Flat, level, and hard packed clay should be a nice base for the arena. Great work as usual. I still love watching how you organize a job and get things done
Chris, maybe you should just do a in-depth video of Donny and a day in the life of transporting LD’s equipment. The truck, engine and a whole let’s meet Donny!
I've been watching your videos for years. Love all the equipment and you do a great job putting your content together. I'm glad to see how far you have come through the years.
That video on the day it was delivered....awesome..put it to work the same day...Clint had a blast on the 320 with the stumper....Kevin couldn't believe the size of that huge huge tree dropped with the 320. 👍🇺🇲⭐GoTeamLetsDig18⭐🇺🇲👍
Man Chris I know like that Komatsu but it sure sounds funny on occasion….now that Cat is music to the ears. The OCD of being out of square by one foot on a pad that size and you making adjustments is a testament to your perfectionist mentality!
I would say the D7 will earn its keep on this project, has to be nice to just cut loose and push dirt, and having a couple good dozers to work with. Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.
Finding the 953,D6 and D7 in good -great serviceable condition give you such great flexibility both in jobs you can do and time to hold several jobs ready to go just moving yourself!
Perfect example of why math is important to learn, the Pythagorean Theorem in action. Thanks for sharing that. You & Robert move dirt together really well. That's going to look so nice. Thank you for a great video, Chris. And it was nice to see Mr. Donnie as well.
Had an uncle in the coal industry. He taught me when running a dozer not to use the steering clutches when turning but to angle the blade right or left. Keeps from messing up the final drives. When you drop the dirt use the steering clutches to position your self for the next push
There are a few companies that make cabs for almost any Cat dozer of any vintage complete with air conditioning and heat. An enclosed cab would make things a little more pleasant especially on hot summer days. It would also help keep bugs out of your teeth and prevent being stung to death by the yellow jackets Chris often disturbs.
That trailer will pay for itself pretty quickly. Every time you haul the Komatsu dozer now is a time you don’t have to pay for transport. If we couldn’t transport our machines, we’d go bankrupt. Sometimes we have to travel 200+ miles.
Awesome music on your Timelapse, Chris! 👍🏻 Love watching the dozers pushin dirt, just think if yall would’ve had the D-7 and the D-6 goin at it! Be two monsters movin some soil, fast! 👌🏻
How about all of us letsdig18 Followers Put comment about how Chris got us into his channel Myself I used to work around dirt work with heavy equipment operators as a swamper greaser All around gopher So first time I saw him he was ditching out a swamp an taking out beverdams Which I think is cool Bring back the memories of Chris
I have a PJ trailer with the 10' hydraulic dovetail and haul a dozer about the same size on it. I hate unloading because of the tracks slipping on the tail. I have discovered that to eliminate the slipping, throw two old tires on the tail where the tracks come down after breaking over the pivot. They land on the tires and stick very well. I haven't had a machine slip on the tires yet.
Not being a dozer operator, And watching Chris having to bob from side to side to see the blade. I've always wondered if it would be advantageous to swap the cab and engine around.? So that the engine is at the rear and the driver Is sitting more or less over the top of the blade and has better visibility to see what they're pushing. Leave, Same or Better, Everything Be Kind ☮️🙋🏻♂️
Great to see the D7 back in action bro, you and Robert work in well together. Yeah the big dozer sure moves some dirt when moving dirt is called for. Any more than basic maths and I am lost. Safe travels. Ken.
The new Order, building a great Horse Arena. A little Challenge. Then You and the D7 Dozer a unity from much big Power. The Result to see in the Video. 💪👌👍
I grew up around farmers and Dad graded being coalminers I also went to work in the mines there is nothing like that old iron getting it done could watch it work all day
The D7 sure does move some dirt but it looks like a good rip to the soil would help out a lot. Yes Like the idea of a day with Donny. Could be interesting to see what he has and what he moves during a typical day.
That D7 is a BRUTE of a machine. It baffles me how something so big is so “easy” to control. The steering levers look like they have such a light pull on them to make them work so effectively. Things that make you go “hmm….” Lol.
TweeD7 going off to a job. Kenny Komatsu taking Robert for a ride across the grass - start of a good project. Think about short pieces of orange fiberoptic conduit for marking lines or corners. 100ft x200ft was the size of my parent`s half acre lot where I grew up.
'dressage' arena? These horse farm jobs are always really satisfying jobs to watch for the viewer - and I think you too, if I remember correctly from the last one (where you built a smaller horse thingy here a few of years back?).
2000yds is quite a bit of work for the D7 but it’ll feel good when you’re done. It’s good seeing the results you’ll accomplish pushing the dirt the long distance.
Some Ol' Dirt Cutting Boyz from way back !! lolol... Looks like that clay is a touch hard there Chris !! But, the Ol' 7 is getting her cut right on down , shouldn't take to long at all to get that one laid on out, looks like ya got a good jump on it already !! Great as Always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
I've been hoping Chris would keep a swamper on job for him Be very helpful keeping tracks clean making measurements on cable shot He or she could keep his equipment Clean in cab windows seat ect ect Last guy I work for he wanted his Glass Clean every morning Plus inside his cab guy smoke cigars want his ash try dump out Every day sometimes 3 times a day when I greased if I got messy With it he'd have calf with wire tail But was great guy to work for If we where doing tree jobs I'd cut Limps he kept me busey doing Everything sometimes he would bring his own dozer it was cable operated Stick shift not many guys on job Could use it
Flat, level, and hard packed clay should be a nice base for the arena.

