Thereâs a current debate going around among Spider-Man fans. âWhy does Peter Parker have to suffer?â No Way Home being one of the most recent examples. Is the character ever allowed to be happy? Itâs a question that even the Marvel company seems afraid to answer. In the last part, I pushed the character pretty hard, probably harder than the future movies are going to be comfortable doing. Not just to be dark and edgy, but because I think itâs necessary to truly showcase what makes the Spider-Man character so special. I believe that all superheroes fundamentally exist for one specific reason, and Spider-Man is no different. At the end of the day, when you take away the powers and the costumes and the silly villains, at his core⌠Spider-Man should always represent one thing. And today, weâre going to figure out what that is.
How can we implement Daredevil, the Symbiote, Tombstone, Black Cat, Harry Osborn, Zendaya's MJ, Kingpin, and so many more characters in one trilogy?
With great power, there must also come great responsibility:

To people disappointed that this will never be an official movie trilogy, that doesn't make it any less of a Spider-Man story. Any medium, be it comics or shows or this cool narrated format, has the potential to tell a great narrative. And it's not like because it's fanfiction it has any less meaning, if you care about this story then it happened to this version of the character. All of this to say I really loved this video.
Your take on the black suit is phenominal, and I love that it only amplifies the dormant rage within Peter, rather than creating it. But I've got two notes: first, lean into the addictive aspect of the suit. It would make for incredible subtext throughout the film, where it's both Peter's battle with Scorpion, but also his battle with addiction. Second, the metaphysical visit from May reassuring him that everything is ok just feels out of place for the story. Instead, I think it should be a flashback to May and Ben confronting a young Peter after he got into a fight at school, explaining that while, yes, he's had a lot of hurt throughout his life, that's not an excuse to hurt others, and that we can always choose to be kind, be understanding. Then cut to Peter, wracked with grief that he forgot that lesson. He realises that he was in too deep, and he hangs up the suit, intending to leave Spider-Man behind and focus on being as good as he can be as Peter Parker.
It also echos the Tony quote âif youâre nothing with out this suit you shouldnât have itâ and now Peter doesnât think he should have it
16:57 this should actually be in a movie! The song and him coming out of the grave as if he was dead as the black suited spider man was just an absolute master piece

As a fanfiction writer this is the best ever spider-man fanfic I have ever seen and has given me so many ideas for my own take on a College trilogy.
I think the introduction of Harry could be changed a tiny bit where MJ introduces her boyfriend, and Peter is happy to see her with a different person. Harry goes to shake peterâs hand and introduces himself. Peter hears his name and his face immediately goes dead. His skin gets pale and the goblin laugh echos in his mind. For a second Harry becomes Norman (cameoed by William Dafoe obviously) but then Peter snaps back to reality and worryingly greets Harry back.
Also the fact that you introduced the kid from that one random story about the kid who collects Spider-Man was amazing.
I need Peter absolutely holding himself back from beating an orphan named Harry Osborne

you can call me a âwiddle cry babyâ all you want, but that Aunt May scene in the second movie made me actually tear upâŚ.dang.
Agreed, that scene was legitimately pretty great. And I appreciate the decision to incorporate the rule of 3s with Peter going too far. 1st in No Way Home, but being stopped by Tobey, 2nd against Kraven here, but stopped by Felicia, and 3rd with Gargon, but nobody was there to stop him this time. Coupling that with the notion that the proclivity for that violent rage being within Peter to begin with and they symbiote merely cranking that up, leads to an incredible payoff.
Peter asking the specter of Aunt May if he's a good person after what he did to Scorpion is heart wrenching. Even moreso when he doesn't have the excuse to blame his actions on the symbiote. He has to take responsibility for what he's done. It was all him.
agreed, if that happened in the actual movie i would probably start tearing up
I love that the black suit only enhanced his anger, I never liked how it was like âweLl Itâs JuST The SUitâ the darkness being in spider man is soooo good
Question: What was your idea for this new goblin at the end of Part 3?
- Is it Kingsley as Hobgoblin?
- Harry Osborn as the New Goblin?
- Ned Lee truly becoming the CEO of Sex?!
Kingsley makes the most sense, up and comer in the criminal underworld. Fills the power vacuum.
