How do you get these clips with such high quality. Great vid
Thanks! I rip them from CZcams using a CZcams to mp4 converter site. If I can't find them high quality on CZcams then I will usually try and see if they are on a streaming service and then I screen grab a small clip from that on my computer
Fortunately or unfortunately, I haven’t seen many TV shows… like, almost at all, and when I try to watch something, I usually don’t like it and stop after 3 episodes, because I prefer to watch films in this time, they are much higher quality. Someday, however, I have to go for the good stuff, like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Sopranos, I never touched them out of my aversion to TV shows and feared that I might not appreciate them when they are in fact good. This will be my New Year’s resolutions, lol, to actually try getting into TV shows for real.
So, having said all of that, these are my top 5 favourite TV shows of all time…
1. Batman: The Animated Series
2. Justice League Unlimited
3. Justice League
4. The New Batman Adventures
5. Superman: The Animated Series
I’m sorry, don’t look at me like this, this was my childhood ;) And I still love them, even if there’s definitely a guilty pleasure part in it.
I didn't get into television seriously until like 2019ish it's all good. I'd recommend anything on this list
Question about Twin Peaks, and please correct me if I'm wrong:
From what I know, there is 3 entries in the Twin Peaks series.
- The Original Show
- Fire Walk With Me
- The Return
Now from what I understand, Firew walk with me is a prequel to the show, so would I be better off watching that before I watch the original show, then the return after that obviously?
NO! haha
Yes, the Original Series is Season 1 and 2 (1990-1991). 1 being 8 episodes, and 2 being 22 episodes.
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) is a prequel film but in ways it's also a sequel; plus, it basically spoils the first dozen or so episodes of the Original series.
There are deleted/extended scenes from FWWM called "The Missing Pieces" and I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary to watch those, but I would. It's about 1 and a half hours.
And finally, Twin Peaks: The Return (2017) is the revival season, season 3, Showtime limited series, whatever ppl wanna call it that is 18 parts.
Easiest way to remember is to just watch everything in order of when they were released - some ppl just get confused by the prequel aspect of the film. I believe you can watch S1 and 2, along with The Return on Paramount+. FWWM I believe is on HBO Max, but if u don't have access to those, I'd recommend just getting the blu ray box sets - the criterion for FWWM is great, and also includes The Missing Pieces
This is everything I have:
The Entire Mystery (Seasons 1, 2 and FWWM + The Missing Pieces) - a.co/d/8D7xbmC
FWWM + The Missing Pieces - a.co/d/5HU1Xuq
The Return - a.co/d/1AKZl5Y
So really, the first and third sets are the only ones u need
@gavinayotteeye-it1055 thank you so much. I was planning to watch Fire Walk With Me lol and spoil the whole thing for myself 😂😂
I'm in the UK so I don't have HBO Max, but I'll probably be able to buy the DVDs or Blurays for cheap. Saw The Return box set in a charity shop a while ago but never picked it up for some reason.
I'd seen good reviews and stuff like that for the show, then my Mum recommended I watch it, because she watched it when it aired back here in the UK on BBC2.
Great channel BTW!
@gavinayotteeye-it1055 I was out today and found Twin Peaks: Definitive Gold Box Edition (S1 and 2, and U.S. and International versions of the pilot) on DVD for £1. Instantly picked it up and going to watch it soon (rewatching the Sopranos rn so going to start it once I'm done the sopranos).
Should I watch the US or international version of the pilot?
@@callumsmclelland US, not the international

Better Call Saul above Breaking Bad…. Bold choice but I respect it! Love both of them, and I’m also a big fan of The Walking Dead and True Detective.
TD season 1 is my favorite season ever
I would rate the first two places the same way
Have you seen Bojack Horseman? And whats ur Letterboxd
I have not but it's something I'm interested in watching in the near future. @gavinayotte7 for letterboxd
You should check ou The West Wing
No True Detective, no Hannibal🥺
True Detective S1 is actually my favorite season of all time (spoiler alert for a future video), but if I'm counting all three seasons, it's not top 10. Haven't seen Hannibal but heard it's good
@@slobonmyfilmsnob I agree with your opinion on True Detective, S1 is my favourite season of television ever along with all 3 seasons of Hannibal and Mr. Robot. No show could ever match them in terms of depth and complexity IMO. I mean yeah, shows like Breaking Bad and Better call Saul are absolutely flawless and I just love everything about them, but I personally favour the themes explored in those shows I mentioned.
Go watch Hannibal, otherwise you've at a great loss😉
@@VvendigO. I'm in the middle of watching Mr Robot for the first time actually. On S2 E5 and I'm very much enjoying it so far. Heard it only gets better
PS: I also think True Detective S1 could be looked at as a stand alone show, having nothing in common with the following seasons except the title:) and therefore it can be included in your future rankings with the S1 mention.
I'm also on season 2 haha and I put it to a halt but only because I am very busy editing. It's a brilliant show 👌
