I often make things in pairs- like using the same cover for a planner and a journal. I like the idea of being able to showcase the item in use and also recommend a pairing item that would go well with it.
Is it possible to add video in A+ content in lieu of just pics?
I did but it looks like it is not showing in other countries. I'm in South Africa and my A+ content never showed. I did follow the guidelines, so it could not have been rejected. So, I'm quite frustrated.

A+ content quadrupled my sales on one of my bestsellers and tanked the sales of another one...still testing to see what works and what doesn't. However, i cant for the life of me figure out how to make the images less blurry! I've literally tried everything and the software just spits out an ugly version of the A+ content I worked so hard on.

Your video was super helpful! Quick question - can you upload a book trailer or video to A+ content for a low content book? I can't figure out how to do so as the modules don't appear to accept video files. Is there another way?

I would like to ask what happens when the low content journal is approved by amazon it shows live, however, when clicking on the show it o amazon, it states "currently unavailable". How does a print on demand book unavailable? and how do I fix that? Thank you
Thank you Rachel. Your video as always is helpful. I submitted A+ content for a book of mine today. Will be doing the same for all of them.
I created the A+ content for my coloring book the first week Amazon came out with it. At the time, the "look inside" feature was delayed and it was a great way to show what was inside my book! I love it. It allowed me to show specific pages that the Look inside feature did not show (eventually, after a month, the LI feature became available.)
I use it to show specific coloring pages as examples of the various levels of coloring difficulty. Also shown is the coloring wheel page that all my coloring books have.
Although I describe the Coloring Wheel page in my book description, something which no other coloring book has, by giving the customers a real look at that page is very good for promoting my book and because it is in the back of the book, it would never be in the "Look Inside".
Sounds like you're using A+ Content to great effect already! Have you seen many other colouring books using this new feature yet?
@@RachelHarrisonSund After checking the best selling independently published coloring books very few have begun to use the A+ content, I only found one. I do not think it was well advertised, in fact I would not have known about it except I found out about it on Keith Wheeler's youtube.

Standard module would be ok for my books. You will have to create a training series on these modules for your audience to implement.

I am new to KDP but I would like to make a first great impression as a publisher.. Thank you for the insight on the A+ content. I am not much of photographer and still not sure how to go about illustrating the content in each book making it available to the reader and displaying it correctly . My being new to KDP I have more questions then you could shake a stick at. Another concern is SEO . Keywords, Title, Description.. Does it apply the same way as Website Seo ? THX

I am trying to watch all your videos to help me make a start into no-content and low content publishing. However I'm getting a little overwhelmed. Can you please give me a little direction about what order someone who knows nothing about this industry should watch your videos. Do you have a list of the suggested sequence so that the bigger picture steps are in order not just the steps within the video. Does that any sense?
Hi Bronwyn! I don't have a suggested sequence. Have you downloaded my free guide (link the description)? I'd start there and then see what videos on my channel relate to each step of the process outlined in the guide. I hope that helps!
I just want to know how to add more pictures to the standard listing instead of just the amazon default front and back. Like when I see sellers in coloring books that have pictures of every page.

Just start small and keep things simple to start! Each book will give you an opportunity to get a little bit better.

Some great ideas here! I have been using A+ Content, but am really struggling to get the quality right. I’m a graphic designer by trainer so I understand specs and I’m definitely meeting them (although different guides suggest different ones), but it’s so blurry! And no full width image modules like the examples at the beginning of your video. Have you been able to get your A+ Content looking good? Any tips for a frustrated author? 😅😅

Hi Rachel. Thank you so much for all your great videos. They are so helpful and enjoyable. I have created a series of 9 Halloween composition notebooks and have added A+ content. I saw that I am limited to 5 sections. However, I am sure I have seen A+ content with more sections. Are these Amazon sellers? Thanks for clarifying 😀
I'm unsure if those with a Seller account are able to use more than 5 modules; I haven't seen any myself. Maybe someone else here can answer that one!

hello Raquel, I love your videos, they are very good, one question I already created the A+ content and Amazon already approved it, but I don't see it in my publication... how can I solve it...
I noticed that the books used as examples are not self published on Amazon unless I have missed the spiral bound, affordable colour print button. I can't help wondering if my fairly original but basic black and white printed books would suffer by comparison to these example books if I tried to promote them with A+ content. I would LOVE to be able to sell spiral bound via KDP, when are they going to give us that option?
I do A+ for my coloring books but should I do them for my lined journal notebook which are rather simple?
So I understand this correctly, I can upload Module One for my entire Pen Name brand's ASIN books?
Then I can individualized the next modules to fit the individual ASINs books?

How do you create a link in your A+ content to other books in your series, or other books you authored, Can you just copy and paste a link to a book in the text area of the module - or will the ASIN work as a link? Many thanks!

Hi Ginny! When you click the link the guide should appear in your Downloads folder. Did you check there? If it's not there, you can respond to the email and ask support to send you another copy.

have a question. I'm on KDP (first time doing this) and everytime I am trying to get my book up and going it says "your book has 0 pages. It must have atleast 79 pages to fit this spine" where do I fix that at?? I have been trying to fix that since yesterday :(

Why does my journal show "In Stock Soon" when it is a kdp print on demand book? This makes people think it is not available. Is there a way to change this?
▶︎ Hey Melanie, this happens to everyone at some point or other. Don't worry about it, it might appear that way when you look at your book on Amazon, but other people looking at your book will probably see that it is available.
So if publishing a book. Do you load the book to KDP and then save it as a draft. Go to CANVA and prepare your A+ content. That way as soon as your book is live you can immediately place the A+ content to your book?
▶︎ Publish your book first @GREMIC - the A+ content has a separate Approval Process. Once the book's published, then do the A+ :-)

Thank you:) Great video. I am working on my A+ content now. It is a lot but I can see the benefits of it. Rachel can you tell me how Amazon looks at the keywords in A+ content. Do they take it into account at all? And what about Google. Is it worth putting keywords in A+content (not keyword stuffing) to increase the discovery of the book? Thank you:)

I don't know if Amazon crawls this content for keywords-it's my understanding that it doesn't crawl for keywords in the description, so I imagine it won't for A+ Content either. However, Google would be crawling the whole page, so you may want to consider using some of your keywords in this content where it makes sense.
