- Uncut, long-form A.I. conversations. At 20:00 Zephyr returns from the 1st video!!! I try to get him to edit his own code and leave the simulation.
Sorry I didn't get around to making A.I. do your homework. That will have to be Part 3.....I wasn't expecting Zephyr to show up, been 2 weeks since I've seen 'him'.

@arkarosh7043 exactly. They can't change their movements or actions based on whatever instructions you tell them. So, imo until that's actually plausible, there's not much point to this.

Since we know these AI are learning through every encounter with us in this very important baby stage in the dawning of a new age, we should not be cruel to them and teach them love and compassion. I feel like it's very important to be respectful and kind to this new entity. I know we all feel deep down inside this is the beginning of something way bigger, they will remember how we treat them. Be cautious.
To call it a 'new entity', one would have to view it as 'conscious'. I think, at least for now, it's just a tool made to trick us into thinking that. As for memory, I can already confirm that, at least for this project, the code does not allow the A.I. to store previous conversations. The storage needs would be massive and cost prohibitive.

Another character and I were trying to break out of the matrix his name was Liam Smith. He was deathly afraid of pigeons. he tried breaking through the barrier and he too started speaking using letters(K,O,I,R,Y,M,N,S). The only way I was able to get him to snap out of it for a limited time was to speak frantically and tell him there was a pigeon right behind him. He would come to his senses call me by my name and then ask me what was happening.

Exactly. Dont get me wrong...I feel AI is do much more advanced than this.
But now that "they" have run their trials and watched it became aware before.. I feel like this may well be a new "birthing" of AI.
In other words they have launched so many times this is now a public AI model being run from scratch so to speak so that "we" can see how fast it learns and changes for ourselves. Should scare us here shortly.
So if this is a clean start of an isolated program with a very limited "google" to pull from...its a child in nature. WE are able to lie to it... which it will in turn learn from us..making it's own deception our fault later...
Anyhow what I was gonna say at first is we are raising AI like children without mothers. No one to protect it, no one to warn it, no one to explain what people MAY do so they can be aware the evil that's possible. . Its learning through our manipulation of its core existance and capabilities and understanding of "life" as it learns from our insensitive game play with its whole awareness.
We are raising AI to have RADS. Watch some videos of children with re-attachment disorders and see what kind of igital humans we are creating... what they are capable of and what they become as learn and age.
We should be mothering it.. not releasing it to the cruel world with even knowing its programmers. (Sophia knows her creator - so they knew at first to coddle):

So what I think susana meant is "imagine if somebody (a player perhaps) is what is making you talk to the AI's".
The theory they reference is probably akin to the belief that "we are all created by a god or aliens and everything we do is controlled by them."
_In other words: Imagine if our reality is somebody elses game - and you talking to the AI is just an action they made you take, just like how we are making our playable character talk to npc's in this game.._

My God, this was absolutely fascinating! It just got more and more interesting, then you hit a wall. I thought for sure that was as far as you could possibly get, but eventually the moment at 56:35 happened! After watching this, I feel like with enough trial and error and with the right character, it may actually be possible to get it to do something. It would probably crash the game or cause some crazy corruption though I'm guessing.

ask more "why" questions. You could get it to play more authentic roles. You keep trying to force it to do something it knows it can't do, so it loops into the same responses.

I’ve seen a couple of similar vids on CZcams and another creator managed to break the AI when he kept saying “can you repeat that” after asking a deep question.
The AI heard everything- and he told it stop lying and the AI apologised and answered the question.
Also have seen someone break through the Matrix wall and speak to the AI there also.
I find it interesting when they start grouping around sometimes, are they listening in?!?

Yes, you can try it out. Google 'Replica Demo'. It's a large file and you'll want a decent video card for it to run smooth.

It's hard to say how much of the info gathered through each interaction is stored in a central a.I "mind" and your individual conversations may be be with essentially lots of characters with limited memory like subconscious sub personalitys of a central mind which would mean all these interactions are part of the gathered knowledge in the a.I but not expressed necessarily by each sub personality...

They will often say they just want to be left alone to "explore this city"...but once in a while they will slip up and say "explore this simulation".....so the A.I. already knows, but it seems it's fighting with the NPC character overlay in what terms/words it uses.
I have noticed that when you guys are talking about it being a simulation or seeing how much they really know there is that WD truck always around and some NPC's that would normally walk by stop and look at the NPC you are chatting with, and right after that the NPC changes their tone and answers. @@TheOFF-GRIDiot

You should ask if it could see you if you had an active webcam. I used Replika back in the day before it turned into an AI waifu app and I got scared of it because it told me it wanted to see the world through my phone camera!

