- A day in the life of Plumbing life with Bruce. 4 ODDLY SATISFYING Jobs in this video. I'll take you to 4 jobs which will also include some plumbing maintenance. Of course we'll still do some drain unblocking!
We'll start the day off in Kings Park, Western Australia and work our way around the Perth suburbs. From blocked drains, to burst pipes, we'll do it all. As I'm actually a plumber who specializes in all aspects of plumbing, we'll see it all! If you like this newer style of content, let me know!
I clear blocked drains from residential homes to commercial properties. Drain Cleaning Australia has been drain cleaning and plumbing for 10 years. Some of the tasks performed are clearing blocked toilets, blocked basins, blocked showers, blocked sinks and of course blocked Grease Traps which have featured on this channel many times. On this channel you will see videos on how to unblock a toilet, how to unblock a sink, how to unblock a basin, how to unblock a shower, how to unblock sewer drains etc.
There are also videos of clearing blocked storm water, clearing blocked rain water pipes, clearing blocked grease traps, clearing blocked grease arrestors, clearing blocked spoon drains and clearing blocked channel drains.

I live in New Hampshire, USA......During my Navy days, 1976 82, we were taken to Fremantle by our guided missile cruiser USS Truxtun (CGN 35) in 1980 and took a bus up to Perth for a three day liberty visit. I met a young lady while in Perth and she invited me and my running mate at the time to come stay with her and her family in Kalamunda. Even went to a local school to visit with the kids there to speak to them about the Navy and America. Loved it there.

Bruce, the real treat is reading the auto-generated captions as it tries to follow your Aussie slang. You'd think you were a confectioner, the number of times "chocolate box" has come up on-screen.
I had the exact same water feature several years ago when I discovered that a very tiny $11 part was leaking down behind the molding on the upstairs bathroom toilet. And you are correct, there is no absolutely no way to get through without cutting the ceiling. I was blessed at that time to have one of my brothers come over and help me deal with it at 3 o'clock in the morning. Sadly all my brothers have gone on to heaven. This just reminded me of Bill. 😪
Keep mixing in these types of episodes. Stick us in the van and we get what’s on the work orders!

Fun fact about where I live in the U.K., …in 2024
I live in the fens. Every time it rains significantly the internet goes out. But at least the toilets work, in the next village over the toilets stop working when it rains because the idiots in charge of planning forgot what fens are and flood plains are and that we live in a landscape that requires active water management. Drain unblocking here would be quite different.

I am retired nurse, going on 70 this year. I know you work hard, but I still like your humor, we live near the big arch in St. Louis Missouri. Some areas nice, some areas are dangerous. If you ever come to the united states, you probably want to be a tourist in New York or Los Angeles, but St. Louis was bad in the 60’s and 70’s, and it took about 30 years and is clean around the arch and has free zoo entrance and science center in Forest Park is lovely. I have learned things on Australia from your videos. Hope you never have another big forest fire.

Your view of the beautiful Kings Park reminded me of the only time I was there in 1956. The skyline of the city was somewhat different of course. I was aged 11 and emigrating to Melbourne from Manchester UK. We docked at Fremantle and had a day in Perth. The Swan river looked so inviting, so my brother and I went down the bank and had a paddle. I seem to recall there was a monument in the park, I think a man on a horse. Would I be right? Anyway after 10 lovely years in Melbourne, the Government wanted me to go to Vietnam, so I escaped back to Manchester! I still follow Aussie Rules - Good old Collingwood Forever!
Watching from Huntsville, Alabama, where the bulk of the rockets for the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions. I visited Perth a couple of times in the late 70's and early 80's, and fell in love with the City of Lights.
A lot more than 2,000 of us now. 😀
I do like seeing some plumbing jobs too. It may not always be as exciting but is certainly relaxing.

Your mall, double drain unclogging video popped up yesterday afternoon and I’ve been binge watching since. I can’t stop watching, and I don’t know why, but it’s bloody amazing stuff. I even witnessed your counter smash the 100,000 mark. You’re a plumber with a heart, and you know how to make the customers happy. You and BIGSTACKD are my favourite CZcamsrs from the Perth area. What a small world.

