Mario Kart 64 is the second installment of the Mario Kart series. This is also the first in the series to use three-dimensional graphics. It was released for the Nintendo 64 and became available in North America on February 10, 1997.

As far as I remember, the Royal Raceway is the home racetrack for Princess Peach because you could see the big tiara above where the seats are.

Fun map. The best part is the long ramp with the two accelerator pads. Me, my sister, and my cousin used to play this game back in '97 and use the ramp to somehow launch ourselves onto the sides of the mountains and camp up there while playing versus mode. But the worst part about this map are those 3 turns before the finish line, Man!

This was literally the best mario kart series and royal raceway my fav track. You needed some skill to drive as you could fall off everywhere. Also the screams, big jumps etc. were epic!
