Since you watched this you should check out the Pitch Meeting for Mulan. That is easily the most accurate description I've heard of the film.
DEFINITELY
Yess. This.
Megan before the reaction: I loved it. Watched it twice.
Megan after the reaction: There were definitely a few problems with it. That scene...
That Sword Art Off-line I can't be the only one noticing it's revers Sword Art Online the anime.
oh my God. just yesterday I watched this movie, and jaby posts this. omg!! its crazyyy😄
Thanks for making us happy in these sad days. From a fan in iran
Apart from *The Jungle Book* all the other Disney's Animation to live action adopted films which I have seen Totally sucked 💩
But the problem is despite all the bad reviews and criticism they won't going to stop as long as they keep making profits out of these films
But I also quite liked Cinderella
Radhakrishnan Nair Same it was much better and not to much changes because they do there research properply as well. I loved it.
Now that's what I'm not getting...How tf are they making profits? Don't ppl have any shame watching these crappy remakes and making them money😂😅
Cinderella was good. It was a genuinely new take on the story and actually make a lot of elements from the story make more sense than other versions.
@GETJaby Honestly I think Megan should’ve played Mulan, she was perfect for this role. I left a comment on her Instagram too and I was lucky she replied. 😍😍
Personally don’t watch live action remakes that Disney does, not watching this one either it seems.
Aladdin was much better than Mulan. It’s the second best live action for me after Jungle Book.
watched Aladin in the in the theater.. when they started that bs Jasmin scene, i stood up, and left..
MR Dot1 you do you.
Aladdin was equally bad
Beauty and the Beast was the best for me.
My favorite of Jon's is the Council Leader from XCOM.
The gender reveal reference is in reference to the fires in California. One of the large fires consuming California was started by a gender reveal gone wrong.
Hi Jaby... where is achara....love your vedios always
So early Ohh my GOd!! ♥️
Hoping it’s a good one when i get to see it
I was entertained too. Watched it twice as well.
Great reaction and will you guys ever react to the Star Wars with Tommy Wiseau? I know you reacted to the short 2 minute one but they released a longer nearly 20 minute one. Its worth checking out
That's a good mind set identify the things you don't like forgive it and move forward nice
First! Even before Jaby's caption
Next video react to powfu

4. Talk tomorrow
5. A world of chaos
6. Popular girl typical boy
7. Life is changing
7:01 oh the shade😂
I actually liked some of these Disney remakes. Aladdin was my favourite, and in its defence, Jasmine did become Sultan at the end.
That was a great Honest Trailer for a disappointing mess. Oh Mulan, we needed you.

"MELEE" 😂
The problem of making good quality movies with strong females is the fact people are so quick to say it's copying a white male formula which if you look at history of films all movies are copying a formula of some type that was based on a male perspective. What's funny is china which is kinda oppressive had strong female fighters playing leads in films especially martial art films b4 the US did.if the alien movies were made today you'd complain that they were shoehorning a female lead in. God forbid if they came out with Terminator now. Y'all would think Sarah connors was just thrown in for female empowerment. When she's actually a badass.
Ofcourse.. we all hated mad max fury road, Alita etc. right?
Hi Guys, could you please react to endhiran action sequences..I'm sure it'll be fantastic.
Awesome😀.
Pls react to Rj Abhinav Faad magician btw where is achara
Hey Jaby just for fun whenever you say "May Lay" I hear died.. (try audio translation of it from Marathi to English and you will understand) But this makes me laugh every time
Lovey bro

