- Episode #137: Two Bald Guys Eat Stuff and Talk About It
What's the best chili you can buy in a can? The Two Bald Guys pop the top and scoop out 9 different brands in a blind taste test to find out. See if you agree with their final rankings... - Komedie
I was done when I found out you were doing it out of the can
If any of them tasted good straight out of the can, imagine how good they'll be warm. Now, off to find Ray's Chili.
Ray's is from Illinois and there are two different Ray's brands because of a family food. I liked it when I tried it years ago.
WHY EAT COLD!?
Because they are Hobo's... haha
@@ForgetUvery well-dressed hobos I might add 😂
White people tings
Try Dennison's
What are you, Hobo's? Who eats it straight from a can? It needs to be heated guys, c'mon.
I do so shut up 😑
@@MariKurisato no just a fat lazy slob
@Kylen Raul $15?! what a ripoff! I could do it for free if I had the skill inclination
You cannot compare chili out of a can! It must be heated up for a fair comparison.
@ratratrat59
It is fair when they’re trying all of them this way
@@stevebradley7721 No, heat brings out the flavors in foods and they must be compared in the way people will eat them.
@@ratratrat59
They must be compared in the way people will eat them?
Well these two people ate them at room temp.
Some people heat up their canned chili, some people don’t.
Is there a rule that says canned chili must be heated in order to eat it?
@@stevebradley7721 so
Wolf Brand with Beans only has the spice going for it. Not much in the bean and meat departments.
I like wolf chili with nathans hot dogs and Hawaiian sweet hot dog buns for chili dogs. Bomb! I'll have to try rays, great vid 👍
I'll have to try wolf chilli cuz I do Hormel and Nathan's haha
Cheddar cheese and onions?
@@ces_bytheway7856 Haha that too!
Stagg chili is my go to. It may not be available in your area but it is definitely worth a try if you can find it.
I’ve seen it at my grocery store might have to give it a try
Best canned chili hands down
I’m eating some right now hehe
Stagg is so gross. It just tastes of MSG and the "beef" is not even mince, it's reformed globs.
Same here. Stagg has always been my favorite.
I think I've gained about 10 pounds in the past week since discovering you guys...
Sometimes eating great food will do that to you!
I've gained a few inches😅
Yeah.. Dennison's is worth checking out. Yum.
Here in Southern Illinois Ray's is everywhere. It's a great canned Chili, I was sold of Wolf, but tried Ray's again recently and had forgotten how good it is. It's my new go to canned Chili.
I agree I'm from Southern IL as well .. Harrisburg
I’ve never heard of Ray’s. Just ordered some their site. Thanks for including it.
Great! Let us know what you think after you try it!
I assume that you accidentally mislabeled the Wolf Brand which you surely liked best, lol. I find it addictive. God bless the Wolf!!
I LOVE chili in general and I'm OK With canned CHILI - I typically go with Wolf's® - BUT I've never eaten it cold, and right out of the can!! You guys are tougher than I am!!😀
Not complaining... That was pretty thorough. I Like reading all he comments.
Y'all look chill
Better than most food reviews
Wolf brand with beans is my favorite. Add Cheezits to it
Its winter in November 2020 now & I'm watching this video👍
Once you go Stagg…you’re in the bagg! I really couldn’t think of a rhyme.
What's the Best Chili in a Can? That's easy, there is none. I always have to doctor them up at cookouts to make them somewhat edible even on hotdogs, if I don't have time to make my own.
You know you have to stir up the chili because the beans float to the top and that's not a joke
I can't find Ray's in any of my local stores, but I did get a can of the Steak 'N Shake and you guys were right. It was very good.
is that cook recipe, easy to find. Thanks. Love your reviews.
Why would you eat Chili out of the can? Why eat Cold? I agree with bmci007
If it's good cold, then it will be even better hot, amirite?
sickening
Didn't Chilli Man get the exact same score as Steak n Shake - so two 2nd place finishers??
Agree on Ray's it is phenomenal chili/chilli (?) but Stagg is very good as well. I ordered directly from Ray's and a case of chilli arrived in pristine condition with bubble wrap around and in between every can!
You didn’t talk about Dennisons chunky chilly here in Southern California
No “Nally’s Walla Walla Onion” chili anywhere on list?! Whhaatt?!
