- Did the best I could to video outside the car by myself... hope it justifies how awesome the turbo sounds and how fast the car is... every drive by was starting in 2nd gear and went from there.
UPDATE: Switching from the Q300 to the Full Race exhaust I am now making 453whp and 396wtq @ 12.5psi... All with stock internals.

Yes.. had to drive it back from PA to WI... 12 hour drive.. no problems.. I also commute 65 miles to work one way.. so no problems.. love how it drives
Im running 12psi... with my AEM Boost Controller its set at 62% Duty Cycle... absolutely love it
I never realized how little boost these run to get power.
I am running 1000 cc Injector Dynamics injectors and I have the full RBC swap which includes being bored to 70mm and also have the ZDX TB
I haven't heard of any failures with this kit... I'm all stock internals with this kit and have over 20,000 miles with the turbo and not a single issue... the car is my DD. As for the Torco SR-5R 0w-20... it is specifically designed for race cars and performance engines.. hence why it's $20 a quart... ;) There are underground street racers that have been using it for years.

Yes.. The larger TB does make a difference.. especially when paired with a great intake. U will want to bore the RBC if u upgrade the TB

Duty Cycle that I was referring to was the turbo waste gate (granted, you are correct that the fuel injectors are referred to as duty cycle for how much they put out)... but again, in this case its the turbo waste gate... by upping the duty cycle you are increasing the psi of the turbo... so.. if I put it at 80, id probably be around 16psi.. lol.. which for a DD would be way too much... 12psi is almosy too much
Lol... and yessir.. people knocked the integrated exhaust manifold... turns out Honda wad pretty genius... the k24z7 was designed to be turboed ;)

Lol.. I changed the wheels to a white lip with black center.. looks sick... and yes.. engine still has all stock internals... the turbo is a Precision 5858 Journal Bearing Turbo and there is NO lag noticeable... If there is some, you definitely can't feel it ;)

Steven Feole... I am running Amsoil 5w-30 and the engine loves it!!!!!! However, after a ton of research I will be switching to Torco SR-5 0w-20 as that is by far the best oil out there... it is almost $20 a quart... but according many racing sources that is cheap for being the best oil by far... don't let them put the Rotella in... get the Amsoil OE 5w-30.. only about $6 a quart... ur engine will love you... btw... Vit Viper runs the amsoil 5w-30 in all his turboed and supercharged Si's. .. so it is legit oil. :)
I am tuned on 91 octane without the 10% ethanol added.
And for the prior question... the duty cycle is referring to the boost gauge and the wastegate... not the injectors... and if I were to increase to 80% duty cycle I'd probably be about 18 psi as opposed to the 12.5 psi I am now

is this a stage 1 turbo? i have a 2013 also. at first i was stuck picking CT-E and Kraftswerks SC kit. now i see this turbo, it's making think different.
Damn bizzle (i know thats not ur name but dont know why i like it betterer lol). That thing sounds great! When u say 62% duty cycle, ur refering to the injectors right? What would be the difference if lets just say u were running them at 80%? Sorry for the newb questions. just trying to learn as much as I can before I do it to my 13.
It should cost right around $5000 give or take depending on what options you choose such as turbo, clutch and flywheel.
I have their RBC kit bored to 70mm and ZDX throttle body... Invidia Q300 turbo back exhaust and Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors.

Check out makspeed. They have kits for the 9th gens now, and are running around 4k dollars. comes with a 6062 comp turbo. I am currently running that makspeed kit with a sleeved mot r and dog box trans now making well over 700 on that kit with just an upgraded turbo. Highly reccomend it.
How's your transmission holding up? I hear that's the real ticking time bomb, you on gear-X or stock?

I imagine that this power is being made on stock internals. I did notice that there is a lot of turbo lag, what size turbo are you running? Also, I have the same car and props to you for the build, but white on white looks hideous. Go black or dark bronze on your wheels.

So far its habdling the power great... I avoid 1st and 2nd gear boosting to make it easier on the car ;)

Hey...I'm in Jamaica and I have a 2013 Si and I'm thinking about adding a turbo...Can u describe the set up of ur car in detail?
Setup is as follows.
-PRL Motorsports Stage 2 Turbo kit using a Precision 5858 Journal Bearing Turbo and a Competition Stage 4 Clutch
-RBC Manifold Swap ported to 70mm with a ZDX throttle body and Hondata heatshield gasket
-Full Race Turbo back exhaust.
Basically just go to PRLMotorsports.com and you will be able to find the Stage 2 kit and see the options.. I also have 1000cc injectors.
Just wondering if you know, I'm getting my 2013 civic si turboed right now and the shop wants to run 10w30 rotela, I'm worried about the clearance of the engine as stock is 0-20 any ideas?
