- Witcher 4 - Where Could It Be? In this video I go over some of the best possible witcher 4 locations and where I would personally like to go in the game. This is based on the witcher 3 ending, school of the lynx poster released by CDPROJEKTRED and the witcher polaris.

The man, The myth, The legend has returned!
Was playing the Witcher 3 a bit ago, decided to stop and read all the books and play the first 2 games before picking 3 up again cause I was enjoying the world and story so much, really exited for the new triology and the remake. I think seeing Kovir would definitely be interesting
It's always great to experience the entire story, it'll be so fun to experience an updated Witcher 1
yeah for sure, you think you'll do a playthrough on the channel when its launched? your playthrough on 3 was a great watch
I'd love to if I have the time, maybe on this channel!
nice!
@@niek3212 how far have you come with the books? did you like them so far?
I believe Eskel mentions how much they pay for a downer in Kovir maybe we will follow him in kovir
That would be great
Cool video! I just hope we get to see Geralt somehow in the game.
I second this. I'm sure we'll be getting a reference at least, but ofc I'd prefer to actually see the White Wolf Gerald himself
I doubt he'll be in at directly but let's hope we can hear one of Dandelion's songs or at least an Easter egg!
I would like to see the more of the south like nilfgaard and also Kovir, Zerrikania, Mahakam and ofieri!!
I remember I used to watch your videos all the time, and I was missing the Witcher 3 and downright jaw-dropping experiences that it gave me, so I was sad when I saw no videos for months under 'Witcher George.' But then I discover this channel, 'Ranger George,' and that you haven't stopped creating Witcher content after all.
PRAISE THE LAWDDD. There is good in the world!
Personally I think Kovir would be really cool to explore. Maybe Amell? A snowy region where the School of the Bear's HQ was. Dol Blathanna could be an interesting journey. There's honestly so many to choose but personally a deep dive into Kovir is my pick since you hear about it so much
I would be really interested in seeing Kovir and the capital of Nilfgaard also called Nilfgaard. But also I am very interested in the faraway lands for example zerrikania and ofier. I think Ofier is a possibility with HoS having Ofier tied to it.
I am personally interested in a game located in Nilfgaard. The city of Golden Towers (capital of the empire) to be precise. I think that could be very interesting.
Half of me hopes Geralt’s journey is over like CD said about 3 so we can maybe have a character creator. Half of me doesn’t want Geralt’s journey to ever end.
I'm still playing W3. On my way to 700 hours now!
With the School of the Lynx I'd like to see the sorcerers and sorceress' come up with a magic led version of the Trial of the Grasses that doesn't involve multiple deaths. I reckon that it could be done if the Lodge et al put their minds to it. Geralt gets to take on the Vesemir role (non playable for obvious reasons). Perhaps some of our favourite Sorceress' would be around too.
I think it would give a great fresh start to the new trilogy. 😊😊😊
What's interesting is that there was a planned add-on for the witcher 1 set in mahakam that was cancelled. Maybe we see Mahakam not in the witcher 4, but in the witcher 1 remake?
I hope for Witcher 1 remake they take full advantage of Geralt losing his memory.
For example I loved the Flaming Rose route where Geralt ends up absolutely detesting Elves due to them attacking that peaceful village and causing Alvin to go missing.
Same goes for killing that Vampire that says she was friends with you. Or in the beginning where you can straight up just let Zoltan get beat up instead of helping him.
Ah, good to hear from you again! I had not heard that they might be doing a trilogy, that's an interesting thought. I'm totally down for exploring new areas! Honestly, my biggest hope is that we'll get to create our own witcher to roam the lands with. Not just appearance, but traits, flaws, etc. Maybe that all has to do with my personal love of RPGs, though. LOL Either way, I'm looking forward to it!
Was just thinking I want to rewatch your trilogy playthrough and here you are, awesome to see a video from you mate. Miss the streams, those God of War and Black Flag days were epic
Those were the days
I know the games are semi-canon so it’s not set in stone but in the books Nilfgaard goes trough some very hard times after the series ends: the dinasty of Emir ends, Voorhd becomes emperor a plague strucks and Serrikanians invade, it takes half a century until for a new Emperor (one of the Nilfgaard leaders on the Gwent game) restores the empire to a more or less good place. Hope CDPR plays with that and gives a Nilfgaard setting.
WWW upload George. i missed your voice man, can not listen to 'vagabond' without getting nostalgic for this channel :) looking forward to many engaging discussions on where CDPR are taking us!
I will be sad that Geralt won’t be there. They could have had a conclusion to Geralt , just to tie things up
Citi might be a worthwhile protagonist
IMO
Keep the Witcher stuff coming bro 🤙🏻
I think the location doesn’t matter so much as the time period. I’d love it to be set during the heyday of the Witchers.
Welcome back mate.