Dude you really need to write a follow up trilogy with an adult Peter and Miles taking up the mantle. Amazing video, seriously
holy shit yes
They could also introduce an aged down version of Gwen. Itâs too late in Peterâs arc for Gwen to make an impact, but I believe sheâs work well as a supporting character in Milesâ arc. I wouldnât want for her to become a spider-person in this story, but I think having her as a best friend and later love interest to Miles would work well.
I think this could also create an opportunity for a subversion. Iâd like to see the Green Goblin drop Gwen again and have Peter successfully save her while sacrificing his own life. I donât know exactly how itâd work, but I want Peterâs death to be somewhat caused by Milesâ failure to act.
i need that sequel video so badly haha
I think it would be cool if, after the second Peter trilogy, they did another trilogy where each one had a different main Spider-Man- Miles for 1, Silk for 2 and Gwen for 3.

God, the addition of Johnny in the story by the third part just really hits home. It feels like something ripped straight out of the comics and it just feels so Spider Man.
It is actually ripped straight from the comics. There was a b-story in the back of an old issue of a spidey comic called "The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man," it's about a kid named Tim Harrison who collects everything spidey related, prompting a newspaper column to write a story about him, which we see narrating over the whole issue, telling us about Tim and how his one wish is to meet spider-man. The issue follows him as he gets that wish, as one night spidey comes and visits him in his room.
He shows off his powers, tells Tim about spidey-sense which was a pretty well kept secret at the time, and even reveals his secret identity to him. Eventually he has to go and swings away as the issue comes to its final page. The article reaches its final line with a heartbreaking reveal that Tim was diagnosed with leukemia and only has weeks left to live, as spider-man swings away from a cancer clinic.
It's one of the most well known and loved spider-man stories ever, it's just so touching. In fact, when Peter Parker nearly died and went to heaven for like 5 minutes, one of the people who he specifically runs into and talks to is Tim Harrison
The thing is, in the original black costume saga, the symbiote didn't alter Peter's personality at all. That was a detail that was added in other Spider-Man media that was retroactively imported into the comics. Originally, the only downside to wearing the suit was that it was taking Peter out for joyrides at night and that eventually, he'd never be able to take it off. And I like that detail for your trilogy because it underscores that everything bad and dangerous about the symbiote was in Peter first. Peter is negligent with his loved ones, Peter is a little self-involved, and the onus is on Peter to engage with those parts of himself and actively rise above them.
This is my favourite Spider-Man trilogy, it's so great!
Especially love how dark it gets, really shows the growth from previous movies
Thank u troyoboyo 17 for compiling this vid. Amazingly written and narrated. Hopefully feige sees this and the movie is made from ur vision. And thank u for using The Spectacular Spider-Man the animated series as a story point.
I can't even lie this is so much better than I expected and I'm so glad you didn't inject too much of that "MCU" DNA into it. No galactic threats, no dimensional beings. Would be amazing to see these as actual films. And as for the Miles in the MCU video? Holy heck yes please he's my favorite Spider-man.
Thank you for using Mac Gargan and making him not only Scorpion but Venom too. Really hope that happens. It still baffles me to this day why they would cast Nacho from Better Call Saul for him and just throw him in prison and forget about him.
I also dig your version of Harry Osborn and how his arc is kind of like the reverse of the Raimi trilogy, because him and Peter start out on the wrong foot but then he turns out to be a pretty ok guy. And Timothee would 100 percent be perfect casting for that.
This truly makes the scorpion seem like a truly terrifying monstrosity, I love this trilogy's darkness
I absolutely adored this entire fanmade trilogy. While watching this video, I sometimes forgot that this wonât be what we get. And while yeah thatâs a bummer, Iâm so glad you shared this with the world.
Please do a trilogy following this that would be so great. Just seeing green goblin as the main villain, miles becoming spiderman, harry and peters relationship, possibly even doc ock or martin lee villain appearance
Around 21:30, I think it'd be a great idea to have a sort of nightmare flashback and bring back Dafoe to be in it because that was a trend in the raimi films and I think it'd be a great callback
And I mean, Dafoe was the third and most impactful impact in Peterâs life.
He killed May, almost killed MJ and destroyed all the things he loved.
This trilogy is the closest thing to an actual perfect trilogy I have ever seen. It tells me that you 100% understand spideys character
I predicted from the beginning of Homecoming that Kraven was gonna kill Aunt May at the end of the high school trilogy. Interesting to see I was not that far off from the original plan.
