- Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make these earrings you will need -
• 0.8mm wire (20g), 2 x 10" (26cm)
• 0.315mm weaving wire (28g) 300cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
• beads, 2 x 4mm, 2 x 3mm
• Jump ring, 8mm outside measurement (or whatever size you have handy)
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

You make it look so easy. I'm still learning. I know if I go slow and take my time, it looks a lot better. I lack imagination of where to go. Yikes, LOL!

Loving this series...daft question - do you wind 300 cm onto your bobbin by hand? How to do keep it straight? Or I've seen people do it with a drill but I won't be doing that...And yes I find square wire very twisty and squirrely 🙂
Yes wind it on by hand, I pull about a metre off the reel and wind that on, then another metre and wind that one. So just a bit at a time, if you keep it straightish, it goes on the bobbin nicer. When using the bobbin, it drops to your side so it's kept straight and out of the way 👍
@@KellyJonesJewellery Thanks so much for the advice

Thanks so much 😊💕
Did you use round weaving wire or half round? TIA
Round weaving wire 👍
Kejjy I have been in the hospital for quite a while and haven't had a chance to practice. Do you rhink the weaving would be to hard for me? I love your work.
Thank you, have a practice first and see how you feel. Cut some short lengths of wire and just weave, practice and go slowly, see if that works. Then try bending the wires, stop of it's too much, you can always pic it up later and have another go 👍🌸 take care 💕