Covir sounds like a pretty good guess. I haven't thought about it, but if I remember from the books, Covir played a bit the role of the puppeteer with respect to the war and so there could be pretty good intrigues there. Also some of the other worlds could be also quite cool to explore be it with Ciri or with Geralt or with smn else, say Avalach (though that would be a bit too Netflix-y). They could easily remake Ciri's trip trough the worlds but I'm not sure how they will tie it up with TW3. Or they could come up with some brand new story that is part of the world
this is a question I have been thinking about a lot, great insights!
I mainly would like to see Kovir and Brokilon but hope there is 4 or 5 different locations altogether. Not sure what other places i would like because there is so much of the Continent we haven't seen.
The 10th anniversary clip from CD Projekt Red basically canonised who lived and who died. That in itself throws a wrench into the continuity worries. The new game will start a new trilogy and in my opinion the creators shouldn't worry about continuity with possibilities that conflict with the 10th anniversary video. (Yes I like the happy ending, what can I do?)
Kovir is a sort of blend of the USA and Switzerland with a capital that looks Venice, sounds like a cool setting to me.
*Yeah we need more new Amazing Locations with great Ambiance like Skellige!❤❤❤*
Kovir was my first thought. Zerrikania the 2nd. Mahakam would be a great place to visit, as well as Brokilon and Dol Blathanna.
When I heard the news of the next Witcher Saga I hoped it would be Geralt, Ciri, and the remaining witchers creating a new witcher school to face threats coming from other worlds after the destruction of the white frost. We could play both as Ciri and Geralt at different parts of the story (like in GTA5).
I think that cdpr confirmed that Gerald's story is over and it will be a completely new saga
@@jonisyrjalainen9067 It's sad and the right thing to do at the same time. I like the ending Geralt got after Blood and Wine. It felt like he was at peace.
This said, a prequel could always be done. I want to play him meeting Yen for the first time.
I can see a new school forming, but I doubt Geralt will do much more than cameos. His saga is confirmed to be over, and he is happily retired.
I think it's more likely Lambert & Keira start making witchers, and you play a new generation witcher. You will probably be able to customize him to an extent, kinda like V in cyberpunk.
An alternate theory is that its gonna be prequel game, and that the lynx school, but I doubt that because the Lynx school seems brand new.
Also, I am assuming the cannon ending, is the one displayed in the ten year anniversary video by CDPR, with all the characters within alive, and Geralt back with Yennefer, occasionally taking a contract just to spend time with friends.
My personal wish is that since Kaer Morhen is even more of a wreck, and all the other witcher fortresses are in a similar state the new school will be nomadic. Maybe a caravan, that way we can experience several countries, not just the same one the entire game.
Footnote, is I think it's very likely we will see Ciri, if a new Witcher school formed I kinda see her getting involved in that actively, she will probably be a questgiver.
Anyway it's just speculation, but hey thats all we have for now.
It's also interesting that there is a fannon school of the lynx already, and I assume the devs are at least familiar with the theory since they went ahead and decided to show us a lynx medallion.
@@JohnnythefirstI don’t think that would really play to the strengths of CDPR much as it would probably be a very linear storyline that you won’t be able to do much in anyway. If it’s a prequel I do hope Vesemir is the character we could play
@@Johnnythefirstfirst meeting of Geralt and Yennefer is already in the books
I would like a witcher spin off where you play a witcher form other schools like the griffin, manticore, etc. I really wanted to play as a mage griffin witcher as geralt doesn't fit this bill
I hope Garralt is on the Witcher 4 even if he is a side character, I just don’t think the game will be quite the same without the character on it at least
He will be. The original polish voice actor confirmed that.
@@labret2 I hope so. It just wouldn’t feel like a Witcher game without Garralt
Zerrikania and ofier...witcher meets prince of persia...kovir and niilfgaard...that's about it...I cant imagine any other region being all that radically different to what we've already seen...just more villages and castles...theres no chinese or japanese or asian inspired culture in the witcherverse that we've seen...though the expanded witcher 3 update armor set of the lion of the west gear would insinuate such a thing exists in cdprs witcherverse
Can you explore what you think the story may be in the next game based on what happens in the Witcher 3 (ex: the second conjunction impact)
I think the next trilogy should start around a good 30 years later than the Witcher 3 ended. So the realms, politics, etc, shouldn't really depend on your Witcher 3 ending, because the status quo now is different. You can load a Witcher 3 save, or do a simulation just like in Witcher 3, then people will talk about the great empress Ciri, or Dijkstra, or Roche would be the governor of Temeria, something like that. But the status quo at the start of the game is fixed. Would love to have Vizima as Temerian, either Roche rebelled against Nilfgaard when it was really week and took it back, Dijkstra took it back, but then Temeria got independent from the North again. Or just Ciri gave it back, whatever. Vizima is the Liberty City of Witcher, it is always nice coming back.
I would also like to see locations and nations we haven't seen before like Dol Blathanna
Time to re read the witcher series!
Ahh a man of culture watching witcher videos with joryu as your pfp. Just makes me happy to see other people just like me.
