When solo van camping doesn't go to plan...

I headed to Snowdonia (Eryri) national park for a solo camp in the our VW California campervan with my dog, Jack the labrador for a 2 night camping trip in the forest. One night in the van and one night in my new wild camp tent.
The good old British weather with an infestation of flies put a dampener on that and while the temptation to go home was strong, we decided to stick it out, light a fire, have a beer and make the most of it.
It's too easy to make a negative video/thumbnail to gain attention from a mildly affected trip but life is full of negativity so, sometimes you just have to make a positive situation out of a slightly challenging situation.
There may be elements of bushcraft bits in this video and that's because, my interests and hobbies aren't just restricted to campervans and mountains so, it's likely, if you stick around, you'll see more of this in the mix as life should be varied (in my opinion).