Dude I can tell how much love has been poured into this rewrite project and it is 100% worth it. Was honestly losing it there at the ending, as if i were watching a real end-credits teaser for a movie. This entire video is incredible
Actually, now that you mention it...Kraven makes PERFECT sense for the 4th spider-man. I think it would be perfectly sensible for the first Spider-Man film after NWH to have him fight someone he can't out-smart or even overpower. Kraven should be a character that you respect for his morals but the kind of guy you listen to talk and go "uh...is that guy sane?". I think Kraven would be fantastic.
To solve the problem of Osborn not existing in the main MCU, you could give it the name it had when Liz Allen was CEO in the comics, Alchemax.

I think the scene with Johnny towards the third act could be a great place to reuse the civil war responsibility quote. âWhen you can do the things I can do, and you donât, and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you.â Itâs such a good take on the responsibility quote; seeing as this Peter didnât have an Uncle Ben moment (maybe?) it makes sense for him to come to a simpler, child-like conclusion for his responsibility and power, and having Johnny repeat it would be the final step in urging Peter to dawn the mask once more.
We need a GoFundMe to make this an actual film trilogy.
That scene between Peter and Johnny actually made me tear up hearing it the second time, just imagine what Peter's thinking about.
This is gold dude! With all of the people gunning for Fisk and a âDevilâs Reignâ Iâm so glad you did something different and unique with adding in Tombstone. Iâd personally prefer Hobgoblin if I HAD to pick a crime boss villain, especially after the deep hatred Tomâs Peter has with Tobeyâs Green Goblin. But I LOVE that you didnât INSTANTLY try to shoehorn in Kingpin Daredevil Scorpion and Miles all into the same movie. I love that when Peter beats Mac Gargan into a coma itâs not in the black suit, and I love that most of all, this built UP to Venom properly! You also made me like JJJ and I didnât think that was possible! Spectacular job! Ultimate, even!
This way better than any live action spidey movie. This is so good. A perfect trilogy. Also is it just me or does peter's current state in the MCU reminds anyone else of ginger Wally in the new 52.

This video made me emotional a little bit - one, because it's really good and if they went in this direction it would be perfect. But two, I really love Spider-Man and he's my hero. I mean, I love Daredevil more and he's my favourite but Spidey was my first love and you just summed up the reason why this character is really important and means a whole bunch to people. Those 6 months of work were worth it!
This is how I felt when I played with my Spider-Man toys as a kid! Haha love the video super great ideas!!
I have been lucky to be alive in watching all the Spider-Man media available and my god this trilogy exceeds everything I have ever saw on the character. It is the most relatable representation of this character that I have ever seen. Spider-Man truly represents hope an idea that no matter how much we are pushed down we keep fighting our way back up. I have recently moved to the US for my internship and have had problems lately, of course none to peters level but problems none the less and whenever I felt I was stuck I kept telling myself that the time to run is over itâs rather time to stand up to the world no matter how much it tries to pin us back down. I loved this video and honestly wish if I could direct this with the gentleman in the video playing a major role as a collaborator force because honestly this is the Spider-Man story that felt needed to be told. This video just made me realize how much I love Spider-Man and how important it has been through my life unconsciously for heâs been a force that drove me to never give up the part of realizing his anger and confessing his flaws to may genuinely struck and emotional core for I have struggled with that feeling for so so long and I believe that if this trilogy is ever made by gods grace it will indeed be one of the most meaningful pieces of work I have ever seen for a fictional character, truly I love Spider-Man but I am fortunate I am or anyone is not actually him but his spirit can live within us to never give up and do the right thing truly Stan lee though unintentional at first made a universal character.
The part at the end with JJJ actually made me cry. Why is this dude not working at marvel?
Harry being with MJ and Peter remembering the Osborn name is something I was thinking about for a long time. It's crazy we had the same idea. Great video btw
I've never seen a video of yours before and I've not really been into this kind of content lately but I've just sat through this entire video absolutely captivated by this story you've crafted. Not to mention the INSANE amount of detail, hard work, passion, and love that you've clearly put into this video. I might be biased rn but anything the MCU puts out for future spidey will most definitely fall short of what you've made here. Absolutely incredible!
15:12, one of the more appreciable aspects of Hollandâs Peter is how easily he overpowers normal humans and how normally only other superhumans can overpower him, but most importantly how consistently itâs depicted.
