How are the people in Ghana?
Do they speak English in Ghana?
What are the best hotels in Ghana?
    What to do in Ghana?
See my Ghana vlog series for info on where I stayed, my experience in Ghana, Afrochella 2019, Elmina, travel around Accra and more of Year of Return Ghana 2019: • Playlist

Vanessa Kanbi (she has TONS of great guides for hotels, etc. and also amazing vlogs. she's been going to Ghana since she was a child) / @vanessakanbi

Passport Heavy (his videos are super high quality and are stunning to look at---his Ghana video look rich AF) / @passportheavy
There are also tons of other videos that will pop up in your recommended videos once you watch these. I watch a TON of CZcams and my history only went back so far....lol. But I definitely watched tons of other videos that happened to pop up in my recommended.
My entire trip was booked and curated by Gone 2 Ghana: tsabd.com/2SRN827. I heard about this because some of my blogger friends went last year and I said YOLO and booked my travel. Gone 2 Ghana booked everything: my flights, hotel, group transportation, activities, food, etc. All I did was pay my money and show up...lol. There were parts of the trip I would tweak had I done it on my own, but since planning trips is not my favorite thing, this was a good option for me.
What is the Year of Return? 2019 marked 400 years since the first enslaved Africans were taken from West Africa to the US. There was a call for those descendants to return "home" in 2019. This is one of the reasons why you saw so many of your fave Black celebrities and influencers in Ghana this December.

Ghanaians are the most friendly and honest people on earth. That's the only country I go to on vacations. I took my lovely wife there back in 2007 for her first time when we were both in college and dating. Since then she has been there many times more than even Ghanians I know living in the NY/NJ area. The country is very peaceful and when my daughter was 3 years old I took her there for 6 months. She loved it and was pissed that we came back the time she had started picking up how to speak the local language. That's the country I want to retire, die and be buried at. I love Ghana.

Lemme recommend places to visit in Ghana.
Lou moon resort (located at axim in the western region of Ghana ) it's literally heaven on Earth perfect for a birthday get away Paradise.
But if you want to stay in Accra best hotels are the kempinski, Marriott hotel, the mœvenpick, holiday inn etc. There are also Airbnb options and apartments for rent (check out the gallery apartments or kwarleyz)
For night life skybar, twist club, bloombar, lunar roof top, club onyx etc.
For dining :living room(chopbar), Coco lounge, papaye(Ghanaian style fried rice) ,azmeera(buffet style) etc.
Adventure : legon botanical gardens, treasure island ada, mole national park(elephants) ,Shai hills safari etc.
Shopping :Accra mall, achimota mall, west hills Mall ,marina mall, Oxford streets mall, junction mall, A&c mall etc.🤣🤣 Basically Accra is the Shanghai of africa so many malls .
Also waterfalls: boti falls, wli falls , kintampo falls etc.
And there are lots of mountains and forest reserves to hike .
Bare in mind that Ghana has 16 regions and each one of them comes with it's own adventure .

My opinion - I think the best way to enjoy Gh the most is to come with your Ghanaian friends in diaspora, if possible. You didn't enjoy night life all because you were controlled by your Travel Group Organizers. Nightlife in Ghana is TDB (Till Day Break) so we come out after Midnight till 5 or 6am. Besides you can move from club to club and find where you really want to enjoy. JFK - ACCRA with Delta is about 10hrs and is better than connection flights

I have a good friend that lives in Ghana, so I'll be latching on to her more on my next trip there. We did the direct flight to Ghana, and I could not have done the flight you all did. I'm pretty easy going on trips, and I try to go with the flow...oh that's another thing...I WILL NOT travel with the friend I did again. But you see how they do-they separate us in slavery and then make it look like home is nothing but flies and famine. All of it a plan.
