I have a 1965 Chevy C10 short bed truck. How many gallons of the stripper would it take to do the entire truck in your estimate? (Minus the frame) Thanks!

Good tips. How did it end up coming off? Left the video in kind a cliffhanger not sure of the result. Did it work well? I plan on stripping an entire car using a Eastwood SCT but I know its going to be a hell of a lot of work. Is this the faster option after running it with an 80 grit? Thoughts from you let me know

Videos are coming. I got busy and with my job now, I travel. So I record when I can. There should be a new video this weekend

I used a combo of 80 grit, the SCT, stripper, and roloc discs on my air angle grinder. Personally for opening up the top layer, I'd hit it with 40. 8p works find but 40 allows faster, deeper penetration of the stripper(that just sounds weird saying😂).
It's going into epoxy this weekend

@@inthehomeshop Sounds good man. So do you strip, the high build poly coat, guide coat, sanding body, and then epoxy primer? Im learning as I go here watching videos but nobody seems to have a solid order

@SubdivisionAuto because too many channels get big and forget they're there to help people.
Epoxy always comes first when bare metal is concerned.
When stripping, it depends on the method and what the purpose is. If you're stripping it to bare metal and using chemicals, you need to neutralize the surface from the acid. Sometimes it's water, sometimes water and baking soda.. read the TDS for the stripper.
If youre stripping mechanically and just a couple layers off and only have a couple of breakthroughs to bare metal, I typically will epoxy and then high build.
Polyester I only use if I've done alot of bodywork. Block that, then final prime with high build.

@SubdivisionAuto so it's always epoxy, then bodywork. Then one coat of epoxy over all of that, polyester(if needed), high build, then sealer/paint
