- In this video, I will be going through some of the best investments to help prepare your portfolio for an upcoming recession.
Right now, with unemployment rates growing, accompanied with dropping retail sales, and slowing GDP growth, people are starting to price in a growing probability of a recession.
But for now the markets just keep going up and up
And that is all thanks to the AI movement, and interest rate cut hopes.
Now I personally feel this trend will continue but I've always said that if you're an investor that's trying to capitalize on this growth you have to pay close attention to your risk exposure.
And that's why diversification is typically known as the number one way for investors to mitigate their risk.
But diversification doesn't matter in a portfolio that is too concentrated.
And in my opinion, you have to pair diversification with something else.
One of the strongest ways I think investors can protect themselves from a coming recession is to maximize portfolio income.
In this video I go over a 3 ETF portfolio that can balance the A.I momentum and a potential Recession risk PERFECTLY!

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $70K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.
impressive gains! how can I get your advisor please, if you dont mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now
Carol Vivian Constable is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.
I've been purchasing stocks since the beginning of the year, but nothing has changed. However, I've been reading articles about people who are still in the same market who have made over $350,000 in just a few months. What am I doing incorrectly?
The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
Very true , I diversified my $400K portfolio across multiple market with the aid of an investment advisor, I have been able to generate over $900k in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds in few months.
Talking about a financial market specialist, do you consider anyone worthy of recommendations? I have about 100k to test the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount... Thanks
My CFA ’ANGELA LYNN SCHILLING’ , a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll email her and hope to get in touch soon.
Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $560K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategie;s ... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. hence I will suggest you get yourself a financial-Advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist. Apple, Merck, General Dynamics, Cheniere Energy and Marriott International are prime candidates.
Right, I've been in constant touch with a fiinancial-analyst since covid . You know these days it's really easy to buy into trending stock`s, but the task is determining when to buy or sell .
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
My CFA, Annette Christine Conte , is a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.
I'd suggest you discuss with a proper advisor, particularly if you're new at investing or facing uncertainty. I personally have over 180 companies in my portfolio, so if few companies fail, I still have others that can hold me up.
If you lack market knowledge, your best bet is to seek advice or support from a consultant or investing coach. Contacting a consultant may sound simple, but it's how I've managed to stay afloat in the market and increase my portfolio to roughly 60% early this year. It is, in my opinion, the best way to get started in the industry right now.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?v
'LUCIA ALICIA CRUZ’ is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..
I appreciate this share. I set up a call with her and I am keen on getting to talk to her particularly. Lady looks really great though even with the exams and other stuff.
With inflation and market fluctuations it’s better to stick with more stable investment unless you have a solid backup plan and can afford potential losses
Every month I try to allocate a portion of my income into high yield investments. But I’m curious, how feasible is it to make my yearly salary in just one month without jeopardizing my portfolio
I tried something similar last year and ended up losing a significant amount of my portfolio
My portfolio took a hit when I attempted aggressive trading strategies. Now I’m more conservative, focusing on long term growth and capital preservation
you’re not doing anything wrong, the problem is that you don’t have the knowledge needed to succeed in a challenging market. Only high qualified professionals who had experienced the 2008 financial crisis could help to earn a high in these challenging conditions
Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I've been with NELSON MAYNARD FISHER for the last five years or so, and his returns have been pretty much amazing
She’s such a breath of fresh air in the financial influencer space!
*Having multiple streams of income is a game-changer for stability. Relying solely on a job may not provide enough financial security due to high rates of tax, it is important to explore additional investment opportunities to surpass one"s expectation*
To be honest, investing correctly today can save you a whole lot of stress in the near future
The first step in every successful investment is to establish your goals and risk tolerance, a task best undertaken with the assistance of financial advisor.
I remain eternally grateful to Judy Arianna for her efforts that got me to this point, finally payed off my mortage and all my debts, what more could I"ve asked for. She changed my life
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?"
Judy Arianna. understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her siignals are top notch
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist
I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started investing. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders
Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service? Seems you've figured it all out.
My CFA ’ANGELA LYNN SCHILLING’ , a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.

How do you think SVOL and TIME would do in a bear market/ recession?
Brilliant minds think alike 😂😂😂you exactly right covered call etfs are a great way capture volatility and downside perfection 🎯🎯🎯
ALready own the 2 JP morgan ETFs. I'm thinking that DGRO wud be a better pick for the 3rd. That's just me. lol
Maybe ur best vid to date. Own JEPI & JEPQ. Will look at TLT. Thx for the insight. Cheers
Thank you very much! ☺️
She does not own any of those ETF's anymore. Did you know that?
