The Righteous Brothers had a string of hits including "Heart & Inspiration" & "Unchained Melody". Bill Medley sang on the soundtrack of Dirty Dancing (notably "Time of My Life"). Rest in peace Bobby Hatfield. BTW, you'll still hear great voices singing great songs by listening to acapella (Home Free, VoicePlay, etc.).
