He wasn’t asking open- ended questions to get the guy to talk about himself and reveal his character. He showed bias from the outset.
Very biased, like he was dead set on calling him a liar no matter what!
Right on and in turn it causes them to not want to answer his questions. He comes across arrogant as well and they can sense that and that definitely isn’t going to work for him. He needs some schooling on interviews.

Love seeing all these interviews by Piers…he’s the best!
Piers, as usual, enters the interview with a pre-conceived bias. He continously interrupts his guest until time runs out, and we are left with more questions than answers. The same strategy that he used with Mo Hijab, Bassem Youssef, and others.

Piers really annoys me because he constantly interrupts; there’s only one interviewer who is worse … Gayle King. 😖🙆🏽🤯🙇🏼♀️🫨
Wow. Not gonna be a popular opinion because I too think the guy is very likely guilty but Piers most certainly did NOT go in there to let the guy tell his side of the story. He did his infamous interrupting and then acting like he's been totally fair with his time. I WANTED to hear what this guy had to say about the crimes and he didn't even let him finish. Cops DO get it wrong. Juries DO get it wrong. Eye witness testimonies have sometimes ended up totally OFF. 90% I think this guy did it but this interview was a sham and not at all fair.
If Piers is gonna use body language as a reason to decide someone's guilt or innocence he better realize that MANY people including innocent people would hold their arms like that in a defensive or self protective manner when being questioned like this.
I agree.
I feel they need to retrial this case with more solid proof of evidence
Trump does it all the time.
The "body language" BS is just more evidence that people are sheeple and trendy.
Yup, eye testimony’s are usual never accurate in crimes like these because our Brian’s start trying to forget about it and hearing buffet story’s and this and that starts to change what we really saw and it always starts off with just little minor details and the longer away it gets the farther from the truth it gets same way with things everyone does a few years back you might remember doing it but you don’t remember everything leading up to it
This had the potential of being a very good interview
I cannot formulate a diagnosis without having been able to do a complete biopsychosocial profile on this person. I would definitely lean towards Narcissistic Personality disorder with psychopathic traits. I concur with the one agent about him having impotence with peers. The Crime Classification Manual by Ressler, Burgess, & Douglass is fantastic at breaking this down.
I was really hoping to hear more from the man convicted especially after the detective said the more you let him the more he reveals himself!

First clue that he’s guilty……
Piers: “could you ever hurt a child “?
Killer: repeats the question to buy time to best compose the lie. “could I ever hurt a child?” …(huge delay) then answers “uhhhhh”.
How about a lightning fast and succinct “No”. 🤷♀️
He seems to say the the thought of taking a child’s life and then almost seems to correct himself, and then said innocent child’s life, almost like he differentiates child and innocent child’s life, like in his mind there is a difference. As a journalist I think that Piers Morgan is a pretty skilled interviewer. He did a good job interviewing the family of the victims, as well as the police here. However, he's not in his league at all here in interviewing a convicted serial killer! As Detective Silverman correctly stated, the more Mr. Henriquez talks, then the more that you can see that his story falls apart. So let him talk! There was no need to interrupt him here!
Yes, but Piers's goal is not to prove his guilt, his goal is to appear as a tough interviewer because it boosts his image and therefore his ratings.
A few things:
1) Why in the world would this guy accept this interview where he could only slip and admit?
2) Is he getting paid for the interview if someone here knows how it works, and if yes what figure are we looking at?
3) Please do not be disrespectful towards other posters here about the following as i don’t mean disrespect.
How is he getting so overweight in jail?
It’s usually the other way around, no?
That arm crossing is mostly because the chair has no arm rest and he's a very heavy man. He's very uncomfortable sitting down like that.
He told you that? Who asked?
Plus, crossing his arms isn’t aggressive, it’s more of a guarded, closing yourself off, or comforting yourself gesture. Hands balled up in a fist and arms stretched out would be more of an aggressive, ready to fight stance.
Oh well
That’s very great observation.
Spot on observation! Sometimes a dog is a dog! The man cannot be comfortable in that tiny chair. I read a body language expert who said they always try to put the “person” in a physically uncomfortable interview position. They even talk about manipulating the temperature. The physical discomfort contributes to them making a mistake. You are sooo correct..
Honestly I think that Mr. Morgan should have let him talk about evidence, talk about the details of each 'case.' Pierce constantly cuts him off..the exact opposite of what the expert told him to do which was: Let him talk. I vaguely remember this case.. . I hope, I pray the grieving families have found The Peace that passes all understanding.
But if watch it carefully he actually goes off on rants about not being allowed to give the evidence or redirects. He could have given the evidence directly. Even when drilled down by Piers to answer specific evidence questions he plays semantics, repeats the question to play for thinking time or affect confusion, or redirects. It's all smoke & mirrors & bluff. The evidence was presented in court. His lawyer challenged it. The jury weighed & made a decision on it. No system is perfect, but as stated there is far too much 'circumstantial' evidence for it to have been circumstantial.
@@user-rn4jy5qe1s Oh I don't think he's innocent by any stretch but I watched Pierce interrupting way too often. That's my take. The guy hasn't given an interview in 30 years..handed it to Pierce. Too bad...shioddy interview. IMO.
@@yanifree114 From the few examples in the program of his lies or denial about significant 'circumstantial' evidence, I don't think he would have given any real evidence anyway but would have only continued to rant & deflect. The point about the floral underwear he can't refute but he tries to with lies ('the police told me about them'). His own nephew testified in the trial Henriquez persuaded him to fake a call to the media as the 'real' murderer with a script including those details. Yes I think I would have liked Piers to have probed more for Henriquez's 'truth' but this interview was about a battle of wills & control for Henriquez.

