One of the best game trailers I think I've ever seen, totally changed my view of the game from being another shoot em up clone to absolutely gripping me on the different layers of the story, and the game's ambiance- the game was brilliantly sold here.
That doesn't mean to say the execution of it will be on point to make it an engaging experience and story, but that trailer- it started slow, and then they just kept layering awesome on awesome!
I saw this trailer and thought : That's it ! I'm buying a new PC.

Actually, the graphics are around the same or slightly better. The minimum requirements haven't changed at all, so that indicates the graphics are around the same.

does crysis 2 have a sanbox editor on the console version?

@diegoboy0929 I doubt it. The sandbox editor isn't like Halo 3/Halo Reach Forge (one of the few editors that actually works well on consoles). It's far too complex to use without a mouse and keyboard.

@adrientetar if you watch the road rage leak they say prophet over the radio, so im guessing he gets renamed or there are multiple characters to play? perhaps he gets renamed to alcatraz cuz he steals the nanosuit 2.0?

Thats because the beta has unfinished textures and what not. This game is probably gonna be around 20 gb in size once released.

@ixonixas because the people alcatraz is fighting want to take the suit for them but then later on you fight with the marines against the aliens

Nomad is killing the C.E.L.L., a merc group sent by the people who made the nanosuit, as they want it back. Nomad just kinda ran off with a billion dollar piece of hardware, and they can't make more.
@eyeam18able I watched it, and I think Prophet gave Alcatraz the suit because the C.E.L.L. were looking for Prophet, and they had his DNA from the suit interface. Just a theory. In any event, the story in this game looks phenominal.

People ask if Crysis can beat all the other games that are coming this year like L.A noire, Battlefield 3, Batman etc. etc. but here is the biggest challenge - Crysis 1 got almost a perfect 10/10 score on almost all the game review sites like gamespot etc. when it first came out. People everywhere benchmarked it for its gameplay and graphics, stating that it revolutionised THE ultimate gaming experience. Do you reckon Crysis 2 can live up 2 tat standard? Lets see and find out...
@hanslol it's been said that the 2nd hand games trading industry hurts the developers MORE than piracy anyway because they don't get a penny from the recycling of their product and with people finishing games within days/weeks and trading them in, others benefit by getting "new" games for less while the developer loses out

@NinjaMuzz There will be if crysis 2 makes enough money...The ending almost demands a sequel but according to cevat yerli it will only happen if the sales exceed cryteks expectations which were pretty high to begin with...but i truly hope there will be a sequel...Crysis 1 & 2 are both brilliant in different ways...and i think its sad how people are uncapable of giving crysis 2 a chance just cuase crytek took a shot to earn some more money when they proted it to consoles...
i have played the beta on pc too its totally badass BUT my pc is so sucky that i ran it in 9fps so no pre-order FOR NOW until i get an awesome pc

@adrientetar yes, im probably going to be pleasently surprised, but i just have a nagging feeling that this is going to be an FPS version of prototype from the armies stand point :P (jokes)
@kullo666666 wth man a newer version of the graphics api doesn't automatically make the game better
it needs new code to use these features and that costs time for the small percentage of gamers that play on pc and the even smaller percentage that actually has a pc capable of running dx11

Played the illegal beta, loved it, and have pre-ordered as a result! This is why you shouldn't leave any platform out of the demo Crytek! (even if you supposedly "plan" to release a PC demo)

Guys why does he kill humans isn't this nano suit guy with the humans? It seems as if he kills aliens and humans im confused :( Is there a link between this game and the first one?
I was a bit iffy about buying this game because the multiplayer demo was rather average. But now. Its on the top of my to-buy list

@OCMOOO it seems alot more scripted/linear than Crysis... more cinematic, kinda like Call Of Duty. The original Crysis felt more freeroaming than this one looks which is why I think this has been geared more towards the console market

@adrientetar sorry i hadnt watche that leak, i guess people think that alcatraz is prophet... hmmm, also wtf is up with all the different stuff in crysis 2, it doesnt even look like a crysis game! even the gauss rifle is an attachement for the sniper rifle! not sure if im actually going to buy this- looks like a bit of a let down :(

@StylishStar88 i'm not sure about that, but surely it should. but the tendency is that sequels do worse than the original, unless it's really well done and you won't miss the original. because if you stray too far, it's a different game. if you keep it too close, it's no different. perhaps battlefield 3 is the only other game i'm expecting, since it really looks as if everything's scripted when literally nothing is. crysis 2 on the other hand is the sequel to a literally tactical FPS.
