I have a 1969 s in awesome condition except some double die places also 1973 d same shape some double dies I was going to try and sell these 2 and if goes alright try to sell some of my others. how come there selling for 40.000 and up on google I had mine appraised it's worth a thousand book value it's opposite side'd and looks pressed twice shortened 1 in the 1971 and the lettering looks double'd also leave a comment please nothing rude

Who would've thought to look for a repunched mint mark on a 1971 D penny? Thanks for the heads up, Christian! Too many errors out there to remember. Cent or Penny? Some people may not know the difference, maybe you can explain in a video and make some sense (not cents) out of correct usage of each term when speaking of this coin which costs more to make than it's worth.

David Z to G scale some nice note is that almost any penny 1989 and before that has a mintmark has an RPM variety, so keep checking those pre 1989 pennies :)

mobilerocker RPM’s can be found on almost any penny up until 1989. In 1990, they started to Incorporate the mintmark with the dies, so any penny 1989 or before has a very good chance at a rpm variety. If you want to know what to look for on them, doubleddie.com or coppercoins.com is a very good place to find specific varieties.