Wolf Brand is supposed to be the oldest, continuously sold, canned chili brand, in America.
I just went to the website, I didn't see anything about the contest winning chili. There were only 2 chili recipes that I saw.
Wolf chili is my go to
1: you can't tell how chilly really taste let you heat it up. 2: Stagg no beans chili is the best I've ever had from a can. 3: where can I find wolf chili? I'm in Cali unicornia.
Wolf is a texas only brand
@@redeye6560 it branched out of Texas a bit, but still sold in only surrounding states like Oklahoma Louisiana and Arkansas
@@car2911, Wolf is available in pretty much every state in the union. Walmart’s everywhere carry it.
@@xxlasher216xx oh I didn't know that, guess I could of Google search it but I was too lazy, thanks
you guys forgot Denison’s chili.
Wait a second, you guys are not using a fresh spoon each time?
Chili is definitely one of my soups
I just had a can of Armour and it was fantastic. I think I prefer it to Hormel and Wolf Brand.
It's slightly better than Hormel, but leagues away from Wolf Brand or Stagg.
It's not a true taste test unless you eat it heat it up and stir it up
Did you shake the cans so the heavier parts hadn't settled to the bottom?
Man I wish you guys would make more videos I love the show
Stagg is my favorite. My brother inlaw loves nalleys. He wasn't able to find it in Texas so my mom would have to mail it to him in a care package.
Stagg is my favourite as well, and up here in Canada it is usually the brand with the most amount of variety available. I can get 4 different flavours of Stagg, but every other chili brands just sell plain.
Yall are TRIPPIN!!! 🤣
Stagg is VILE in my opinion, shit tastes like sweet Bush's baked beans mixed with fake beef.
Wolf and Hormel for me (from what I've tried)
@@franktruth9639 stagg is also my favorite. It’s the sauce lol
i would have liked the chili heated up prior to testing... huge diff on decision...
What can you add to the can chilli to make it better
The amount of double dipping in this video, I can’t even!
We don't find these brands at Walmart of Kroger where America does it's grocery shopping. Where did bald guys find them?
I like wolf's brand chilli and I also use it on hot dogs when I make chilli cheese dogs, it's kinda spicy but just a little bit but if you like your chilli very spicy canned or homemade use the Carolina reaper pepper the world's hottest pepper
Steak and shake chilli is also oily and running even hot.... it's nasty
My favorite too for some reason I cant find it here anymore.
I want taste buds left in my mouth after eating chili!
No Carolina reaper spice for me!
Skyline chili in a can or in the freezer section - 😋 yum
Sorry but I didn't like Skyline at all.
@@robertsmith7849 I’m from Cincinnati so I grew up on it. Some people like it some don’t. I also love Gold-star and empress chili. When I moved to Indiana no one never heard of skyline so luckily they soled it at Walmart because my kids love it!
Wolf brand chili in a can is pretty good 👍
@@angelamartin2811 Come up to Detroit sometime and try National Coney Island chili.
No Dennison's out that way?
Any canned chili that can turn a white plastic spoon Yellow, is alright by my standards.
Cool tablecloth shirt 👕

If Ray's isn't in a store near you, you can order it on-line. The owners are friends of mine and would welcome your business. It's like buying local for us in Decatur IL - but it's available across the Midwesr. Look for the distinctive bright orange can. Original or a Reduced Fat version.
Stagg is LITERALLY the best though. I PROMISE YOU IT IS!!
That depends entirely on what variety of Stagg you get. The Stagg that is sold at Costco is very good.
@@richardgray8593 really? I haven't had a bad batch yet, interesting. Hope I don't ever get a gross one
@@lmjesuschrist7450 Not a batch, but a style or variety. At Costco they sell Stagg Steakhouse Reserve, and that is very good. I have tried other "flavors" of Stagg chili and they just don't come close to the Steakhouse Reserve.
@@richardgray8593 interesting, I've never had the reserve. I'm super down to try it tho. Stagg is well worth the money and I don't feel like I'm eating straight processed junk as much as most other chili's. Thanks for letting me know 😊
Thanks for ths video, would be cool if they were tested hot.
Where they sell Rays?! Love me a can of chili. Especially love when I sweat in my sleep and in the sheets. Poop a bit when I fart I just love chili!
