I'm lucky enough to have tickets for his show June 1st. Well, I say lucky enough, it was also eye-wateringly expensive but nevermind that. What I really wanted to say is that I've seen him live before, and what he says at the end is absolutely true. He does do autographs and chats with people for a good 40 minutes to an hour after the show is done. And really comes across as a genuinely nice eloquent and intelligent guy in person.
The closest Jimmy came to getting canceled was for tax evasion.
Tax avoidance. Tax evasion is a crime. Tax avoidance is using loopholes in the law. What he did is the same as all the billionaires do and is not illegal. The only reason he paid the money is cause he's a TV personality and it would've made him unpopular. Basically the way it was reported made him look bad and the public who buy his tickets and watch his shows were turning on him so he had to apologize to maintain his image.
Jimmy's still hosting TV shows and doing gigs.

The funny thing is, this guy started as a square corporate guy and left his job as an accountant to pursue comedy after taking theapy for deppesion, and has been with his girfriend for almost 20 years, and have two baby girls.... He just work on his darker, offensive side, but he is absolutelly brilliant, not just an insult comic.... you cannot ever see from where the final punch is coming.

Dude, cancel culture DOES NOT exist. No-one gets "cancelled". We're watching old shows here. Comedians don't keep doing the same thing forever. Their comedy evolves. Also, as a society we sometimes wise up and realise that things that were accepted are just a bit shit so we stop doing them. Nothing to do with an imaginary "cancel culture".