Missed opportunity not doing a back to back with the cartoon Mulan HT, its hilarious how off the mark HT was on that one.
Would have been a better experience in the cinema even though the new take on the story was a bit of a let down from the original.
Hey GETJaby, are you a Nickelodeon fan? Can you do a trailer reaction to The Orange Years: The Nickelodeon Story documentary? It's premiering on On Demand November 17th, 2020!!!
You must know this film, please react to the trailer for the film "Gundala Putra petir"
That's my kinda girl
No Bobvagene here , shoo go away
@@inkdew5620 dude 😂😂
@@inkdew5620 who's Robert Vagene?
The CHIIIII thing is the worst. In a real Wuxia story they don't even talk about chi; just like they don't talk about mana in Harry Potter but just do magic.
They do talk about Midichlorians though :P
There are people actually love it?
That's a surprise.
Well, I kinda liked the Green Lantern movie, so this is not much of a stretch :))
Besides, I liked the animated Mulan... the live action Jungle Book... not so much, though. Haven't watched this live action Mulan yet so can't say much about it... this video looked interesting though, so I might give it a shot.
Bro please react to bandish bandits episode by episode
End of the report: LOVE YOUR PARENTS 🙏
Go watch Mulan: Rise of the Warrior (2009)
is it any good? I remember the trailer but it looked kinda heavy
@@Siegbert85 it is absolutely good. I love it. it is emotional though.
Cinderella is hands down the best Disney live action.
and that's setting the bar low
Please watch honest trailers streaming services
Jaby .......!! Better- ZAYN
Sup guyssssss❤💙💚💛💜
And it had Jet Li NOT kicking butt.
You NEED to watch and react to the Screen Rant's Mulan pitch meeting video: czcams.com/video/j_USHuhOqyk/video.html
It's hilarious.
Agree with Jaby!! The movie Sucked!! I wasted so much of my time on it
DISNEY'S MULAN pitch meeting...
oohh, remaking popular animated movies is TIGHT!
You want an Epic War movie with Musical level soundtrack and choreography - hire an Indian Director. How hard is that? Oh yeah - it's a Chinese story. Sorry my bad.
Which Indian director has directed an epic war movie? Closest I can think of is Baahubali, but that wasn't epic in terms of its combat scenes.
@@loganbigmo Well, Bahubali was made on a far smaller budget than your usual Disney flick. Even Ashutosh Gowariker and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have both made movies like Jodha Akbar, Padmavat and Bajirao Mastani. In more modern era war movies, J.P Dutta has made Border and LOC Kargil, Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya may not have been a full-on war movie but the war portions and soundtrack of the movie were bomb. Add to that so many filmmakers that have the skills to make one, but lack the resources. They could blow minds away like few can if they get Disney level financial backing and marketing. There are many Indian filmmakers that can strike a fine balance between showing cool action and making you invested in their characters emotionally.
The issue with the film is that stripped away all the details that made the poem of Mulan a worthy story by adding the ridiculous supernatural powers, when it was her been simply a woman that wants so save her father the motivation for everything she does, not gender roles or society or female empowerment. And all the cultural aspects and symbols they tried to utilize they did it completly wrong.
Many who have criticised Mulan pointed out that the reason for its failure is due to the lack of Chinese talents behind the camera (white director, producers, writers, designer etc). But I think that's irrelevant. There have been movies made by directors whose cultural background were different from the movies they made. For example "The Last Emperor" by Bernardo Bertolucci, "Gandhi" by Richard Attenborough (both won a lot awards), "Sense and Sensibility" by Ang Lee. Ang Lee is Chinese but he nailed a very feminine and very British movie. Also it's not completely true that Disney didn't consult with Chinese experts. Bill Kong was one of the producers of Mulan. He's a film producer mainly active in Hong Kong and internationally. His producer credits are among others House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Tiger, and many more.
Having said that I agree that the problem with Mulan 2020 is the confusing tone. Disney trying so hard to please both Western and Chinese audience has created a messy movie. But they were not aware that not all Chinese audiences are the same. The Chinese diaspora outside China and the Chinese in China are not quite the same. Chinese are not monolith so Disney should have considered that too. Also the overdramatizing family devotion, self-sacrifice, and the over-emphasizing patriotism and heroism makes this movie unfortunately dull. My guess is that with Mulan 2020 Disney tried to combine the 2009 Mulan Rise of a A Warrior (made by China) and 1998 animated Mulan. There are scenes in Mulan 2020 that remind me of Mulan Rise of a Warrior. If I'm not mistaken the name of Mulan's horse in 2009 Mulan is also Black Wind. Also in 2009 Mulan the enemy are the Rouran. It seems that what Disney tried to do. But unfortunately it didn't work.
So the inconsistency in costume design, setting, lack of general knowledge of Chinese culture, woke-ivitist plot and complete and utter derivation from character traits that actually mattered or the unfulfilled promise of a more 'accurate to history adaptation' has nothing to do with the movie being a steaming pile of aromatic shit ?
@@Prof.SeverusSnape //So the inconsistency in costume design, setting, lack of general knowledge of Chinese culture//
No. Personally I think these are not the ones that make Mulan 2020 a bad movie or at least an OK movie. There have been lots of movies that contain cultural or even historical inaccuracies and still did well. Even most biopics which are literally based on real events contain historical inaccuracies. Even the 1998 Mulan contains these problems. Mulan's father in the animated wears the Japanese hairstyle called chonmage and yet he's a Chinese? Disney did a lot of changes with 1992 animated Aladdin. The original story of Aladdin in book 1001 Nights is completely different from Aladdin 1992. But audiences overlooked and forgave these inaccuracies and loved both animated adaptations anyway. So far there's no historical or archaeological proof that Mulan did exist. It exists in a poem The Ballad of Mulan which is a literary work just like Aladdin. People have the freedom to adapt these stories into movies according whatever interpretation. It's up to the audience whether they like the adaptation or not. It's really subjective.
So why can't they forgive Mulan 2020? In my opinion, the main reason is that Disney tried too hard to please Western audience and appeal Chinese domestic audience at the same time but they ended up disappointing both ironically. Mulan 2020 was definitely meant to do better in China because the animated didn't do that well in China. They chose an actress from China, they did consult experts in China, etc. Even one of the producers was a well-know Chinese film producer. Unfortunately these didn't pay off. Mulan 2020 didn't just fail in China, it did too in others. Disney should just stop their attempt to crack the Chinese market.
Not only were they trying to please too many, they were also too afraid to offend, they ended up having a plain boring and flat movie. In this case, I do agree with you that trying to be woke caused this movie to fail miserably.
Jaby why don't you invite John Bailey to your react videos?
I refuse to watch any Disney remake, I won't let them ruin my childhood. Mulan was great as it was. Disney needs to stop that shit.
I don't watched camp bad read online pulling the boys
Wait...What’s the Gender Reveal Party joke???!!
Edit: Shit never mind...

Please please react movie name ( Vinaya vidhya rama) ultimate fight scene available in you tube it's 12 minutes fight scene
Worst adaptation ever...
Way to go Disney 🤮
Calling something bad is easier than acknowledging the good qualities of a flawed movie.
I enjoyed the animated Mulan bc its a fun watch but the remake was pretty forgettable.
Man, that Robin Hood movie was an utter disappointment. So many poor decisions :(
I still want a good Robin Hood movie again... I keep going back to the Kevin Costner one despite its age and his lack of a proper English accent.
@Gevorg1989 You mean the Kingsman guy
Is it bad to say anime was dopeeee...

I’m sorry but your guest doesn’t know what a good movie is
