  • Some of the rather larger cleanups we have on our list. Like always, the two big blowers: Windstorm and Hurricane made all these jobs a breeze. At some points the piles in the woods from all the tarping and pushing were reaching about 5 feet in height.

    i bought a Billy Goat 2000 and it definitely cut times and get me through gates. money well spent for a few weeks. And your definitely correct some of these big companies are running in the red by not buying the right equipment to get the job job to make money.

    Believe me those big blowers are worth every penny it pays for itself after some big jobs they'll last for years to come if you take care of it . I used to push cut 40 lawns a week for a year till i got my first walk bebind and trailer then got more account's then bought another walk behind. Both were 48in had a velkie on one and got to a 150 lawns a week. That was before they even had the zero turns sit down riders or the stsnd up riders. So it was over 30 yrs ago. Loved doing landscaping and cutting lawns but a rain day or two could really make the week go into Saturday's and Sunday's and that would pretty much suck cause then you were back to your Monday's account's again. People don't get it when time is money you need big blowes mowers and leaf suckers to do the job right and in a time conserving matter. Very nice work fellas. Great video enjoy watching it.

    I get it. I understand what your saying. Location, location ,location with the 2 big blowers. I'm in love with them. Comprehend your format in getting the work done . 8 properties..HUGE! 7 need those big blowers?? No wonder you're able to knock out 8 huge properties. Would like to invest in 2 of those big blowers myself.

    Thats awesome to have both of the big dawg blowers. I got the billy goat x3000 last fall because it seemed like the best fit for my properties and man I couldn't do leaf season without it now. Such valuable machines

    Back pack blower would take to much time and eventually there would be some much leafs that it just would blow any more, this stand on blowers with the property you guys have are very justified 👌

    Great video. So which stand on blower is more powerful and which one do you like better and why? Thanks!

    • @ziggybrothers
      @ziggybrothers  Před 8 měsíci +1

      On paper I believe the hurricane has more power. But the windstorm is not far behind at all. Because of the manuevarability of the windstorm with the nozzle and mechanical parking brake, we will never buy a hurricane blower again. The productivity is unmatched for our jobs. New video will be coming at some point on our standpoint on this.

    What do you think about states that are restricting / eliminating gas powered lawn tools like blowers. I think its insane and will people out of business or you will be telling customers you can not perform some services anymore. I owned a home in River Edge NJ with a lot of trees and by hand with a rake was exhausting even at 30yo. Than I got a 10.5 billy goat OMG what a difference.

      Simple, use a Billy goat or little wonder. It will take longer, but will still be effective and will get the job done.

    How do companies like yours charge for these huge properties? Is it hourly, per man? Is it more for a suck-up finish? Just generally curious.

    • @ziggybrothers
      @ziggybrothers  Před rokem +7

      We charge based on each individual property. Mostly by size. We can do a video on how we break down our pricing

  • @Wilson-bg4cg
    @Wilson-bg4cg Před rokem

    Which blower do you guys like best? The windstorm or the z3000?

    • @ziggybrothers
      @ziggybrothers  Před rokem

      Definitely the windstorm. We were originally on the hurricane side preaching that before we got the windstorm. We will never buy a hurricane again because the windstorm maneuverability and the nozzle blow the hurricane away in our opinion. That and the carb engine on the hurricane and parking brake is nothing but trouble. We are going to make another video this fall outlining all of that

    • @Wilson-bg4cg
      @Wilson-bg4cg Před rokem

      @@ziggybrothers thank you, I had requested the Z3000 initially bit after more Research. I've changed to the windstorm. My main issue is the Direct drive versus the pto drive. I'm thinking the Direct drive is too much stress on everything, including the engine. A appreciate your input very much !
