- Panning a new spot somewhere on the river today; and man did it come up with lots of nice shiney! Probably our best day just panning on the river. Did really well for only being out for about 3 hours. Thanks again Paddy for helping us find this spot; cant wait to get out here again!

Good work , great adventure and nice gold flakes thanks for sharing.
Fellow local bedrock scratcher. Got skunked yesterday. Micros, gave them back to the river. Got some garnets.
If it's just micros we toss them back so they grow into bigger nuggets for later generations ;) sorry you didn't have much luck. Try the Whiskey Creek side of the Rogue (Christy Crack) about 1/4 mile or so in.
Right on, I’ll have to guess 1.1 😁🤙👊

Enter to win a BUCKET???? Hahaha watch out now fellas.... Seriously tho, this looks hella fun. I wanna go pannin for gold now.
Actually they are pretty bad ass. The dude that won this was super excited. We where even able to get it autographed for him by Dakota Fred. These classifier system cost about $50 and are worth every penny. Thanks for your views and comments.
Rogue? Out by Graves?
We have done a some videos in that area. Check out "Exactly where to find gold in Southern Oregon" aka Christy's Crack
Mr Wayne ànderson Gray
Is this guy Dan Hurds long lost brother. One Dan is enough to hear. lol
Dan Hurd is a real good guy; so i appreciate the compliment!
what permits do I need to pan along the streams. And from what gov't office.? I heard about a guy beach panning north of Gold Beach that was confronted and cited by BLM? FS? He had to do the entire court thing. Heard this at a meeting of Coos Bay prospectors guys a few years ago.
You do not need a permit to recreational gold pan... just stay out of the wild and scenic sections and you're safe. Wild and scenic is pans only
You don't need any permit. State parks are more strict. But BLM is fair game as well as campgrounds and parks. Just don't make a mess. If you dig a 4 foot hole somewhere they will probably give you a hard time.
Where is this spot?
On the Rogue River
Nice Au. My guess 1.35 grams
In the Hells Gate area?
Not this spot no
Where at
On the rogue river
I’ll say about 1.36 ounces.
What river?
Keeping this spot to ourselves. We have other videos that show/tell locations if you'd like.
@@hhprospecting7508 I didn't ask the spot I asked the rive
