Chris you should build a ramp out of dirt, on your farm, so you back the trailer to and load your machines easily when they are all wet. I think you have the technology.
Yea' just use a few concrete highway dividers, surrounded by dirt then grass or gravel, and never have suspended loads on forklift loading or unloading, just drive-in or drive-off and drive-off _ and level access for all equipment, to never need ramps when at home or from any Shop ( do same at Shops whenever possible ) Elementary' old world technology !
D7 doing what it was built for... pushing enormous amounts of dirt. Clint and company did a marvelous job on it. Really noticed how much dirt you were pushing once you went into timelapse.
Quite a workout for the D7 to make a 5ft cut and 5ft fill at 200ft of pushing. But you're making the machine work efficiently. It'll be like the snap of your fingers and suddenly "wham", done! Thanks for the video, made me remember why I decided to retire 3yrs early.
Hey, Andres here watching from Puerto Rico. Do you think and if you can and have a chance to you show us an update on the big pond with the island where you used the huge Volvo dump truck? Love the videos. Thanks!
It's friggen' incredible that it's 20/25 degrees hotter up in Chris's are than here in Homestead florida just above the 18 mile streach to the Florida Keys. Most of the eastern U.S. is hotter than we are. At least we have an average 15 knot wind blowing in off the Atlantic ocea. It definitely makes it more livable down here. I would be surprised if Chris is guzzling a couple gallons of water a day or more to stay hydrated.
My dad had two Allis HD16’s cable operated when I grew up. Had a D6 hyd. And an Allis HD9 with a Drott Tilt dozer on it as well. Watching your video feels just like riding up there with him again. Thanks for posting these videos with the old iron….. Steve
Cab views are cool hands and feet constantly moving, but the tripod view shows what all the movement does with the machine. Great video as usual, Chris!!
Fantastic workhorse. Moves dirt with ease, great investment Chris. Made back when reliability was dominant, now days with all the government regulations heavy equipment is crippled by one little thing or another, occasionally sometimes making them critically inept. Long live raw horsepower.
the part 19:08 to 20:10 was really satisfying to watch. It was easy to see the transformation, you cutting the hill and filling the low parts. Great footage
I wondered if the horses were still in the pasture. Love the one standing on the graded area as if to say "I dare ya". Looks wonderful, Chris. This is going to be a nice arena for them. Thanks for sharing.
Love watching the D7 do what it was designed for. Only thing that would make it a little bit better would be a carry blade like Mike's 850. It's obvious that ground is very hard and compacted. The job just wouldn't be quiet big enough for the truck and excavator process. But almost a long push for a dozer. I think you have a great piece of equipment in the D7. Shame you don't have a cab with ac.
That's hot! Sheep's foot - decided to behave. D7 is such a great machine to watch - the sound is awesome. Komatsu is a neat, clean a 'cool' worker. Looks great LetsDig18 - horses are impressed too.
One thing about the old girl she's a beast for sure I would love to see you get a old d8 I love the old stuff especially a old cat there's just something about the sound of them plus all that old stuff it just keeps going up in value love the old crane and shovel great videos
D7 is a sweet running dozer, solid performer for sure. Look forward to the slicker up phase of the project, bet it’s going to look great. 112 degrees is hot, not fun to work in, been there done that, don’t wanna no more, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Hi mate love watching your work and love your old d 7 and d 6 especially yours they are in such great condition would love to own them my self keep up the good work
Love to see the old iron being put to work in a job it was built to do, despite it being considered used up and obsolete by today's standards. Some jobs require a delicate tack hammer while others call for a big old sledge.
The next Work Day by the Horse Arena building. You work with the Roller and the D7 to grading the great Place. Good Work, and a Hors have make a Expert from the new Soil condition. Very good Work . Thanks for this Video.
Yep that's a nice job. You got everything there. Even got some spectators. They like to watch your work. I take it and yes that Dozer it can push. Looking forward to the next one.👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Man that’s a lot of dirt moving today and i think the D7 is enjoying being off the farm pushing dirt like everyone says C-C equipment did you a solid on your buy 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
The D7 is the toy for this for sure bro. Coming along even with the temp way up there, about 44 and a half in our temp scale and would be cooking in my part of the world, that is something they see in Australia. Enjoyed the video anyway. Safe travels. Ken.
thanks Chris for another excellent video of the dozers moving dirt, that is extreme heat conditions, glad you can get into the aircon and cool down, take care ..
Some jobs are just made easier and faster by a bigger machine. Which falls right in with "No replacement for displacement". On top of which to fire off that quick and reliabily, for sure the D7 was an excellent addition to the fleet. Even if it's a "ambient contions cab" machine. Still better and more reliable than many newer pieces.
I believe he is pushing the dirt that’s being cut out to the point where it needs lifted and then uses the small dozer to do the lift and better grade Ray from Oregon
You do an awesome job with your work I found your channel a week ago so I've been watching the heck out of your videos.i bet you could pick up an egg with that excavator like you did your lunch.big fan ohio
Just curious...has Chris ever used the those ripper teeth on the back of the blade? Seems like when reversing you could be ripping as well. May not be applicable to this type of job.
Hey criss. Dumb question. Would the root rake teeth help break up the hardpan? I have never used a rake. Just curious? Like the new cable shovel and your channel.
Clint and Kevin really fixed you up with a "HOSS" dozier !!!
Chris you should build a ramp out of dirt, on your farm, so you back the trailer to and load your machines easily when they are all wet. I think you have the technology.

