FEPI - REVEALING the BEST High Income ETF for A.I Momentum (vs JEPQ)

  • A few days ago I made a series of videos on a portfolio that I think will be perfect for today's economic environment, one that can allow investors to capitalize on the insane AI momentum while also mitigating their risk exposure incase of a potential recession.
I personally feel this A.I trend will continue for quite some time.
but given that so many of these big name tech stocks have been rallying almost Non-Stop since 2023, jumping into a Tech focus ETFs like the NASDAQ 100 can be risky.
So in order to provide a more risk-averse exposure to these stocks, my alternative was j e p q, which is the JP Morgan NASDAQ Equity premium income ETF. This ETF uses covered calls on the NASDAQ 100 providing a 9% dividend yield, while also minimizing the volatility of the QQQ by almost 50%.
But of course there are many other options out there that can give investors exposure to big Tech while also generating high levels of income.
And this brings me to FEPI, which is the Rex fang innovation Equity premium income ETF.
In this video i compare JEPQ and FEPI to try and determine which ETF is the superior alternative!

My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimization. Large changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. But in general, ETF or not, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I want to invest about $60k but I'm not so confident about my abilities yet.

I have greatly grown more than 45% this year already, though my FA has advised we diversify going forward. But safe to say a growing market does not always mean that the economy is smooth-sailing, but yeah, we can as well enjoy while it lasts.

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown

Investors don't understand the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

Great video and explanation of FEPI. I do own some FEPI but it isn't a fund I want to have too much of, basically keep it under 5% of the total portfolio. Adding FEPI is like adding some Carolina Reaper hot sauce to an otherwise boring dish.

It's been dumping and pumping in this range for ages! It's technically just going sideways, sideways means generally stagnant. More emphasis should be put into day trading, as it less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. Trading has been going smooth for me as I managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Your explanation is clear and practical. Nevertheless, the market can undergo manipulation in various ways. While I initially grasped trading crypto assets, my technical analysis skills were a limiting factor. This changed when I came across Leah Foster Alderman's strategy. Day trading deserves increased attention, given its resilience to the market's unpredictable nature.

Your question in the video is 100% correct and yet at the same time is what makes FEPI different from 99% of all these high yield plays, which is they buy a % of the stocks they run options on.
This is why it has little erosion, and yet, like you said in a major down turn, it would probably suffer greatly.

Her point is a good size downturn and I agree with her. JEpQ runs more of a traditional stable fund and buys way more shares than FEPI and yet FEPI is nothing like the other high yeilds as it buy REAL shares which gives it a layer of safety, but not the level of JEPQ

FEPI has kicked out about $1.15 DIV since october 2023 WHILE growing from $50 to $56. IF sustained a 50K investment is growing while providing: almost 15K a year in DIVS.
I actually got in, in January 2024.
WHEN AIPI came out almost 2 months a go i went in fast and hard: the first DIV will be at the end of this month. my estimate is that it will be much more than FEPI hence the AI exposure.
    like $1.5 or more?
AIPI today is at the same price (about) in less than 2 months than FEPI from October.
will be interesting to see at the end of the month it's DIV hence AI based.

she mentioned TSLY: it has beena rollercoaster, but so have others.
she mentioned YM not being diversified. not completely accurate. YMAG (7 funds) and YMAX (like 17 or 18 funds).
I did a math basic: TSLY started in januuary 2023. 19 DIV payments of (about) $24. like all YM it started at $20 per share. $17 now. So: that is 41K in total.
$17 current share price + 24K in DIVS. though IF you had 1000 shares before the split I think you got 500 at the new price. so that would affect the DIV income from april forward. by some but not overwhelming.
double you money in less than 2yrs (19 months).
If anyone can advise IF my math is off. i think not. just add up the 19 months of DIVS and then the current share price?
i know it split in april of this year but that does not, i do not see-skewing the nubmers?