Also, having Miles Warren be a source for various characters, super-criminals or otherwise, is a great way to explain how their are so many of them in the city (and if we take Hawkeye and She-Hulkâs depiction of both Kingpin and Daredevilâs physical capabilities, the former withstanding an explosion point-blank unscathed and the latter swinging down a parking structure as if he was Spiderman, it could be a way to logically explain how these two could display superhuman capabilities despite them supposedly being relatively normal humans. Kingpin especially would likely have access and a desire for superhuman attributes considering his line of work now being complicated by the surplus of supers in his universe, which he would likely need to compete with in order to remain relevant, and his previous defeats at the hands of Daredevil.). It could also be retroactively explained that Warrenâs experiments are what created the spider that escaped and bit Peter (and later, the spider that bit Miles and perhaps other characters like Cindy Moon), personally connecting him and potentially all Spider-People in this universe to the antagonists, who are also subjects of Warrenâs work, while also allowing them to otherwise remain random people that werenât âdestinedâ for those powers (both as a way to distinguish Hollandâs Spiderman and any others in this continuity from Garfieldâs, who was genetically compatible with the spider due to his father using his own genetic code in engineering the spider, not that I found that to be a flaw in that version of the character considering the plot points of Peterâs parents and origins in that series of films was intentionally designed to be a mystery to be unraveled)
1:36:56, Considering Gargan still hates Peter, knows his identity and still is a superhuman without his armor or Venom (same as Kravin), I would think he would still attempt to hold that over Peter in a moment of being subdued, still threaten to hunt his loved ones (a desperate and thoughtless play to control the situation just as he did when he was stabbed that he would likely be too frustrated and prideful to prevent himself from repeating again). Peterâs guilt would be the only thing stopping him from brutalizing or trying to intimidate Gargan into silence, but Gargan may just end up insulting him over being too weak (a triggering phrase considering Goblin spoke it too) to finish him off because itâll make him feel bad and ruin that idilic heroic image he naively aspires towards (and after all, heâs already proven himself to fall short of any idillic image considering he already tried to kill him before, already gave into his emotions, so why stop now?) However, considering Johnnyâs presence in the scene, this boy that perceives Spiderman as virtuous and worth admiring despite his mistakes (Gargan may even accuse Spiderman of having tried to kill him in front of Johnny to further upset Peter and filthy Johnnyâs perception of his idol unless Peter were to reveal it first on his own terms), Peter may attempt to shut Gargan down a different way, by genuinely apologizing to him for losing control and critically injuring him, noting that nothing he can do would change that or help get rid of the hate and rage that motivates Garganâs sadism and vengefulness, something that Peter himself has struggled with and that allows him to empathize with Gargan to a degree, but he refuses to be like Gargan, letting his own issues be an excuse to hurt others and trying to make them feel small and weak so that he can feel big and powerful, not anymore. Gargan can respond with confusion or perhaps frustration at not being able to affect Peter with his words like he did before, feeling robbed of the power he felt while Peter feared him or attempt to dismiss his apology as being so the child in the room praises him more (regarding the memorabilia littering the room), only for Peter to confirm it, but not for praise, but because he wants to set a good example for that child and for Spiderman to be someone worthy of praise (referring to how Gargan only pretended to be a hero for recognition, for himself). It can be a truly cathartic moment where this version of Peter truly embody the compassion and humility of Spiderman, something he couldnât do on his own when facing Raimiâs Norman (who he seemingly conflates with his Goblin identity despite Norman actually having no control over his body until Peter cured him and demonstrated genuine confusion and remorse when he realized Goblin did something horrible without him even knowing it, making him just another of Goblinâs victims, an aspect of the story that feels unexplored for this Peter, who never really lost control to Venom the same way Raimiâs Peter lost control to his) or this storyâs Kraven (who seemingly should have been a bigger threat considering he is also a superhuman with a vendetta against Peter that can actively locate Spiderman and has seen him without his suit), not just defeating a villain physically, but ideologically, something Spiderman in visual media hasnât really gotten to do, even if it doesnât ultimately resolve the continued threat of Gargan or Kraven knowing who Peter is (which can later lead to a Sinister Six that are a threat to both Spiderman and Peter, and by extension, any of his associates).
