- 200+ km/h 125+ mph POLICE CHASE with 3 cruisers Active Driving Encounters ADDITIONAL GTBOARD theme!
-Driver was a couple of years under legal driving age
-Driver was under the influence of drugs an alcohol.
-Court agreed with prosecutor "veritable lunatic driving" (veritable vansinneskörning).
-Would have been several months (if not years) in jail if it was not for his young age
-Some of the offences: grand theft auto, driving under the influence, driving without a license and more.
Lessons learned in chronological order
-Stop for the police, especially if you are driving a 2006 112 HP Renault Megane Sedan
-Don't do drugs and alcohol
-Keep the calm
-Take driving lessons on tracks to learn extreme behaviours of your car as max acceleration
evasive actions (for example full ABS braking "Moose test"), panic braking and more.
-Important with communication between police vehicles for synchronized maneuvers
-Please fill in your thoughts in the comments below!
Continuously we post a real driving encounter caught on camera and perform an after-action report on it for lessons learned.

@Zx Spectrum Looks like ABS brakign wasnt applied (blinking brake lights, did the passat have that, maybe not on that generation?) but I was impressed with the roadholdign of that Passsat and that evasive maneuver! :O

I was shocked that Megane could drive so fast :O That car had to be so unstable at those speeds - it's not designed for that!

I worked in law enforcement for many years and spent several years as a C/O in a juvenile facility.
Believe me when I tell you that we are doing out teenagers a grave disservice by simply slapping their wrist after committing a crime such as this.
If the kid crashed into someone any injuries would be based on the incident and not the age of the person causing the injuries.
The consequences should be based on the crime, not the age of the person committing a crime.
We do not believe in punishment for crimes in Sweden. It's all about rehabilitation. Spit in the face of the real victims and victimize criminals.
not really, the problem is the juvenile facilities. they are worse than some prisons, as in the environment sucks, makes the lesser criminals even more criminal and doesnt help the kids get on the right track

I assume that megane had 2.0 16v engine which is good for 200+ km/h, and 9 sec to 100 km/h. But Volvo T6 v90 or similar is king here.

I’m amazed that the Renault was able to do 200 km/h it had to be the drivers parents car. The police officers really got a run for the money that night.
Oh it might be able to do it, but it won't like it for long (like for instance, the cooling system of such an engine might tolerate it for a whole, but not for a prolonged period of time).
As for cars in general being able to get to that speed: the cars from the era like that one can be surprisingly capable, and that's only getting better basically with the increase in reliability and efficiency of car technology.
Also, some people just take good care of their car, it doesn't necessarily have to be their parents car.

Visar ju snarare på att han suger, eftersom han inte ser att han håller på köra rakt in i en stolpe, förrän i sista sekund - varpå han "slänger sig åt sidan" och klarar sig "på håret". Hade han varit ouppmärksam 0,1 sekunder till, så hade han klippt stolpen.
Istället kan man ju då fråga sig - varför körde han inte till vänster om skylten (där han hade en tom fil med hur mycket plats som helst) och varför väjer han så pass sent? Det finns ju liksom ingen vettig anledning till att man ska göra sådär med flit.

It was over 200 km/h and max speed on that Renault.
LOL! But he IS slow compared to us, who like speed. What the average soccer mom driver think is fast, isn't really of intrest here. I often go 180-200 km/h on the highway - that's nice and fast, but nothing special. It would be so frustrating to not being able to go faster, if having cops right behind my ass, haha.

Jodå, i de underhållande filmerna med Arkansas State Police förekommer det att man knuffar aporna av vägen i 200 knyck (125 mph). I sämre delstater som Kalifornien är det dock sämre ställt med polisens handlingsfrihet.

I mean some of us can do 250+ but this is like a 16 or so year old in a 20 year old renault.. so i would say 190 is pretty fast in that instance.. who steals a 20 year old renault in the first place? You can get those for like literally nothing.

Mikael Schumacher in the Passat kept going far past the car they were chasing? Wasn't fun anymore when the perp stopped and you almost rammed a sign at 160km/h. Have to hand it to the coppers; they seem to be responsible for at least 75% of all the dangerous situations created in these chases 😅. A cool uniform and a light rack on the roof don't make you a tier 1 race driver, sir.
That sogn was brutally close to be hit 😯 Actually a Mercedes AMG drivwe was shot to death by this departement. But the AmG dricer was advanxing towards them and it was several threatwning situations.

Så länge du inte anordnar biljakt på en avlyst bana är det sällan som motoreffekten är avgörande. Trafiken och vägarna är begränsande (eller kan vara till den jagades fördel), och polisen är aldrig ensam.
Men visst, lura i Hassan att bara han köper en tillräckligt dyr kebabracer så kan han köra ifrån Aina, så får vi fler underhållande filmer, förhoppningsvis med en mosad Hassan och oskadd omgivning.
När har polisen rätt att utföra en så kallad "pit maneuver"? Man kan ju inte jaga en bil för evigt
Antar när kanske fängelsestraff är på skalan eller om de misstänker alkohol eller drogpåverkan? Skydda tredje man tror jag är väldigt viktigt också så inväntan av lämpligt ställe är ju också viktigt. Sen ska man inte förstöra så mkt av polisbilen och andra tredjemans tillhörigheter är min gissning.
