Volunteering with Free The Bears 🐻 Cat Tien Vietnam 🇻🇳 Full 1 Week Program VLOG 2024 ✈️

I was lucky enough to spend a week volunteering with the fantastic organisation, Free the Bears. Located at their Cat Tien National Park centre, I have documented a day by day look at what it's like to live and work with their amazing bears and staff. I had a great time meeting all of the bears, learning about their stories, preparing food and scatter feeding, making enrichments, creating hammocks, painting wood for their new quarantine area, cleaning up dens and enclosures, and scrubbing ponds and pools. Seeing the amazing lives these bears live now after hard beginnings was so rewarding.
The centre is home to 47 bears (sun bears and moon bears) and staffed by passionate employees and helped by volunteers in June/July & December/January.
