Kobe is The G.O.A.T.
Absolutely
No tf he is not
@@BlackPanther-nv2dy Yes TF he is
Ouh yeah, right after MJ and nose to nose to Steph!
@@freefaller79Steph??🤣 steph is no where near this conversation sir. Stop it please.
Never forget Battier with the hands in the face and Kobe still draining the shots in the West Finals. Who but Kobe would practice hitting shots with a hand in his face.
That shit was wild af.. Kobe the greatest tough shot maker ever
It was semis went to game 7 and beat nuggets on the Western Finals.
Why was Kobe so different from anyone else except MJ? His mind! His WILL TO WIN! HIS SKILLSET! I love his mind. HE IS MY FAVORITE PLAYER OF ALL TIME. It was Magic before Kobe. Once I started to follow Kobe, he separated himself from anyone else.
Each bite of a Black Mamba snake has over 3x the amount to kill a human… and yet it strikes again and again and again…. During Kobe’s crazy peak 03-08 he was basically doing the same thing.. he wasn’t just trying to win, he was trying to ABSOLUTELY DESTROY. I think it was fueled by the Colorado case. He literally played out of going to jail… that’s insane lol
When I think back to 05-06 and the crazy scoring runs he had…man he was dismantling entire teams by himself it was something special. 62 in 3 quarters outscoring the mavs…the same mavs that went to the finals that year. Obvi the 81 point game. The consecutive months of him avg 40ppg. He was the first player in nba history to drop 40 points on every single franchise (except the lakers) this man was different
Respect to Shane he took a lot of pull up jumpers from 24
Shane had some of the most sound defense I’ve ever seen played on Kobe.
Thank you shane for paying ur respects to the mamba. Your defense actually makes Kobe a lot more exciting to watch everytime you make it harder for him to score ❤
Hearing Shane talk about that brings you to tears. Just small ones because it's a great story and it simultaneous breaks your heart. RIP Kob'. Fk the Lakers. "Mamba Out"🖐🎤
We all miss him Lakers for life
Awesome story
Shane was one of those players in the league that personified discipline and excellence that Duke was manufacturing.
He was always so level headed and played everything the right way. He doesnt cheat, and plays honest.
Fantastic interview. Appreciate the energy and honesty ✌️
It’s a good thing Shane Battier looked like he was 45 when he was a rookie. He hasn’t aged a bit 😂😂😂😂
I try to educate all these fools out there Kobe was on a whole nother level that LeBron didn't and could not reach even with the 15 all stars of help LeBron still fell short of Kobe shoes could not fit in them but you got the media trying to brainwash and sell that overhyped busted LeBron product it's pathetic
Facts bruh
Love it. You should add a new sub series to your channel where you only interview the elite defenders of past and present
Battier was an elite defender and Kobe still would destroy him he was that good !
Hard work dedication and no resting mentality that’s Kobe the man was great, Kobe even said Steph was going to be great one day and look now 🫡
What an amazingly full answer to that question that I feel like Draymond was ready to be passive toward early on when the answer favored Shaq but it was so eloquently put that the Kobe we know and love was built off of that animosity of feeling like people thinking it was Shaqs team and not his. We probably don't get 24 Kobe had it not been for 2nd option Kobe with Shaq. Really loved his answer.
Kobe top 3 ever. Top 5 at worse depending on who you talk too
The people who don’t know the game
@@ervinruiz-guzman9115 Kobe winning back to back titles without Shaq made him top 3 or top 5 no debate. I know ball, clearly you don’t
Agree with what they said about Mamba mentality. So many talk about it just thinking about being fearless on the court. But until you’re ready to train til you pass out, then when you wake up, you keep training. Then when you’re not training, you’re watching all the film.
Greatest player is arguable, but Kobe is definitely the greatest student of the game
Fabulous video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My idol Kobe ❤
Fascinating. RIP Mamba. RIP Gianna.
Well said
Battier was tuff on defense mannnn 🔥🔥
Thank you Shane for sharing. That's what I miss black Mamba and mamba mentality, always persuing excellency, stays greatness, a truely professional, represents Lakers Nation. Not about individual record, always winning, hate losing. Kobe would lose sleep if one game he under perform. He would stay hours after game to put the work in and making sure not happen again. Sorry to say, I don't see that anymore with anyone in our current Lakers' player. That is why we are where we are currently, 9th and 10th spot.
Used to hate Shane as a player but he’s a great guest and basketball mind
Man who the hell hates Shane Battier as a player? What a random player to hate lmao
In a 10 year period Kobe made it to the finals 7 times and won 5 times, 4x in a row with shaq(won 3 in a row) Shaq left, Kobe can’t win without him, went 3x in a row got a 2 peat
Shane like me with the hanger bubble shirt. LOL. 😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
💯
Kobe studied the game in the film room, he practiced early and late, before games and after big losses. He shot 45 percent on primarily jumpers with guys draped all over him. The media tried to lie about him by saying he was inefficient. Strange, the media never once said Ray Allen was inefficient and he shot 45 percent for his career. There is not a starting two guard in the history of the NBA who shot 50 percent from the field. Curry, MJ, Allen, Wade, etc.
Kobe is my favorite player of all time, but I do think Battier made him work the hardest for those points.
If you do get traded or other players do can we get a behind the scenes
Anyone who watched the redeem team documentary would know why Kobe is the greatest.
Thank you Dray for mentioning that, i saw where Dwayne wade said he's on Kobe Level🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shane one of the GREATEST DUKE players EVER
Said he never liked him😂😂😂
In life it's better to be respected than liked.
DRAY BRING AIR JORDAN ON YOUR SHOW
Oh Jordan Poole, gotcha.
Kobe stopper never 😂😂
Hey New Media, question for ya? Is New Media rocking self-control yet? 😂😂
Shane speak the Gospel , Black Mamba qas a Dogg ,all these Videos about jis Man , and u still want more,Jordan was the only other player ,who had this impact, need u know more, Bad Ass Rest in Peace Black Mamba 😊
Wow! I hated this dude in the postseason I really wish he could have had his conversation with the Mamba 🥲epic battles and this dude seriously made me nervous
Shane could not guard Kobe. Shane's literally like in every highlight reel with Kobe draining it in his face over and over again.
LeBron could never
Players who manage to score 8-9 threes in a game without defense and talk about Mama Mind, and in a difficult situation they can't come out victorious and take steps or lose the ball in a stupid way and in their own half they can't stop their player they don't know what they're talking about, It's pure delusion, no realism...
and media still try to sell u false gout lbj hehe
I WATCH MJ, Kobe, T-mac, Iverson LBJ Vince etc and LBJ was worst from them all...
Draymond is fake crazy .I'ma tell you why metta would peace show him .look up the video 😂
Booooo go away Greene !!!!👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
It’s green 🤦🏾♂️