What would be good allocation percentages while keeping a decent percentage in like VOO and growth ETFs?
Another plus is all three JEPI, JEPQ & TLTW pay monthly dividends which reinvested will multiply faster.
Nicely done. I own all 3 TLT, JEPI and JEPQ in my long term dividend portfolio and I do sell calls on my TLT ETF 👍…but the majority of my investments is in individual growth dividend stocks and I run a separate wheel options strategy.
I feel like the latter is the important part. CZcams finshills just like what they are paid to. There's no mention of SVOL in this when topically it should be here.....and was just in a previous vid. I would never in a million years trust TLT over just buying my own bonds directly from the government and even then only if they beat money market/hysa interest (so never because I wasn't alive to invest in the 80s at 18%!!!). The risk of secondary bond market is never worth your own name on the bond and holding to term. Yes there are faster horses but quit trying to force a bond into a horse shape - just go buy fucking bitcoin and blow all of these combined out of the water with a fraction of the time frame and risk.
JEPQ is a banger. I’ve had it for a year now… and it’s been growing slowly but surely, and the monthly dividend is always fun to watch….. I wish I would have grabbed another 150 shares a year ago. Now JEPI is all over the place. Hmmmmm. TLTW is down for the last two years.
Viktoriya, do you make videos for people living in Canada, too?
What are your recommendation in this same issue with high yield monthly dividend payout?
I like to sell puts to buy my TLT shares and then sell laddered OTM calls so I can participate in more of the upside when rates get cut. I also own a boat load of JEPI and JEPQ !!!
Yes!! Funny I initially had that in the script, to sell puts before buying TLT to capitalize on added premium, but decided to cut it because it was too long
What percentage weights of each jepi/jepq and tlt would be optimal?
I'm on Team DIVO, this year. 😉
DIVO is another great choice! It's pretty similar to JEPI, but it's yield is half as much and prioritizes capital appreciation.
Since I will be retiring soon and looking to invest in monthly dividend stocks, and I am wanting to take out all or most of the dividends, can you come up with like the best 5 to 7 stocks or ETF's that would be best.
Brian
VOO for growth and BIL for treasury
Before JEPQ became the hot, sought-after dividend payer, QYLD was the hot hitter. As QYLD flaws became known, it fell, fast, and is still falling. When JEPQ owners start to bail, be prepared to move fast.
Sold index funds and went balls deep in FEPI, AIPI, JEPQ, QDTE
I’m really liking QDTE and XDTE, adding weekly. Also have FEPI and AIPI
Are you going to consider XDTE?
Are there any equivalents to these ETFs which Re. Ased in jurisdictions which don't charge withholding tax (such as the UK or Ireland). For international investors US withholding tax is a problem.
Im from India ciuld you please suggest few investments to face upcoming recession please??
Jepq accumulation time was in 2023....jepi failing to keep up with sp500 YTD returns....jepi might be subject to change tho but let's see.
Why not SVOL for the upcoming recession? I thought you liked SVOL.
She just likes what she's paid to advertise. If you want to make actual money investing you don't buy etfs or indexes that you do not own nor control what goes in the sausage. Buy individual picks, options them and do the work yourself for 5-10x the return. I'm making 40% roi on my "income" portfolio and only one of the fucking stocks even has a dividend which I just use to buy more bitcoin. My most profitable has done nothing but go down and right and I haven't even cashed in puts on it, I've sold and wheeled into it and the puts will be for exiting it (use spot loss to cancel gain of put) - and then you guessed it - more bitcoin/kaspa
I initially had SVOL in the script, as a substitute for JEPI, but there's a bit more to talk about, especially if we approach a recession as the added volatility risk is there, something that JEPI doesn't suffer from. Plus the managers may adjust their holdings to allocate a larger percentage to aggh, so they can capitalize on rate cuts as well which is great, but overall I need to cover those details so it's not overlooked, hence I'll be making a separate video for it.
Good recommendations but I have no interest in buying or learning how to trade options.
I got into jepi and jepq in late March, early April, and so far, JEPQ has been doing Great, and JEPI has been Awful. ... also SCHD has been awful. SVOL has been maintaining it's principle while providing great dividends. And finally, TQQQ👍 has been outperforming them all.
Schd is doing exactly what is was designed to do
@nancyelliott8007 Yes, I know. It will do better when interest rates are lower. Much lower.😂
$100k and you divide by 4 products what's your avg yearly percentage return on dividends. If the market tank/recession what happens to the value of the 100k? Goes up in value or down and what happens to dividend percent.
Follow up TLTW 16 percent dividend what happens now if the economy tanks and market? $100k investment goes down and what about the dividend yield?
