@man_imbored171 rust damages the interior surface of the can, giving more cracks and crevices for bacteria to grow. It also means the can integrity may be compromised, which means more chances for bacteria. It's a risk factor thing.
Also some metals used on can contains lead so😊

wow, hard to believe that wolf brand chili was 79 cents in the 70s, considering not even 10 years ago you could still get it for $1 at walmart (with beans. Without beans was $1.25).
Makes me question how they're able to raise the price at what would be a major loss compared to inflation. Was it way overpriced before, or have the ingredients become ethically more dubious?
And now a can is about 2.49. My kroger has them on sale for 1.99 right now lol

This show makes me question my sanity, as I casually sit here eating my breakfast I look back on a time when seeing anything remotely disgusting I ran in fear. But now through the power of this show I sit and eat my Taco Bell breakfast without even a hint of gagging, I'm not sure whether to thank you or question my entire life but here we are. The term "fig" originally meant almost any dried fruit. "Figgy" pudding (UK Christmas pudding today) generally has raisin, not figs.
And it's barely edible even today

We made Figgy Pudding for Christmas a few years ago. It's like a super dense, moist cake. It has flavors of fig, cinnamon, nutmeg. Sort of a fruit cake without all the fruit? We doused it with brandy, set it on fire and ate it with vanilla ice cream as I wasn't certain the kind of cream they used. It was fire and a great family memory 😄
I love the continuous call back to the Boggs smell from his chocolate bar. It still has a little bit of Wade Boggsish smell going on. Is Boggs still number 1 after everything you’ve tried so far?
