- Crisp, tender, and buttery, these Browned Butter-Earl Grey Cookies are a delightful treat for parties or to serve with a cup of coffee or tea. They practically melt in your mouth, and the flavor of tea pairs wonderfully with the orange zest glaze. You will want to make this aromatic cookie recipe all the time! This is a recipe I've been working on for a while and am so excited to finally share with you!

I absolutely love the fact that you give weights in grams...it has changed my baking for the better. It is so much more accurate than cups or ounces. Many thanks.
Same. I pretty much refuse to use recipes that don't use weighted measurements. Sometimes the difference can be as much as 50%!
I know, right? I've always disliked how "1 cup" wouldn't always be 250ml due to the different densities of the ingredients themselves. It's really nice to get the mass, as it's much easier to work with.
Yep, only communists use cups vs grams. Pretty sure it's not protected by the 1st Amendment.

JUST tried these today. The house smelled amazing! I love earl gray, and I usually add honey to my tea when I drink a cup. I modified the recipe a little to include about a half tablespoon of juice from an orange WITH the zest, and a bit of honey to the glaze. It was delicious, thank you!

John, I personally gotta thank you for you and your videos. They have upped my baking and cooking game soo tremendously. I never realized that I had such a passion for baking/cooking until recently. I've gotten compliments from families, friends and even my neighbors. Yesterday I made your cheesecake recipe, and one of the front door men told me that it was "one of the best cakes I've ever had." I made your blueberry muffins one time, and my uncle said that it was the best muffin he's ever had, and he wasn't exaggerating.

This is the recipe I've been dreaming of! I've been dying to bake with infused butter and this was the perfect chance! I started yesterday and wow! When you said the browned butter with vanilla smelled good, I believed you but I was not prepared for _how heavenly_ it would smell! Once it was chilled the smell really reminded me of homemade salted caramel, which is one of my favourite things ever.
I still have to cut and bake the cookies and I just can't wait!!

I have the same Bees Wrap sheets! I wasn't sure what they were for when I got it in a White Elephant, nice to know I can use them as a wax sheet for baking!
I LOVE mine and use them in place of platic wrap and Tin Foil. Just can't use them for warm/hot things :) Also have Meliwraps with are very similar and come in different sizes.

You can grow the bergamot bee balm, or Monarda family, perennial, cute magenta flowers the bees love..and..smells great!

I think all the flavours you chose would be delightful, I really do!!! Kind of reminds me of a chai tea type of cookie, maybe an Indian theme.

I've made these today and just having my first bites. Oh my. These are awesome. So soft and a fantastic flavour. That glaze nearly got all eaten with a spoon too 😅

These really were amazing! I didn't add the glaze but I don't think it needed it. They're delightfully short, and just sweet enough. I think I'll add a bit more cardamom next time.

That's a really interesting recipe. I'd never thought of using brown butter as the 'carriage' for flavouring other than the butter itself. Are you using powdered sugar (rather than caster) to give the biscuit more snap? And that glaze looks amazing - I was immediately thinking of other things you could use it on. I can't wait to have a go at making these over the weekend. Thank you.
