Great diagnostic work, so hard to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I worked with a residential contractor doing HVAC for indoor pools. He quoted Dectron only…funny how rich people who can afford an indoor pool would sometimes go wonky over the cost of proper HVAC. One new system we did was actually a complete house renovation because the original indoor pool had poor humidity control causing major structural problems (rusted I beams, rotted joists and studs, not to mention mold) and the house was only 10 years old.
I've been faced with many situations like this, hardware and software. Whenever I have encountered it, I have ended up pulling it all out and starting from scratch. I appreciate your ability to incrementally repair these things, clearly a time-saving move.

I have that toner set. It was a gift. Any of them work fine, really. I have five tone generators, and two pickup wands. That way I can trace three wires at once without a problem.
I use to have the digital fluke toner for networks and hated it, the battery would go dead just being inserted and it had a hard time picking up the signal. I love this analog set. I have another set with the Christmas tree taps so I can use my telephone buttset but analog phones are hardly used anymore
@@HVACRSurvival - I specifically use super heavy duty 9 volts in these systems. They're not much cheaper (if at all), but they don't corrode the living snot out of equipment when they die, and I think they die a bit slower when stored in a vehicle for most of their lives. I have three bricks of 9 volts for this purpose. I think I ordered a bit too much the last time :)

Playing an excerpt of music is not a violation of copyright laws. It would need to be done in such a way that you are not talking over the music, and are trying to benefit from playing the song.
Unfortunately the way CZcams works is that it runs computer pattern matching against the audio in your uploaded video, and if some number of seconds (which they won't tell you) of the audio matches a pattern that someone has claimed copyright to, you get a copyright strike. They have no concept of "fair use" other than their unstated short time limit.
@@lwilton however I did upload this video 12 hours prior to release allowing them plenty of time to analyze it, they don't just okay it immediately. It's checked for things like this in advance. This is something new they started doing in the last year.

NO cable management at all either just zip tie it anywhere like to the tower beacon power leads - create cross talk on the data lines = poor quality WiFi and links. Anyways I call this sort of thing "Visualized Insanity" or "Living Chaos"
Din rails are nice but more money. That box was likely wired at lest in the late 80s early 90s. Not sure the din was here then. But there's still the money issue... People are cheap!

Water evaporates when the relative humidity is less than 100%. Increasing temperature lowers relative humidity while lowering temperature increases relative humidity, it's why we have condensation. If you decreased the temperature in the pool area to 0 degrees the air would not be able to hold any water and no evaporation would occur.
I don't claim to know all there is to know about pools and humidity but here is a link that repeats what I was told by several people that specialize in pools. This was a poor mans way of controlling the humidity levels, Most places don't want to spend $350,000-$450,000 for a full blown Dectron humidity control system like I work on at another location. Too hot and the air will suck water from the pool, too cold and the water that does evaporate (it will still evaporate even if it's 0 degree air temp) will condense on things in the room it shouldn't, which is everything not in the pool. Keeping the two temps close and the air slightly warmer allows the air to absorb moisture and carry it out the exhaust fan or dehumidifier. The hotter the air the more moisture it can hold as you point out. The relative humidity stays lower and helps evaporate water off glass, grout, benches, and electronics (should be sealed but pool water is hard on gaskets in electronics). As a result, keeping makeup air to a minimum and controlling humidity with a nice dehumidifier is the best way to control it as you are only removing the minimum amount of water from the air to keep proper humidity. Bringing in outside air, especially cold outside air rapidly drops the room humidity as the already cold dry outside air warms up and turns into a dry sponge that will suck water from the pool at a rapid rate. Keeping the air warmer and providing dehumidification keeps the relative humidity more stable in the allowed range which DOES over time reduce the total volume of water that evaporates. As HVACR points out, those all in one units are expensive and when some guy with a decal on the truck drives up and says I can use these cheaper units by a factor of 4, people stop thinking rationally.