Doing The Video Without Multiple Spoons What Tha Gross
They might as well be making out
Cambells my favorite especially the steak version
You guys didn’t pick up any Woodward Ave Chili. But that’s ok. You can only find it in Michigan. www.woodwardchili.com
I mix Woodward Ave Chili and Skyline 50/50. Skyline btr flavor but watery. Woodward Ave thicker and meaty-er and btr price.
Where’s Cattle Drive chili with beans ?? Had a can only added 1 home grown tomato ,( picked today ) and pinch of cayenne pepper., actually it had ground beef and just enough beans … 9/12/21…. 👍
Curly and Larry. Guess that makes me Moe. 😂
Good review. I'd agree with most of the rankings, except Wolf brand chili. Wolf chili is my favorite canned chili by far
Yes. Wolf is the best by far of canned chili that I've had. Hormel vegetarian chili with beans is surprisingly good also.
Stay clear of Wolf chili. Not for humans to eat. We feed that one to the dogs.
Everybody Don’t Like Spicy Chili/Food… I Never Seen People Eat Cold Chili 😂 I Can’t Do It I’ll Have Problems I Jus Sub
I'd give 1 or 2 out of 10 to the whole group.
I'm not a big fan of chili in a can meat. I got from a can of Campbell's chili about 16 years ago and I still get ill just thinking about it.
Need to try can wendys chili
Man i miss watching you guys 😕
Chili experts do not waste their time on canned chili. I could only watch this for a short time.
Why would you eat chili cold ?
Hormel Chili with Beans. Yum. I really have fun watching you guys.
What about Stagg and Cattle Drive Gold?
R.f.
Cattle drive gold is actually good., added 1 home grown tomato and pinch of cayenne pepper powder ., it actually had ground beef and right amount of beans … I mean if the name is Cattle Drive ,. U know it’s good … 👍🐄🐄🐄
BEST CHILI NON OF THE ABOVE CATTLE DRIVE IS THE BEST BUY IT AT COSTCO ??
Hmmm....no Gebharts...Denison or Stagg?
What monster eats chili from a can cold?
I love my Hormel! I always take a few cans back to Germany! ;-)
I frequently eat chili straight outta the can, cold, 'cause that's just how lazy I am.
if it has beans i dont want it
Stagg canned chili is the best.
I looked up ingredients for Ray's Chili, and according to Ray's, there is beef seasoning, not beef in the chili!!!
Look more closely - there's a comma between Beef and Seasoning. It is spaced oddly on the can but there's Beef, and then Seasoning.
@@jemilo65 Thanks for the clarification... I guess my eyes are getting old...
I'm sure you're a chili lover as well or you wouldn't be watching funny videos from these guys. My eyes are making things quite hard to read as well my friend. Seriously try the Ray's you'll like it.
it is mixed up eating them out of the can. they are concentrating the fat and the taste at the top surely.
Real chili has no tomatoes. In fact good Texas chili has no beans either -- just cubed beef and spices.
You've gotta try amys spicy chili
That vegan crap? You've gotta be kiddin'.
@@richardgray8593 have you tried it?
@@andrewh7596 I have tried Amy's chili of some sort, I don't know if it was the particular one you are talking about.
@@andrewh7596 I have... It was good. Not great, but still surprised me. Amy's does their best considering they start every race by chaining a huge boulder to their own leg. Metaphorically speaking.
Stagg chilli
Stagg chili is the best😅
Was gonna buy Rays but then I saw that one can has 3 grams of trans fat. I can't even remember the last time I saw trans fat on ANYTHING high enough to require reporting.
Is that a play on words?
tries it cold, wtf

U 2 are pure Chinese oriental eating uncooked chilli oot the can ur gonna huv some chilled/fiery rings after that.
Vietti whoops them all
Aldi has the best
Taco Soup is better than Chili!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hormel chili no beans is the best
I'd gotten food poisoning from Campbell's chili and ever since I think canned chili is something good to avoid.
The only way that's likely to happen is if you were eating out a damaged can.
What did you say it came straight out of your pants
Big dude ALWAYS agrees with the other dude... Vevy annoying
68 comments.....lemme make that to 69 😏
Is that a Midwestern thing, saying "into it" instead of in it and "whenever" instead of when? It's ultra annoying.
Nalley is way better than any of this slop.
Hormel chili sucks.
Rays is abominable
too much lip smacking
Do you say that to all the guys?
