Nice. I just towed a 23' Sea-Doo 300 miles across the state with a Panamera Turbo. I was able to keep up a steady 60mph without even pushing it. Very stable, plenty of power for hills.
Love this video. Just got a base 2021 Cayenne and waiting for the boat to come (2,800 lb deck boat with 1,200 lb trailer). Always wondered if it can really tow like they said. This video confirms it.
that boat weighs 6,000lb? I have an LSV23 Malibu and it weighs 4,700lbs... Also how does the porsche do on hills and how is your visibility? Contemplating getting the new Turbo S model but feel its a little narrow for the width of the boat...
Trevor Felt with the trailer, yes it's a 6k load. The GTS does remarkably well on hills and turns. Your turning point is a bit different than bigger trucks, meaning it tracks the trailer better in my opinion, rather than slightly dragging it. You do give up a little side visibility, but it's not not safe. You can't see anything out of the rear view mirror besides the boat in any rig. The GTS pulled the boat nicely and my wife's favorite so far, especially for ease of backing. The turbo should be no issue at all. Would’ve thought the 4.2 Tdi V8 with much more torque & more importantly, much better fuel economy, especially when towing, would be the perfect choice? Hate to be paying your fuel bill.