The ramp of trailer might not be rated for all the weight right on the edge
That is the nicest D7 in captivity
D7 doing what it was built for... pushing enormous amounts of dirt. Clint and company did a marvelous job on it. Really noticed how much dirt you were pushing once you went into timelapse.

The guys at C&C equipment did a great job on the dozer and boy does this thing love to work hard thnx for the video Chris
I like how well Kept your equipment is !!😊
Always enjoy the large pad builds!! It’s a different style of projects you do but always interesting!!
It's friggen' incredible that it's 20/25 degrees hotter up in Chris's are than here in Homestead florida just above the 18 mile streach to the Florida Keys.

We love Homestead, Florida City, Everglades National Park and the keys!
At least we do in the winter. :)
Hi Chris, I can relate to your heat! It's 110 here in Phoenix as I watch your video! Safety first - dirt second! Thumbs up! Jim
My dad had two Allis HD16’s cable operated when I grew up. Had a D6 hyd. And an Allis HD9 with a Drott Tilt dozer on it as well. Watching your video feels just like riding up there with him again. Thanks for posting these videos with the old iron….. Steve
Comment of the year imo. You had a great dad and he had a great kid. Peace.

I’m still amazed how much dirt the D7 moves. Amazing.👍👍👍
Nothing like the old iron.
That d7 runs real clean one of the best of its kind nice 👍
I always enjoy watching the various video's you put out.. I have never operated dirt moving equipment, but I am a fan....
Take care of yourself Chris, it's no joke working in those sort of temperatures. Make sure u get enough rest & hydration during ur day 🤔😏
This is the work for which a dozer was created. 😁
the part 19:08 to 20:10 was really satisfying to watch. It was easy to see the transformation, you cutting the hill and filling the low parts. Great footage

That D7 turn on better than a new Toyota!!!😂😂😂😂

Love this video Chris love the work you do , with the D7 and all your Equipment to .
Love the horses hanging out!!!!

Hi mate love watching your work and love your old d 7 and d 6 especially yours they are in such great condition would love to own them my self keep up the good work
Old D-7 cuts big holes in that hard pan!
That a lot of dirt moved . Looking good. Thanks
Love to see the old iron being put to work in a job it was built to do, despite it being considered used up and obsolete by today's standards. Some jobs require a delicate tack hammer while others call for a big old sledge.
Great job 👍🏻 33:13 the horse was saying great job Chris
That’s one bad Kitty! Love listening to that thing purr on my headphones!
The next Work Day by the Horse Arena building. You work with the Roller and the D7 to grading the great Place. Good Work, and a Hors have make a Expert from the new Soil condition. Very good Work . Thanks for this Video.

