What I appreciate about you guys is that you are so down to earth and real and not flaky about horses. I am retired from horses because of health issues but I get my fix by watching what y’all post. My husband once told me about a guy who was having ego problems, and I told him that what that guy needed to do was put on a pair of bib overalls and clean all the stalls in a stable. It’s good for what ails you, very zen in its own way.

I don't know about that, they literally say in the video that they never had to do the normal chores at the stables before because someone always did it for them haha
I know they're busy etc so it's understandable (it's not a dig at them) but they also have someone who helps at their house.
@@CharbifiedI thought they were saying they haven't had to do any of the work at the rental stable. I've seen them mucking out at their place. But I don't get to see a lot of their videos so didn't know they had someone helping at their place.
@@Charbified I think you misheard what they said. The rental stables that they are taking on were previously run by the owner, so they didn't need to do any work there because she and her staff did all that, but they have always done the chores in the stables for the horses they keep at their own home.
@@paulrobertson7650 What do you think is not real about them? They tell it like it is, they don't hide anything. Did you mishear what they said about not needing to do the chores at the rental stables, like @Charbified did?

Idea: If you guys dont fill up all the boxes with new horses, why not break the walls in between two boxes and have them double in size? 😊
They dont own it, so i doubt they will be able to do renovations.

When you say that everything will change for you in a couple of months, I find myself hoping that you don't mean you will be selling your beautiful home. Watching you bring your property to life has been such a thrill ride! I think many of your fans may actually feel an attachment to it. But moving the chickens, painting the stables, all the gorgeous upgrades to the house... sounds like you might be putting it on the market soon. Still, you two are nothing if not dynamic, so I am sure the next chapter will be even more exciting. Good luck and congratulations!
Yess I agree, IF they're selling the property and moving, it would be sad since the place is so dreamy, but I'm sure the next home would be equally if not more beautiful project
Their house and property are beautiful; I don't think they'd move to the busy road where the stables are located. It looks like they live only minutes away based on videos where they drive to the stables from their house. Once they are fully staffed, they won't need to do all the morning chores themselves. In the video, Matt said the people they have working for them at home will also help at the new stables.

It is so awesome that y'all recognize the importance of horses having time to be horses out in the pastures (paddocks) amongst other equines. That's the surest way to have happy, healthy horses! You rock!
Okay, renting the place to find out if it suits you, marriage, selling the own property and buying the rental. That's what I see happening in the future!

I love your videos! You both are sooo good with horses, such a joy to watch. Congrats on the new stable and good luck with it. In America we do use a tractor to pull the manure wagon in the aisle way going from stall to stall, makes it pretty easy

Watching this vlog brought back so many memories for the days when I taught riding in the summers in NC at a camp for emotionally disturbed children. The morning routine was pleasant for me also. Each and every wonderful smell related to horses - I could smell them all when I watched this vlog. From mucking to brushing -I ❤ it all. Thank you for bringing back sweet memories from over 50 yrs. ago.