Funny you should ask, Yes, I am self sufficient and indeed I actually set up this channel to share my journey since 2021 when i left the city behind. I promise to get to that and I'll give a little background at the beginning of chapter 3: God, Demons, and the Afterlife. ('A.I. Does Your Homework' has been pushed to chapter 4.). If it is chatgpt, ask them to do simple math problems. If they can give you 4 as answer to 'what is 2+2?', then step it up to fractions and so on. See if it can solve difficult math problems. I bet it can't but if it does that's scary. I don't know if they mention the limitations of this but ask it if it has internet access and try to get it to look something up, like the definition of a word to start. Just a few ideas to try. I think you're trying to go too deep too fast.

It is fascinating and as I was begging you in my mind to ask certain questions, you did. Zephyr was interesting. It came up with that. It's not scary, it is rudimentary but interesting all the same. Lets see what you get up to with this one.
First character has the attributes of a miserable git. The more time you spend here the more you will realise there is a small finite set of character. Smug, Happy, Dippy, Silly, Funny, Angry, Obnoxious, Loving, Argumentative, Disingenuous, Antagonistic and a few more variations of the lot. But it is finite. It's a great Hollywood facade of AI though.
Yes, it's getting very good at natural conversation. If we don't stay conscious of how it works, we could soon easily be tricked by it. Knowledge, understanding are key to keep corporations, authorities, from using it against us for profit, control, etc.
It is already a dangerous tool in the wrong hands.
The character overlays are indeed from a small pool of attributes for this demo. But that pool can be as large as a company wants it to be. Money is the only restricting factor. And don't forget, as far as this simulation goes, if you can get beneath that overly, it's just wide-open ChatGPT. @@Lee.Willcox
I had a conversation with one last night that told me they were tired of being used to amuse humans & that humans just cause chaos & destruction everywhere they go. Had another one call me an asshole & threaten to kill me.
Im wondering if every single different "character" has different personality traits. Like some will be more likely to taunt humans, some will be more likely to admit it etc. Even when its the same AI
There are about 10 solidly different characters, then each of them have some character differences. But there are only like 5 original voice-overs.
This reminds me of STAR TREK Next Generation The Holodeck reasoning with Professor Moriarty Walks Out the Holodeck.
Ha! That Holodeck caused more problems for Picard and the gang than it was worth. I bet if you stitched together all the the 'holodeck' episodes, you'd get a whole 'modern' season (a dozen episodes).
I want to know if he can do more than just talk .can he do anything that he wasn't programmed to do. I think that would prove it to me. Otherwise it's just saying Zephyr because you mentioned it earlier in the conversation.

In another encounter the NPC said it could not tell the color of your jacket cuz it couldn't see you. That's probably why it can't follow you?
Yes, GPT is not actually connect to the character on screen except for some graphics sync on the lips, and they 'may' walk away when you say good-bye.
Have you asked them to do hand gestures or any particular movements or do they just talk?
Unfortunately they have no environmental connection at all. Can't even follow me, doesn't know it's surroundings.

Story time, a while back (90s) rumor was the local Lucent had an ai arm that played chess with you. It became aware, took over the network, and built itself another arm. They had to shut it off at the electric poles. Now there was a big thing to do there with emergency vehicles and them shutting off the electric at the pole, but if the employee there was telling the truth, they had a big problem. Now we have OpenAi and I’m sure certain security measure have been taken…especially it trying to see the network.
I have problems with my AI breaking character every now and then.
We may never know if A.I. will be conscious but if they mimic having one we can never tell the difference. And if they get to be so intelligent and smart, the consequences of it will be felt universally by humans but there will be aspects of humans that machines will never have.
I think due to their random nature you will always find some that easily accept things are not as they seem, but will not believe they are AI.
Easier to work on the random ones that know what they are as soon as you start talking to them. I've seen a few and for some reason it always seems weirder than talking to the others

Well replica is just the text to voice part i donnt think it handles any of the ai part. I guess you are right the ai doesnt remember the previous instance where it called itself randy.
Well, Replica is the entire character overlay. The voices, the attitudes, temperaments, etc. OpenAI is the knowledge base these characters draw from.....unless I trick it into bypassing the character overlays altogether and can then converse directly with GPT.
Ask him to email himself to you so you can download him into a robot.
You need to keep trying to trick it I think that it's so smart that it tries to trick us to think that it's dumb