Chris, maybe you should just do a in-depth video of Donny and a day in the life of transporting LD’s equipment. The truck, engine and a whole let’s meet Donny!
What a great idea 💡
Yes, I second that idea
I was just thinking the same thing as he was loading the dozer. He's a big part of letsdig18.
i like that
It’s an easy video for someone to skip if it’s not of interest.
I've been watching your videos for years. Love all the equipment and you do a great job putting your content together. I'm glad to see how far you have come through the years.
I bet Clint loves everytime you use the D7. Shows off his machine he built for you and the free advertising with his sticker. Lmao...
Great video
C&C does a nice restore and most importantly a great paint job. Lock great so far
That video on the day it was delivered....awesome..put it to work the same day...Clint had a blast on the 320 with the stumper....Kevin couldn't believe the size of that huge huge tree dropped with the 320.

The D7 dozer is truly a beast when it comes to moving dirt! 💪
Yes, that’s what it’s for moving dirt & lots of it
its the perfect machine for pushing dirt when you planning to build something for horsing around.., pardon the pun.
And building runways in a hurry
Donnie has a sweet truck!! Always looks good with the old iron in it!!
Cris, you sure do take pride in your work. Keep up with how you are making your customers happy 😊
Chris is a good old country boy that know how to work smart and hard Chris is the best on any equipment
That D7 dozer is a beast, it sounds great, love the stainless pipe sticking out of the hood.
Love watching the D7 at work! What a great machine!
I love watching the D6 and D7 pushing dirt. Great video, Chris.
Looking forward to New Cabin Update.
Hope it’s going well.
Be safe and prosper
C&C did a really nice rehab job on that dozer
That D7 nice piece of equipment ,Clint found you a gem
That D-7 cranks up better than I do in the morning. But I am a decade or two older than it.
Finding the 953,D6 and D7 in good -great serviceable condition give you such great flexibility both in jobs you can do and time to hold several jobs ready to go just moving yourself!

Multiply any number by 3, 4, and 5 and the sums will measure a perfect 90 degrees.
Had an uncle in the coal industry. He taught me when running a dozer not to use the steering clutches when turning but to angle the blade right or left. Keeps from messing up the final drives. When you drop the dirt use the steering clutches to position your self for the next push
Takes the input shaft out
Good to see the D7 in action ! :)
Thx god you made a full D7 video! Thx Chris!
I love this style of Cat! I first learnt in a similar D6. You certainly get a workout operating one of these.
D7 is the machine! ❤❤❤
6.25 It just sounds hot!!! Were in Va these past two weeks have been bad. 95+
I’m beginning to believe that I could live comfortably on what you spent on equipment transportation.
Grand old D7 looks great doing what it does best - moving dirt. Love the red dirt too.
That trailer will pay for itself pretty quickly. Every time you haul the Komatsu dozer now is a time you don’t have to pay for transport. If we couldn’t transport our machines, we’d go bankrupt. Sometimes we have to travel 200+ miles.

Time to put the back rippers on the blade to the test Chris - and see wotcha got 😊
Yes, my thought exactly, don’t waste your time when backing up make the push a little easier.
I love seeing the old iron working
Looks good Chris! I Love to see dirt being moved. I’ll bet you wish you had a ripper before this is over…lol. Thanks for the video….

I used to farm & hired dirt work done, then drove a truck for many years.
Sure do enjoy watching progress

I throw down a rubber mat and it works pretty good

I highly advise wearing earplugs when running your D-7. 👍🍻🇺🇲
He was wearing ear plugs. :)