Always a good sound when you fire up the D7. Nice job moving dirt. Stay cool. Thanks for the video.
Always a pleasure to watch a good operator. 😎
Man that’s a lot of dirt moving today and i think the D7 is enjoying being off the farm pushing dirt like everyone says C-C equipment did you a solid on your buy 👍😎🇺🇸 NY

Yeah, freaking smoking HOT !! for sure Chris !! Looking good Man !! Great as Always !!, Have a Great Evening, And , On too the Next !!
i love the outside view when your on the D7 cause you more of perspective on how much earth your actually moving, that machine is a beast 💪👀👀👀👀
You talk about reliable. That old D7 is the most reliable piece of equipment on the market. It's bombproof and just seems to never fail.
❤❤❤ good thing you got some rain you would have been working in a dust bowl.
You cut some serious dirt with theD7,that is a work horse.good size arena.just keep doing what you do best.great video as always.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Be nice little job for a 631 scraper in front of your D 7. Move a bunch of that dirt in a hurry. Perfect material for that application.
thanks Chris for another excellent video of the dozers moving dirt, that is extreme heat conditions, glad you can get into the aircon and cool down, take care ..
We use old skid steer tracks to load stuff and keep from destroying asphalt and it works great
A D7 CAT is an excellent large (not HUGE) dozer. So dang right for a shitload of many difficult jobs
love your content. thank you for what you do.
Nice work D7 knocking it out with ease
Thats a lot of dirt moved for a days work!! Working with that kind of heat is "Hotter than a popcorn fart" 🥵
That d7 is a nice machine. The boys did a good job. Bravo from Victoria Australia
Chris, that`s a whole lot of work one blade at a time, it`s starting to take shape, thanks for taking us along.
I guess there are times when you wish you had a D11.. transport notwithstanding!
If you can find those traffic delineators the long plastic tubes used on the highway. To slip over the steel markers 🤔
Dirt perfect Jerry would be proud!😂
The ol cat sounds so good out working
It would have been great to see the 6 & the 7 working side by side, the sound would be awesome. Next time my be!!!
Its only when you see from the front view of the D7 we get the true picture of how potent she is at moving mountains of dirt.
It didn't take you long to knock that out Chris, very large pad area that looks really nice on my end. 👋
Nice side of working with clay after you get it broken loose. You can reshape and pack in another area.
D7 sure looks clean after that rain.
after a day on the D7 it must feel like you've done a marathon on your hands and knees
I always found old bias ply tires on ramps helped with sliding, no steel on steel
That D7 Is a beast, bet it eats diesel. Still a great looking and powerful machine.
I was in Charlotte the first part of the week - flat freaking miserable!
Kitty cat doesn't seem to have spinning tracks! Gotta be some tight clay!
Nice video Chris.
Definitely gotta have some ear protection for the D7!! What a beast
dude the d7 is sweet
The D7 is a thing of beuaty.👌
THAT D7 IS SWEET THAT C&C RESTORED
Be careful in that heat man. Y'all have a lot of humility there. Not dry like phoenix is.
IF YOU WERE BUILDING A POND THIS WOULD BE A GREAT PLACE THERE IS SO MUCH CLAY!!!😮😊..
Hint when loading steel drum machines when wet and or freezing use small gravel on ramps and deck for traction.
Gravel crushes and rolls like ball bearings.
Beautiful dozer 👌🏻👌🏻🤘🏼
its loking zo coet the d6 nice cooler tho great machin chris
It's a big aeena chris the D7 making light work for it Sunday morning 14th July
Nice work, as usual
Great videos
Just going to have to get a diamond C trailer....
the d7 a very nice machin chris and a very coller the
Do you think the ol' D7 needs a set of Rippers ?
I wondered the same.
Rippers are more for rock , not clay I would think.
On back of blade
That trailer has also earned its keep already!
C&C equipment, did you right on getting the best dozer for you to do this job right. Love to see her work.
THANKS!
Great Old dozer. Help me understand the point of piling dirt up only to go back and spread it out again instead Of leveling it every push.
I believe he is pushing the dirt that’s being cut out to the point where it needs lifted and then uses the small dozer to do the lift and better grade Ray from Oregon
112.....no way. I'll keep my butt in Michigan thanks!
You do an awesome job with your work I found your channel a week ago so I've been watching the heck out of your videos.i bet you could pick up an egg with that excavator like you did your lunch.big fan ohio
LetsDig18!😊
Should be able to push a lot more dirt with that 5 extra horsepower there. 😂
Put old rubber tracks on the ramps. It saves the wood while given steel tracks something to grip onto.
yeah Chris I live in south dakota and it's 100 here today
nice machine,,,
Just curious...has Chris ever used the those ripper teeth on the back of the blade? Seems like when reversing you could be ripping as well. May not be applicable to this type of job.
I think that Chris needs the 350 and Barney
Hey criss. Dumb question. Would the root rake teeth help break up the hardpan? I have never used a rake. Just curious? Like the new cable shovel and your channel.
