President Rodrigo Roa Duterte meets with several Cabinet members and addresses his countrymen anew in his second Talk to the People this week about the latest developments on government’s response against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and other important matters of national interest.
The Chief Executive cites notable achievements in the country’s vaccination drive, as well as the immediate opening of the vaccination program to the general population and the pilot inoculation against COVID-19 of young individuals aged 12-17 in key areas beginning October 15, 2021.