Mahacham, Zarankia and Kovir, (please forgive the spelling). I want to see Ofer and everywhere we’ve already seen in Witcher 3. More of Nilfguard would be awesome. I’d absolutely LOVE to see Aretuza. Anyways, sorry for the butchering of the spelling of these places.
in my opinion i would love to see zerikania and something beyond the map I think that would be very cool
Omg he’s back
I want to feel what i felt when i first entered flotsam in the witcher 2. Complete and utter emmersion with insane levels of detail and grittyness. Too many locations in the witcher 3 seem very devoid of character and forgettable with exceptions ofcourse. I think Brokilon Forest would be a great area to explore as it would be great for book readers, great for emmersion and atmosphere like flotsam was, and the potential for loads of interesting stories regarding the dryads. I would personally be happy to not see Velen again as i think it was mostly a downgrade from previous games locations. I preferred it when geralt really stayed in a location and made it home rather than floating through for 5 minutes. Kovir and Poviss would definitely be great locations. If i remmeber correctly, kovir has loads of canals and riverways flowing through the city which could be made incredibly pretty
You're alive xD
Interesting choices I think it should be partially in cove are too but you forgot one particular area if I recall Gerald had a little sort of fling with a sorceress named Coral she originated from the skellige isles but she was another coastal town or city with Gerald I'd like to see a little bit of that place as well I don't remember the name of that town though
Hopefully it’s somewhere we’ve never been before
I wish they'd go somewhere new - like Kovir & Povis, or even Nilfgaard.
Our happy future with triss in kovir, be a great game .
Everybody forgetting about Nifgard ? That's the best place for a game for excellence, since is a bast empire that we haven't seen anything about rather only hear detail but actually being there, how much does it extend to the south?
It'll be intresting to see what they make canon
i think it would be really cool for it to be built around a custom character instead of following a single character like geralt. obviously the greatest part about the witcher is following geralt, but since we already know its not a story directly about geralt it would be cool to introduce a more open rpg story like dragon age.
Anywhere, as far as it includes Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer for a real Witcher experience.
I hope its a prequel with young vesemir or young geralt
I hope it takes place a few hundred years before the Witcher series.
We need to see Kovir and Nilfgaard on witcher 4
i need the witcher 4 NOW 😩😩😩
Cmon nilfgaar has to make an appearance, or is it going to be like the black water heist, something we might never see
Vizima would be good, we never see anything except the palace interior.
Zerrikania would also be very interesting, maybe have a few more dragon interactions. Although hopefully without killing them.
nah the main question is, how is it going to top Geralt's story, all the myriad of characters, like I can't comprehend something better tbh and for your question, maybe Kovir (wrote kovir before starting the vid, lol).
Zerrikania and Kovir please
One of the worries for me is the ESG.
The lightning on your Witcher 3 clips looks different, is it a mod??
They never said the new game is a sequel. They only called it a new saga. It’s not Witcher 4 which means our choices in the previous trilogy are irrelevant. There’s going to be a canon by CDPR and a new story.
What do you think about Geralt moving forward? would you like a completely new witcher in the future or would you be ok with Geralt but just older?
I really love Geralt so for me i could totally play him again like 100 years after w3. Let's just pretend like witcher don't get older after a bit
2027 at the earliest. I hope Geralt & Ciri are in the game and it’s not completely apart from them. It wouldn’t feel right imo.
Hope they release in nitendo
It should be everywhere we've been to+everywhere we've not been too...
I hope CDPROJEKTRED makes a clean game unlike the initial release of Cyberpunk.
I think you’re talking a lot like the new Witcher saga is a Witcher 4 (which it’d mean that our choices in the previous trilogy will matter) but I think that’s not the case. They’ve said it’s a brand new saga so the choices we did in the trilogy won’t matter.
They will pick a canon story and create a new saga.
If there is no gwent I'm not buying
Witcher without Geralt is not Witcher
It's being updated for modern audiences.
inside of CDPR's development computers?
I mean I’m a nilfguaard patriot so I 1000% want to go there. Cult of the sun, absolutism , influences of trade and commerce. How the races are (supposedly) treated better. Relations with its clients puppet kingdoms. Such an interesting society
They have one of the best plate armor designs imo. You know the black armor with the wings on the helmet? Also I do really like the Temerian knights armor design too with the red feather you see in the Witcher 2.
In south
I want Zerikania
Where ever we will be o dimm will be returning to trifle in our business. Don’t believe me listen in to certain pieces of dialogue in the Witcher 3
I want Bloody Barron to return in Witcher 4
Ofier
Snowy region we can climb mountains as well like in Tomb Raider
Am I alone on not wanting to play as ciri? I hope they let you create your own male or female witcher or pick the sex of the main character like Ubisoft has done last few games. Love to see her show up just not play as her.
Hope its in past and not a continuation of the trilogy
Pretty sure they already said it’s not gonna be in the past.
@@vulfreyde that's a shame :/ there's no more witcher school at the end of the game and it is said that monster are becoming scarse so i don't now what'll they do.
Be cool if you can create your own witcher. If the hero is just a random female with no choice in design I'm out.
