The Thiruppavai (Tamil: திருப்பாவை) is a Tamil devotional poem attributed to the female poet-saint Andal (also known as Nachiyar, Kodhai or Goda Devi). It consists of thirty stanzas (paasurams) in praise of Thirumal (a manifestation of Lord Vishnu). It is a part of Divya Prabandha, a collection of the works of the twelve Alvars, that is considered an important part of the devotional genre of Tamil literature. In Thiruppavai, Andal gives a universal call to all people to recite the name and glories of Lord Vishnu.
    DAY 6 :
The second part of Thiruppaavai starts from this Paasuram. Coming Paasurams can be taken as the Paasuram, which wakes up the Paavais. These Paasurams are the Verbal exchanges that happen between Sri Andal and other Paavais (some are inside the house and along with Sri Andal, some are out side the house).
"Paavais! Get up. The birds have woken up and giving its sound. The Sangu is started to sound from the temples of Sriman Narayanan, whose Vaghanam is Garudan. Is that sound didn't heard by you? During the great Sri Krishnavathar, He not only killed Bhoothaki but also the Sakadasuran. Yogis and Rishis have started to praise Him, who is found on the Aadhiseshan in ThirupPaarkadal in Nithirai Kolam. Did the praising Naamams "Hari, Hari" did hear in your ears? Those Naamams are entering into our minds clearly. So, please get up."
