- Many people think that the village of Blanchisseusse Trinidad ends at the Spring Bridge as they come to Blanchissuesse to enjoy the beaches, river, pools, and waterfall. However, there is a lot more beyond the Spring Bridge over the Marianne River. The road after the Spring Bridge is the route followed by most people on their hike to the Paria Waterfall. One however does not have to hike to Paria to be able to enjoy hiking in the Blanchisseuse region. Travelling along any part of this dirt road is an enjoyable experience. This video showcases part of the hike beyond the Spring Bridge over the Marianne River in Blanchisseusse Trinidad.

It was my pleasure.
I always enjoyed your videos. Trini outdoors. Is what use to keep me in touch with Trinidad in the early 2000s. Glad you are inspiring others that live home and abroad. Retirement. Doesn’t mean you stay in the house. There are so much to do in these 2 blessed islands. Nature is our gift from the above!🙏🏽 blessings to you and your crew! Continue living and enjoying life.
You are correct, retirement does not mean staying in the house.
I haven't been there in ages, many more houses, if only they would fix the road.
There are definitely more houses than in the past.
Time for me to return!! Sharing!👍

Thank you for the video. I took pictures on the spring bridge several day ago and was very curious as to where the road lead. Unfortunately the group I was with was not interested in finding out. Now I know
You are welcome
The markers are actually in miles, can’t remember where I heard this but it’s true, the roads were built by an American company originally
Although I have grown up calling these mile markers, I do not think these are in miles. The distance from Port of Spain to the Spring Bridge is approximately 45 kilometers which is 28 miles. The distance from the bridge to that first marker cannot be 36 miles, so those markers have to be in kilometers.
Top narrator are.... full 💯