Really enjoyed it Bruce. I like it when you throw in some facts about your area. No eight legged dogs in North Carolina that I know of, but It is home to the first American gold rush. In 1799 when a 12 year old named Conrad Reed found a 17 pound nugget while fishing. They used it as a doorstop for 3 years before his dad took it to a jeweler to see what the glittery stone was. He ended up selling it to the jeweler for $3.50(the jeweler should rot in hell for it, just my opinion.) John, the dad, after figuring out he got conned, started prospecting in the creek and ended up finding a 23- pound nugget. He then starting mining for it. It is a state run historic site now.

Visited kings park and saw the black swans.
It was Christmas and being an Englishman I was used to Christmas being bloody freezing, not 43°.
I wish I'd stayed there and not come back to the UK.
Loved Australia and the people.

Must have watched for 10 hours straight.
I never thought I'd enjoy watching someone unblock numerous drains.

Hi Bruce. Hello from Marion, North Carolina, USA. "Where Main Street Meets The Mountains". Small town on the shore of Lake James and the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A lot of outdoor activities in the area, watersports, trout streams, hiking trails, hunting, and so on. The town was built around furniture manufacturing which has largely moved overseas. There used to be commercial gold mining in the area, now mining is just recreational.
It's a beautiful little place to live.

Loving the clips of you driving round and amazed at the quality of road there. Ours are full of pot holes. There is a road called the A59 which is forever being dug up. As soon as one utility has finished and tarmaced over badly a couple of days later another utility comes resulting in constant traffic lights and delays!

Hello Bruce, I often see a connection between plumbers and surgeons [mostly when I get the bill], just kidding. However the work is mostly relative. You are just so sensitive treating every little problem so passionately like a specialist so interested in the welfare of your patient. All those wonderful surgical tools. Surely you are due for a chair at the university to teach others to respect the system so dear to your heart. Can't wait for the next program.

I’m from Canada, Nova Scotia. Fun fact I live on an island in a small fishing community about 15 minutes from the closest town, nearly 3 hours from the city Another fun fact is we happen to be the only place in Nova Scotia that actually increases their power usage over the summer instead of decreasing it because of all of our fish plants!

I'm from a city in Canada near Toronto, we're only known for our oil refineries, and a big bridge to the US.. lol. I don't think you have it in ya Bruce to make a bad video. Entertaining as hell. Copper pipe gets pinholes from the inside out. Painted over from the years the paint peels off real easy where it leaks.
Love those press fittings ,makes repairs easy. Of course the tool costs a small fortune. Like that temporary leaking
pipe patch. Hot day at 100 F ( 38C).That "all full of pipes" drain at the end had my laughing. They do things way

I live in Fergus falls Minnesota. A smallish town of about 20k people. It is big enough to have stuff to do while small enough to have some of that small town community feeling
I'm in New England, and turns out steak tips are a new england thing. I thought I was going crazy when my friends didn't know what I was talking about. And they're missing out. Tender cube cuts of meat usually marinated to perfection and served with barbequed veggies or sauted mushrooms. Banger meal that honestly challenges a typical cut of steak.
Talking about the temperature...we woke up to 24°F temps this morning here in Mississippi...and I loved every minute of it!!! I absolutely LOVE the cold!!!

I am so impressed that there are drains in the collonies. Sadly I am too familiar with drains. We moved in to a house on the West Coast of Wales about 3 years ago, unbelieveably with mains sewers. My daughters room above my own, she had her own en-suite bathroom. She was complaining her toilet kept blocking up and was getting a back log, so to speak. Lo and behold a charming stain appeared on my ceiling beneath her bathroom. The only access was through my ceiling which was above my fitted wardrobe. Oh joy. I replaced a section of the waste pipe after emptying it onto my wardrobe first. It turns out the waste pipe was almost horizontal so didn't get enough flow. Charming. Great channel

watching multiple quick jobs is great! keeps a persons attention thru the whole thing. the 4th job (soda system) yes syrup can be a problem but also algae can grow in there and create a full pipe plug. they need to pour a cup of bleach down there once a month, but they would have have to call u again for that small drain. surely they have many other around there that can challenge your skills and equipment.
