STUNT MEN REACT To Bad & Great Hollywood Stunts 30 - Reaction! | Corridor Crew

  • It's no secret that I'm a fan of Chris Cowan and was so impressed with his work with Marvel in Shang-Chi. So naturally, I had to watch his episode on Corridor Crew's Stuntmen React. He joins Niko and Yung Lee on the famed couch as they dissect bad and great Hollywood stunts. I am also joined by Lorena Abreu who is also a parkour expert and super talented stunt woman herself. Keep an eye out for her in the upcoming Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness (although if everyone did their job right you shouldn't be able to recognize her at all 😉)

Jaby doesn’t know physics 5:25. Agent smith punches Neo straight on. There was no uppercut which would result in an arch type fall.

The Old Republic cinematics for those games were better than the sequel trilogy lightsaber duels. They did in 5 minutes what JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson couldnt do in 2 hours plus. I do want fights like that in Star Wars again. It doesnt have to be every lightsaber battle i see, but if you've got a fight prepared with lightsabers and force-sensitive characters who can defy gravity, do backflips, do tricking stunts, bounce off of things like parkour......thats what we wanted to see, but what we got was kinda standard for the most part with the sequels.

Before training started on the Matrix, Keanu had 3 of his vertebrae fused, so that impacted why he looks so stiff in the film

I didn't see it mentioned in the video, but for those who don't know, the "They Live" fight starred wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper and voice acting legend Keith David. The Saints Row 4 video game paid tribute to this fight. One of your compatriots in the game is actually Keith David, voiced by Keith David. At one point, you must chase down Keith David in a Matrix-style simulation, with assistance by a digital recreation of Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Agent Smith punches Neo straight on his chest. How do you expect an upward fall of Neo, forming a curve? Where's the physics? 😅

There is one part in that fight from The Matrix that I found really bad ... it was very slow and you could actually see little pauses, as if they tried to remember what the next move in the choreography was. This part: czcams.com/video/7GSgWzmR_-c/video.html

Great reactions of a great reactions vid (wondering if someone is going to react to your video, just to make it even more Inception-like) !
Some really great points made into both of them. Not only about action choreographies but also the logic of filmmaking in general.
PS : I have a big crush on Lorena ! She's not only super cute, pretty and fun, but also kicks some serious ass, knows very much what she's talking about for editing and parkour and WHAT THE SHIT, NOW !??? SHE'S WORKING IN DR. STRANGE 2 !!!? Damn ! This girl's awesomeness is getting meteoric !

The whole “making movies for genz/millennials” is such a bullshit thing these producers do because the movies flop anyways so then….what was the point. what was the point of trying to draw in the no attention span kids with all the chaotic quick cuts and treadmill pace when even their target audience is like “na this is ass”. They’ve been doing this shit since 2013, if they didn’t like it 9 years ago when they were little shits then what makes producers think they’re gonna like it now when they’re pushing adulthood where they’re more mature? I just don’t get it.

Monster Hunter had a total worldwide return of $42 million. The Budget was estimated to be $60 million with another $30 million for marketing. Ad onto the fact that the studio will typically only receive 60% of the revenue, the studio only received $25.2 million for the movie. Monster Hunter was a substantial flop. Honestly, everyone could tell it was crap from the trailers.

Dude, why label people prequel apologists? It's basically dismissing their opinions. That's messed up. People legitimately like the prequels because they think they are good. Same with the sequels, even if I personally don't like them (sequel) I'm not gonna throw shade. I've always liked the prequels and I know many first time watchers that do as well as people that didn't like them initially but went back and liked them upon sequent views. Just labeling fans as apologists is disappointing.

I'll disagree on the prequel fight being best, even though it's up there. Episode 8 had the best lightsaber battle in the 9 film saga. Visceral, not too many cuts, and it was compelling story-wise seeing Rey fight cooperatively with her enemy.

You talking about that red room fight scene? Imo, it was really lazy choreography which had good intentions behind it but still lazy choreography.
