Great video thanks. Looking at a Becker cat back for my BMW e63 m6 and was worried it may be too loud. Your car sounds really good and not too much of a heat score.
I love the sound of it; you wont be disappointed! The clamps are hit or miss but they suffice. The fitmemt was super super tight tolerances between the pipes; I had to do some massaging to get them together in some spots. The price has dropped by almost $100 now i saw online. Good LUCK your purchase!
@@Pedal2Metal_on_CZcams I will need to drop the exhaust to change some diff bushings so may as well do the exhaust at the same time. Will probably order in the next few days.
@@Pedal2Metal_on_CZcams they just dropped it another 10% to $849. Glad I waited a few days can't wait to hear it on the car. Becker should give you a commission. 👍
@@KRELL427 lol, yea right; their customer service is horrible. I wrote an email to them asking some Qs and never heard anything back, and msg'ed them on their fb page.... No response; zero. I sent my exhaust registration form back in to them, but I have a feeling those wind up in the garbage can. Lol.
Curious if you still have the Volvo? I'm about 2 hours west of you and own a close twin to your S80. Mine isn't the executive line but is almost completely loaded...just missing the nav and BLIS. I have the adjustable suspension which is EXPENSIVE to replace...😬

Sorry, I just now saw your Q. It was very very tight putting it together and EXTREMELY frustrating due to the tight toletances. I would def recommend paying an exhaust shop with a lift to install the system
Question. What’s that whistling sound (beginning at 0:32 )?
Is it the Volvo’s drive system that’s different?
I read a couple forum threads about people complaining about just that, not just with the V8, and other Volvo owners answering that it’s a normal thing since Volvo has a different system that makes that noise.
I’ve checked several stock exhaust Volvo S80 V8 videos now and all seem to have the same sound.
My mic did a terrible job of recording this sound. The whistle is most likely the power steering pump whining some.

I’m looking to buy one this week and wanted to know about possible issues.
This sound was one thing I noticed on multiple videos. Gonna have to hear for myself on the test drive if it bothers me.
Other thing are the gearbox and differential issues, but the one I’ll check out is well serviced.
@@muaythai193 No. I flushed the steering pump fluid since then and replaced the reservoir bottle, which has an internal filter screen. The newest v8 car is now 11 years old, so anything is possible. I flushed my tranny fluid and used Toyota fluid, since it is a Toyota/Lexus transmission. I have a video about it.
why is it so quiet? never seen a aftermarket exhaust that quiet before, its basically stock lol i would buy this just for the tips and get a different one or chop mufflers
It's three times louder than stock; trust me. I want to do a new video... Its hard to capture the sound on the mics. Over a year later it's also slightly louder now too.
