This was on the radio when my youngest was 3 (22 now, lol). I was driving and when I looked back at her, tears were just STREAMING down her face. I asked her what was wrong, and she said, "This song is just so sad" and I was dumbfounded that a child that young could recognize the sadness behind a fairly upbeat melody.
That is one smart kid!
There is definitely a melancholy vibe to this absolutely, and it's sweet your kid recognized it...

The beginning of this song makes realize when i was younger how fake amd empty i was. Along with how alot of life is vannity and is meaningless. All that matters in life is having health, someone to love and be loved by, and most importantly believeling in Jesus as your savior. Everything else doesnt really matter in the end. If i could write a message to myself at 15/16 thats what i wud say. If your someone reading this trust me. Especially if your a kid struggling to figure stuff out.
