LOOKS, acceleration, POWER, braking, ride quality…10.
Where it lacks is TOP SPEED and full power being limited to 5 seconds so 1/4 mile runs suffer tremendously.
Outside of that, this would be the EV to beat

I am the proud owner of a 2022 GT-P. This same exact car and color… Love it. Gets a lot of looks and I get asked a lot questions (because it is not a common car in this trim level and since it’s debut in 2021 I have seen exactly TWO. Mine and one in Grabber Blue)
And it is PERFECT for my daily commutes (merging onto the highway, passing etc)
And like most people, I don’t do 1/4 mile track runs, but it would be nice to know that it would be capable if I chose to do one.
And I really hate seeing videos of the Tesla eating the Mach-E’s lunch on top end after 5 seconds because of the limitations that Ford has put on this vehicle when it comes to output. With well over 600 lbs of torque, Ford should’ve at least made the power supply durable enough to be a 1/4 mile BEAST!
But she is a awesome daily driver and will destroy pretty much anything that pulls up beside it from “light to light” 😎
2023 GT PE here. Rating a solid 9. Maybe loses that one point mostly because it needs a 91 kWh battery to do what it does.
Startling performance, incredible suspension, strong brakes , comfortable. Much higher quality and more premium than the two examples of Model Y Performance that I tested.
Blue Cruise works better than Tesla FSD and Super Cruise.

Hey great review. I think it would be nice if you could give some details about the sound systems in the cars you test, i think it would improve the reviews.
How would you rate this vs the KIA ev 6 GT and BYD HAN? The driving performance that is.
Not tried the ev6 gt, yet. Have it scheduled for September. But the driving dynamics of the Ford is a whole nother story than the HAN. Lot more fun and engaging to drive.
@@ItsOnlyElectric The HAN is about being civilised. MACH-E GT has another agenda.
Got the point with the sound system. For the Mach e and the BO system: strong mids and a bit too sharp tops and lows a bit too weak and not low enough so some deeper base tones disappear. Rattling sounds from the front doors on higher volumes.

Yes unfortunately. At least the GT.
Compared with Nio ET5. Mustang is more funny and dynamic or ET5?
That is a really though question! I think the Mustang is a bit more practical but the ET5 with the 100kWh battery would be my choise. Mustang more fun to drive and feels a bit more aggressive though but bad efficiency.
If it only was up to driving fun, I would go for the Mach E GT
@@ItsOnlyElectric Maybe if you choose e-pedal always can help the efficiency in Mustang because I see some videos always says the same, it's fun a lot very sensitive accelerator pedal, i think it's mean like a petrol car getting up and down gears. With the ET5, do you think can make 300km highway at 130km/h? (I see in other video from you that the Mustang can't) Then I think the Mustang is more fun than ET5 in sport plus mode ET5. The NIO ET5 Touring is amazin beauty, same practical. There are a video in Out of Spec channel now.

Yes I think 300km in 130km/h with 100kWh pack is possible in the Nio.

@@ItsOnlyElectric omg so simple to find - the Mach-E GT only ever gets 5 consecutive seconds of full-power, which ultimately makes this incredibly disappointing to drive after a while… Fords give a lot of cash to hide this …..
@zilboubmalyzayatsky5466 ok, borrowed it for s range test so the short review was a bonus..but tried it against the Model y Performance and the model u was a lot quicker the Ford seems to dire pretty quick after 100km/h. Äbut it's really fun to drive and the suspension is wonderful.