You stated that dividend yield can only go up if the stock price falls. That is incorrect, as yield can go up with a dividend increase.
How do you check if an ETF suffers from NAV erosion ?
I look at the Yield On Cost chart. If the chart is trending in an upward direction from right to left, then the ETF suffers from nav depletion. My rule of thumb is to find dividend ETFs that have either flat yield on cost charts or downward trending yield on cost. And remember you have to look at it from right to left. You can find YOC charts on seeking Alpha! Hope that helped! 😊 If you do want to sign up, you can use my link to get a 20% discount (link in the description)
You can’t diversify away from systemic risk. When markets decline, being in the market is hazardous to your portfolio.
I had the thought that covered call etfs are bad for young investors like me. Can someone explain this please
i am a teen still with 15% in dividen etfs schd and dgro. IS it a good idea to move them to these for now?
If in a taxable brokerage account you will have capital gains. You are most likely going to be in the 10% or 12% US federal tax bracket. If you hold stocks or ETFs for 12 months or longer you will owe zero in federal income; if a state that has an income tax you will pay ordinary income taxes
Why dont you actually show us your portfolio, you are always changing strategies and give us old info
This channel is for entertainment. Not serious investment guidance. Don’t confuse the two.
Unemployment is low
The wy she switches ETFs she must hold over 2000 different ETFs
@@rodric3005or she’s a liar because her channel is for entertainment purposes only
She doesn't own them ,she advertised them , there's a difference
Yeah precious metals
20,000 shares of TLT.
I would put SPYI instead of JEPI
100000%
@@shaneomack5018 I am actually going to sell out of JEPI and buy more JEPQ and SPYI
Slight problem in my opinion, spyi and jepq are too heavy in growth and tech, your not getting the diversification to balance jepq, plus spyi has not proven its ability to genuinely mitigate downside risk through income generation compared to spy (it's underlying holding). Let me know what you think
Viktoriya, you change your portfolio more than I change my underwear!
Dividends are not free! They’re just the company giving some of its cash to investors which makes the company stock drop an amount equal to the dividend. It’s not that different from an investor just selling a small stake of their own shares.
What about TQQQ
Either Viktoria has 65 different portfolios or she trades them every day!! 😂
How does this trading stuff work? I'm really interested but I just don't know how it go about it. I heard people really make it huge trading..
Get yourself someone like Stacey Macken who understands the market very well and is also a professional in placing trades. That's the key
I made a lot from last week, a vision of the effective signals alone assured me of the turnovers. all thanks to Stacey Macken .
Stacey's understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her signals are top notch .
Wow! Kind of in shock you mentioned expert, Stacey Macken. What a coincidence!!
One of the finest portfolio managers in the field. She's widely recognized; you should take a look at her work
How about schd?
You said you and your boyfriend sold off all of your holdings in the market, you sold off all of your ETF's if I understood correctly. But you are still giving advice on investing and investment products? Why would I even consider investment products and strategies that you, yourself are NOT invested in? Nobody should unless their daft. If I misunderstood something, please let me and others know. Thank you.
IF RECCESSION HIT JEPI AND JEPQ WILL GO DOWN
There will be no recession

Sure, the investment-advisor that guides me is..
Mrs Kathy lien
😱Sounds familiar, I have heard her name on several occasions.. and both her success stories in the wall Street journal!
Her services is the best, I got a brand new Lambo last week and paid off my mortgage loan thanks to her wonderful services!
I think your content is pretty good, but to claim that you're not offering financial advice is clearly nonsense. You're putting yourself at risk of fines from the Canadian government.
I suspect that just like the U.S., any illegality would hinge on charging money for such advice. It’s not illegal to share one’s opinions. This is no different than getting stock tips from your barber.
F$%ck google algorithm!
Clickbait!!
Despite all the financial struggles I and my family faced, everything is finally falling into place! $47,000 weekly profit and riches I'll always praise the Lord
Hello 👋 How are you earning such weekly? I was born a Christian, and sometimes I feel down on myself because of low finances, but I still believe in God.
Thanks to my co-worker(Alex) who suggested mrs *Elizabeth Regina nelsen*
Her top notch guidance and expertise on

No doubt Elizabeth Regina. Nelsen Trading services are undoubtedly excellent.
I'm really interested, does she work with clients outside the USA, I'm from France?
Come on…. a recession? 😂😂
Nah.
GET TO THE POINT!...SMH
Why don’t you stick with Canadas issue. You know nothing about the USA. There will be no recession this year. I am so sorry your channel doesn’t grow.
I want to be poor. I got tired of being rich.