Can't believe I watched the whole thing and felt massive changing tidal waves of emotions like watching a movie in the theaters
This was absolutely amazing and it would be PERFECT, as a 3 seasons tv show, I am not sure about the teilogy because I feel like there is too many thinga going on in each movie, but the BEAUTY on the narrative, cinematography, thought, analysis, everything was done so to perfection, I love how little Johnny is one of those kids that hold on to life for spiderman, like Tim Harrison, I love the arc that peter goes through and is the most msture that has been seen in any spiderman trilogy, I *LOVE* when Kraven puts Peter in May's grave, I love that you introduced Daredevil, I love that you brought back Scorpion, everything was so fucking god I enjoyed everything, few complains would be that, some characters just sometimes dissappear, like after the first movie, Peter never kill Kraven (as far as I remember it is like 1am at this point), and he just beats him down in a sewer, and then Kraven just never appears again, did he die or something? Or just went back with his wife maybe, idk, and Ned completely dissappeared, except if he is the new green goblin, Harry and Mr Fantastic where a little bit like cameos, other than that, everything else goes absolutely hard, and feels amazing, fantastic written, spectacular
Awnsering after 3 month lol
I think that implying Kraven off himself somewhere in the 10 last minute after the fight end could first do a comic reference cause well kraven go OOF and it can also show, before the Scorpion scene, that even thought Peter made a promise to never go past the line of killing he cannot control all things
I agree ngl this narrative feels too large to fit in a trilogy
Bruh, they should adapt this somehow, at least as a short comic run or somehow. They need to pay you for this. This is beautiful, I'm watching this even thought I've seen each part separately.
you should totally do a miles trilogy! i can see it all building ; and iâm more than interested
Alright, I'm sold. Sony should hire this dude as one of their writes for Spider-Man movies from this point forward.
He straight up made an entire movie basically
Bro he made 3
(Reference to the videoâs length)
@@Balls4339 yes thank you
God these are so good. Thanks for reposting in one video Troyo. Had a great time rewatching this "glorified fanfiction". I don't care honestly because... Holy shit i love Spider-Man and i love these videos
I keep coming back to this video and it makes me all excited every time i watch it. truly amazing to see all of this creativity for a character we all love.
This is one of the best fanfiction stories i evet heard, this actually deserves to be turned into a movie, series, comic book, novel, anything. This is amazing and i thank you for this amazing creation. Thank you
This is really good holy shit I loved the idea that the black suit only augments peters darkest thoughts, not creates them out of nothing
Loved these the first time I watched them. And Iâm sure Iâm gonna love them even more this time! This whole trilogy is genuinely so impressive, I donât usually cry from CZcams videos so youâre doing something very right in my opinion
This is a phenomenal story, I've been listening to it while doing some work around the house, these would easily be the greatest Spider-Man movies to be made. Your storytelling/ narrating is amazing! I found myself going through so many emotions throughout. The scenario where Jameson is flung out the window and Spidey saves him finally realising he isn't all that bad, gave me the chills. Killer video man! Excited to watch more of your content.
This is honestly amazing, well done man. Would love to see a part 7,8 & 9.
AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES???? HOLY SHIT
edit: just watched the last part, I had a theory and a hope that if you did make more mcu spidey prewrites, that you would use the hobgoblin instead of the green goblin, and I'm glad to hear I may be right!
Hour and 45 minutes of peak
Well for my Spidey prewrite, I was thinking the villains for my trilogy would be Hobgoblin, Scorpion, and Alastair Smythe as the main recurring villain in the trilogy along with Fisk and Tombstone. Another potential villain that I would like to use is the Jackal. I would also like to introduce members of the Spider family too.
Watched your original Spider-Man trilogy you did. Watched this video in one sitting and it still amazes me how well you've told Spider-Man's story. Been going through some rough patches in life. And this video reminded me to not give up and always be better.
Iâm genuinely loving this genre of video essay where itâs just canon-divergent, fix-it fan fiction wrapped up in audio/visual package.
Itâs a format thatâs able to combine the ideas and concepts that fan-author wants in a story with the actual narrative of the story they want to tell. The format seamlessly blends the two things together, which is nice since reading an authorâs note in the middle of story feels like getting ripped back into reality, despite how much they may add to the overall narrative.
This video rocks I was enthralled the whole way. This format is so creative and your pitches are so dope chameleon as the puppet master and the way u did venom got me hype!!