The only truth that I heard him say that rolled of his tongue was there are people in here for worse crimes. I would truly like to know what is worse than killing a child in a psychopaths mind.
"You're crossing your arms", seriously Piers? And what does that prove?
Right 😂😂and look how little that chair is smh
In body language analysis it's shown to be a gate and the arms and hands are the gate and it's either open or closed and when it is closed it just shows high stress or something they are uncomfortable talking about.
@@dickfitswell3437
Sometimes I cross my harms because I'm cold, other times it's because I'm bored, or my arms are tired and it makes me comfortable, body language is a pseudo science, and it's dangerous to try end guess people's intentions based on how they move an eye brow.
Unreliable PHD forensic nonsense.
Exactly, I thought I was trippin 😂😂
He is absolutely giving automated responses. The tip off is immediate, when he repeats the question is he capable of hurting a child, he needed the time to generate the correct answer.
Pierce didn't give him a single chance, constantly interrupting him and forcing his own opinion on him, I wouldn't call that an interview.😮It is not the first person to be convicted by coincidentally being in the same place and then suddenly becoming the perpetrator due to circumstances, I do not claim that he is innocent, it is just assumptions.
That shook me to my core. Lisa’s room is still the same preserved after all these years. Can’t imaging that kind of pain. She sleeps in her bed and thinks she’s still with her. That’s called pain not comfort.
RIP Victims. God help their families.
In the end, he is right that you never gave him a chance to explain. So sad.
Exactly soon has he tried he shut him down
All got tunnel vision
I reckon this man maybe innocent but very unlucky
Bad journalism
I don't like piers interviews
Absolutely! He (Piers) was just there to accuse him and not to find out anything, even crossing his arms made him guilty in Pier's eyes when anyone that heavy needs to rest their arms on something!!
Piers is an expert….LOL
He's sickened? That's A serial killer not a boy scout.
I hope the families find peace🙏🏼🌹🌹🌹
One thing always difficult to explain is that the crimes stop after the arrest.
This was literally about to be my comment..2shay❤
It means they've caught the killer. 🙄
@lemongate4869 Not always!, an intelligent criminal may very well cease all his activities at the moment of someone's arrest to reinforce the idea that the killer has been caught.
@@BartzabelAlgolI'm frightened that you've pondered this.
Is common sense really @@migbham1
When I had my window cleaning business at times people would say " Ivee seen your trucks around town." I only had one vehicle which means people can invent things in their minds they believe to be real but are nothing more than fantasies. You can't believe what people say in these crimes because people can think they saw things they never really saw. You have to have evidence.
And people can be paid to say things just to get a conviction.
thats true people make things up all the time
And remember this everyone, there are a lot of innocent people locked up in prison. Sad but true!
First of all you’re neglecting the evidence. Second off you present an allegory about your business that’s patently absurd. Of course people are going to use the turn of phrase “I’ve seen your trucks around town” after seeing one of your company trucks. Your entire argument and subsequently the mouth-breathers who’ve responded to your comment are essentially a scourge on society.
@@chunkybuttz844 BS... is their opinion keep yours..
I’m a priest and psychoanalyst, I do not know him but he appears to be a psychopath from casual observation. So many red flags
I watched this video twice and saw "NO RED FLAGS."
I wouldn't want to give a dollarcent to everyone who is "sickened" by Piers Morgan - it would bankrupt me.....
this series of interviews could be renamed "Piers Morgan Calls BS And Prisoners Storm Off Angrily"
😂😂😂😂haaa that’s what I’m saying such sensitive bish
Piers Morgan is a clown..
@@mrhappyfolger2721I suppose you're all for the killer.
I didnt see a prisoner ‘storming of agrily’🤔🙄
Just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Why do an interview when you won’t let him talk.. shut up will you, the more he talks the more we find out what he’s done!!
he did talk. He says the police are liars and blames everyone for being wrong. Like a flat-earther who says all the scientists worldwide, and gov are all cooking up a big lie. If you let them get power in the conversation they will go on for hours and lay blame. There was a witness who saw him by his car where one of the body's was found who picked him out of a line up of men. He said he could never hurt a child but was convicted of scalding a little innocent boy's whole back from top to bottom while in his care prior.
Piers would have just let this guy bubble out &rumble into mistakes that were forewarned to him by the detectives !
I don't know now, now I question the authorities😮
A taxi driver is always around crime, a taxi driver knows everyone in the area, a taxi driver has access to people, a taxi driver will always seem “in the area”
Very good point
smart comment
I could not sleep at night knowing not one victim had his dna.
I would love to see this guy take a lie detector test and see the results......
Same
The real psycopaths can pass lie detector tests
Yes, good idea, to take a lie detectors test!!!
It's not a lie detector. It's measuring sweat, heart rate and breathing variations which will show when the person is stressed. They use another type of test for male predators that involves a device placed around the males p€n1s and detects movements when the predator is shown images at random and then a random child is shown and if the pred is attracted to her/him then his member will move. The better test is a voice stress analysis.
And for those who say lie detector tests or polygraphs are NOT allowed during a trial, are wrong, they can be admitted if both sides agree. That's how we know they work. If they didn't they wouldn't let them at all
Piers Morgan interviewed himself in front of a suspected serial killer.
A convicted serial killer. This guy is so full of himself. He’s guilty.
Great interview Mr Morgan. Did the murders stop after he was in custody?