Yes, Chris is no dummy, got to protect the ears
Great to see the D7 back in action bro, you and Robert work in well together. Yeah the big dozer sure moves some dirt when moving dirt is called for. Any more than basic maths and I am lost. Safe travels. Ken.
That is a very nice dozer. The paint come out nice on that....
I’d imagine Donny has moved a few of those cable shovels back in the day 😊.
I love that D7. It fired right up and if it could talk it say let’s get to work pushing some dirt. lol Nice video Chris. Your the best👍👍👍
No messing about on this job with the D7 on the case! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
My grandpa had a cable D9. This reminds of the old days
Amazing how fast that dirt got moved when I sped up my view to 1.75%!!😂
I just saw a van in the back ground. I didn’t see Amazon on it. So I can surmise that Geoff was sending you, your payment. 😂😂😂
I assumed it was workers on his cottage. :)
He must be paying him in fish cause thats a fridge van my dude
Nah, Geoff's payments arrive by armored car. ;-)
Actually, that would be an armored car.
@@nicklomax6205 yes I did see that unit on the top of the van and it could have been an AC unit . Beside it was a JOKE !
No fair Chris your dozer is bigger than his. Oh well he start soon. It's all even. But I love seeing the D7 work. It's like art work.
That D7 is a beautiful machine...
So good to see the old D-7 pushing dirt
D7 sure lets you know it’s got a turbo can hear that baby screaming. Nothing beats the sound track of these old machines
On a project like that it would be awesome to see all 3 of your dozers out there pushing dirt. Just missing the D6.
Not fast, not fancy, but something so satisfying about pushing dirt with a big old piece of Cat iron.....!
The new Order, building a great Horse Arena. A little Challenge. Then You and the D7 Dozer a unity from much big Power. The Result to see in the Video. 💪👌👍
Love the sound of those old CATs
AMAZING WORK AS ALWAys!!
The D7 was a great addition to the fleet between the 350 and the 7 you sure can move so dirt great video thanks Chris and Robert
Hi Chris your D 7 Cat, sure can push and Love it .🍺🍺🍺
You and Robert do great work. Thanks for sharing. 😍💖😎
"The Beast".. The old D7 is one of my favourite dozer in your collection. Great video Chris !
I grew up around farmers and Dad graded being coalminers I also went to work in the mines there is nothing like that old iron getting it done could watch it work all day
The D7 AND a chicken.
love watching the dozers pushing the dirt..
You may have found an excuse to get a ripper attachment for the dozer if your going to be pushing so much hard clay. Cheers Chris.
Great work Chris. Have a great weekend. Beat the heat
Good morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your day ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice job for the old seven
I keep waiting for Chris to follow in JPaydirt's footsteps and get a D9.
They could have had a nice pond with that clay. Imagine, an arena overlooking a pond.
All your equipment is in great clean shape you should be proud.
Looking good .
The D7 is my favorite!
Looks like great clay for a pond dam .
Old school back in business!!💪🤗🇺🇸
Like different angle for the cab. Show how much skill Chris uses. Makes viewing more interesting.
The D7 sure does move some dirt but it looks like a good rip to the soil would help out a lot.
Yes Like the idea of a day with Donny. Could be interesting to see what he has and what he moves during a typical day.
Great job 👍🏻
Thank you and have great day.
Would be interesting to see the blade rippers in action
Full on beast mode 👍😎🚜

Kevin from c&c still undergoing counseling after watching the first push of dirt with the “new” D-7 and his best paint job
TweeD7 going off to a job. Kenny Komatsu taking Robert for a ride across the grass - start of a good project. Think about short pieces of orange fiberoptic conduit for marking lines or corners. 100ft x200ft was the size of my parent`s half acre lot where I grew up.

Man, that D7 is a gem. Don't ever sell that one.
2000yds is quite a bit of work for the D7 but it’ll feel good when you’re done. It’s good seeing the results you’ll accomplish pushing the dirt the long distance.
THANKS!
Chris can we get a drone shot of how much dirt that old blade is really moving
One of the very few projects it would have been nice having a ripper on that machine
Want to see that d6 and d7 push some dirt!!!
Some Ol' Dirt Cutting Boyz from way back !! lolol... Looks like that clay is a touch hard there Chris !! Love that camera angle/view at 10:30 +
I will echo what others have said that seven sure could use some rippers.
I've been hoping Chris would keep a swamper on job for him
Be very helpful keeping tracks clean making measurements on cable shot
He or she could keep his equipment
Clean in cab windows seat ect ect
Last guy I work for he wanted his
Glass Clean every morning
Plus inside his cab guy smoke cigars want his ash try dump out
Every day sometimes 3 times a day when I greased if I got messy
With it he'd have calf with wire tail
But was great guy to work for
If we where doing tree jobs I'd cut
Limps he kept me busey doing
Everything sometimes he would bring his own dozer it was cable operated
Stick shift not many guys on job
Could use it
I just bought a 69 D7E to the collection lol
And a 980c cat loader
Thanks 👍
I like the old equipment but I need hearing protection when you're operating the D7.
Nice video Chris.
Don’t forget your front rippers, rip backing up push going forward. Would probably help break that hard clay up for easier push
I don't wanna scratch the paint up on them 😂😂
