Rented a mini over easter weekend to clear about half an acre. Got pretty good with it, took a couple hours. Never figured out how to spin the under carriage around or how to rake just the top of the soil. Lot of coordination for sure
great video MR firebug. looks like fun on a rainy day. saw a video you mite like virtual railfan yesterday used about 7 cat 330 track hoes to lift and load switch assembly onto rail carts to send down the line for replacement of 1/2 a crossover.
I love watching Chris operate it's like an extension of his arms or his legs he is so fluid with what he does I tell everyone around about him and they're like no one can operate like that and then I show them his video of him in Vegas where he's operating a excavator one track on a balance beam like it was nothing and they're like oh my God there's no way he can do that and then they become fans
Lmao !! I just read another one of your comments and it says , That they have been watching you for awhile now and this confirms you like a BIG ASS FIRE !! Apparently , they haven't seen the REALLY BIG ASS FIRE, you had out on your farm Chris !!! lolololol... Now, that was one Big Ass Fire right there !! I mean REAL BIG !! lolol... Have a Great Evening !! Great as always Chris... Stay Safe....
I mix my used motor oil and diesel fuel together and pour it in my bucket and then dump it in the center of the pile. The inside center of the pile is usually the driest part of the pile. I dip a stick in diesel and light that then toss that into the mixture on the top. Don't always work but I would say it does more then not.
Didn't you know the best time to start a fire was when it is hot, dry and windy? (LOL) That is how we do it in South Dakota!!!!! (July and August being ideal times) I am being sarcastic(maybe) of course, but I do like your burn vids!!!!!
I wish fireplaces in houses were a thing still. All I see is a bunch of great firewood going to waste :'(. Not to say that I don't like a big bonfire as much as the next guy :D
I think with those forks he could have pushed himself backwards, just not forwards....That's how mine are.....not that I've ever needed to find out though.... ;-)
Southern Homestead Transformation back in the late 80’s I had a bush rock business getting rock out with an old Hough 60c loader with forks .....used to get bogged regularly, used the forks as you just described, to get out going forward I had about 50yards of wire rope rapped around the fork frame, secure the end to the nearest large tree or rock and roll the forks back and then lift the forks up as high as she would go, then lower and take another turn around the frame and repeat until she was out.
@@shitloveaduck if you curl it down quickly and jamb it down into the ground it doesn't have time to come forward, that's why you only go backwards if you are stuck.
I do believe that you worked yourself out of a job till they set up a burner. I tell you what, aluminum can go to ash in seconds when they're in a fire. Quarantine has every one looking for something to do.
Hi Chris from the uk, big fan of your work and channel! Who is the chap you have helping you, (not Tim), often driving the truck or shovelling concrete round pipes?
Two things come to mind immediately look at the tires on that loader with the forks on it. The next thing is he was spinning to get in there with a load on the front which was helping with the traction on the front wheels and then once he dumped a load he lost all the weight in the front and this is how you could possibly lose the machine because of weight for it “not thinking very well”. Chances are he will get stuck again. People in my business depend on things like that happening and I can tell you most of the stuff that I sell is being needed because of “not thinking”.
@@shitloveaduck good point but what we have done in the past with those type is tie the toes to the carriage plate holds them back in that case. I suppose the digger was there and easier not criticizing just an idea for future if nothing else is there
I put my gas AND diesel (mixed) in used hydraulic jugs or 5 gallon buckets depending on the application........(I am a pryro from way back) HINT: always use less than 50% gas in your fire starting mixture. (trust me ya don't want more LOL) Can you say INSTANT mustache and eyebrow trim? LMAO
Love it! Keep them burn pile videos coming. After all, the scraps are not going to set aflame without help. Thanks Chris.
Love your ability to manipulate the excavator. I swear you could pick up a raw egg with that bucket if you needed to! Nice job!! Jim.
Oh that really grinds my gears, diesel fuel in a gas can your supposed to use a milk jug.
Tires work great for making big fires . The more tires the better the fire
And some gas in a diesel can just to piss some people off. 🤣
Beat me to it 😂
Hahaha made me laugh out loud too 😝
Yep brilliant
Diesel in a gas can lol
An ever diminishing ring of fire and a stuck loader, now that was fun. Great video bro. Stay safe
Just another day in paradise!

I think you're favorite phase is "Gonna set it on FIRE!!" Too funny
It's lovely to see a nice little fire. Always great fun. And a little can of diesel just to piss someone off ha ha. Love it. Cornwall UK.
I miss the ole hitachi, you sure fixed her up!
Chris there is a Pyro inside you. LOL Love your videos. Thanks
I have no idea what you are talking about LOL
Great video Chris you and John and Tim, y’all stay safe brother
Burning better quality wood than what Lowe’s sells at its number one high dollar wood.
Lol
better Q lumber that pretty much any hardware store agreed...
Sitting next to my space heater and enjoying your fire.
Chris can build a good fire!

That single piece at 9:40.
You're just showing off now lol.
I've been watching your videos for awhile now and this one confirms you enjoy a big ass fire like I do! Thanks!!
BadKittyOscar NO Chris and his huge ass fires lol
I can sit and watch bonfire videos all day long.
Mud and fire , it doesn’t get any better , Chris is the man .
Who doesn’t?
In the UK we would sell that off cut wood for power stations
Good Lord... you guys seem to get more rain that the gulf
This guy is smooth as can be with heavy equipment
It's crazy how you can do stuff like that and not melt hoses or anything lol.
there actually steel braided hose with a rubber exterior, but ya dont wana keep em in a fire any longer than ya need to
...they know who to call when they need a big ass fire..lol...great video..
Follow the beaten path. "Jungle Fire, Keeps on burning!" Got marshmallows?
Looking Like a wet day. Brush pile burn pretty good. Be careful out there be safe. 👍☕️🍩🍀
Love the fires
Hey letsdig18! You've had bigger and stucker! Ride ride ride!
You got a bunch of closet pyros in your subbers, me included!
Yeah. that is right; always the same people show up and comment!!!! lol @ Baby Catcher
Just wish I lived close to there so I could get that “scrap” cedar. I hated to see it burn like that.
Concur.
I always enjoy a good fire burn.
Ahh...nice crackling fire.
"Well, now we know where NOT to drive the loader." Ha!
Thanks.

Keith Dunlap , yeh , now that WAS a fire , I loved it .
Great job on the video Chris have good tomorrow
There was no doubt that you could get that fire burning real good lol
Chris
My marshmallow is going to cook before I can get close. 🤔😎😁
Congratulations 2 million followers.
Love the videos!
good john deere payloader
How do you not burn the heck out of your excavator?

TOBM: The Original Burning Man
Good fire .
Does anybody else watch MrAJWORKS from latvia? always a pretty sloppy mess in his area ..and chris , he likes his volvo's too!👍
Yup! Love watching him dig water channels through the forest.
Lee Harris , yeh I like watching his channel too 🇬🇧
a couple old tires in the center works wonders
@@chinesepugs-bestbreedofdog7254 Tires Center
I got to believe people would buy that for fire wood...
a good operator, never gets stuck.
but when he does its really stuck!
That looks like fun
I like Excavator 👍👍
Man I could use all the slabs like that I could get.
That 544 needs some Skidder tires

Dirt Perfect just changed the season to " Volvo Clearing Season !
All of that mud is a pain in the ass!!!

I do believe I've seen bigger fires on Mr Anderson's channel 😉
So the fire marshal knows you by name I take it.
Happy earth day friends, woo hoo!
fire fire hehe
You ever got
Deisel on your pants while lighting and burning...that'd 'not be good' lol
Oh man do I shrug to see all that cedar burn. If I lived in the area I would've paid you for that.
I think you love playing with infernos.
Lol I really love how they fixed the broken windows lol please tell me that's just waiting on new ones 😂😂😂
Haha that's been like that for like 2 years
@@letsdig18 lol must have ordered the windows from far away
Chris, is that's what's known as an old stuck in the mud?
powerful excavator

Floating forks or not won’t catch me stuck at least in that situation.
If there’s no excavator around you get creative.
At 14 04 you picked up a log and it turned over in the bucket, there was a noise like a dog barking and i thought for a sec you got a dog in it. LOL
Use sprayer with diesel and leaf blower
All you needed to really git 'er going was the spare tire from that Ford Truck and you woulda been cookin in no time
How far away from buildings and trees do you keep your fires?
GET A LEAF BLOWER, YOUR PROBLEMS WILL GO AWAY.
Man that loader they dont take care of it ..
Skid loader stuck, no problem.

I love me a good fire
🔥🔥🔥😀
You've probably answered this but do you have any trouble with the hydraulic hoses heating and getting brittle? Cracking?
Wouldn't do it to mine lol
Hi Chris from the uk, big fan of your work and channel! Who is the chap you have helping you, (not Tim), often driving the truck or shovelling concrete round pipes?
How can I get some of those cedar scraps? Not the burnt ones but the ones he is wanting to burn.
Have you ever popped a window on the Hitachi from being to close to long to a fire or any other machine?
never problems with baked clay burn pits?
Made a different mess trying to clean up a mess. Lol
New here. Who owns the sawmill?
Great Vid Chris!! Didnt CT3 help you on the Hitachi?
First great video 👍

Kerosene by Miranda Lambert has to be your favorite song ? !
It must be easier on your tracks to turn by putting your bucket down??
thought all fires were banned !
Stick forks in ground and push yourself back is a technique also diff lock

Hey Chris what tasks are you favorite to do?
Your fire heap is packed too tight and lacks a good air supply in the middle and bottom and that causes a slow start.
Is the thumb hydraulic or mechanical
Hi They would be better of with a telehandler at the mill

Burning wood 🔥🔥🔥 and stuck loader.....
i would have chipped it and sold it for garden mulch added value from nothing pure profit
You ever melt any hydraulic lines when working in a fire like that?
no
wow loader 4wd was stuck
