Just as good as you remember? did you only start watching in 2020 then lose touch with Soda? He has changed massively and gotten worse and worse for about 3 years and is now basically just a veteran streamer. Now makes no jokes. NO jokes. He has a bunch of topics he doesn't talk about or is way too serious about and ruins the whole vibe of a stream because some random person in chat said something that minorly upset him.
I get that it's always 'well u leave then if u dont like the content', I will, but I HATE THAT because I believe it kills criticism. Every time someone gets sick of a creator they are just told to leave but then do fanbases not remain entirely an echochamber, full of only people who always like what the content creator does? That's what I believe soda now has. He does not make good content but his fanbase is purely made up of people who will swear to disagree, and it doesn't matter if he starts making MLP content, he would still retain, fans that do not complain and those fans would still say he's the GOAT.
Soda has undeniably gotten worse only a fool would deny. He makes nothing burger content now, playing whatever game just came out with no commentary, and his stans will pretend they are enjoying it. As he just kind of walks through a game.
If soda started streaming as he is today, he'd get no subs. He's streamed for 10+ years and has been snowballing that whole time.

Enjoying this on my steam deck way more then diablo on my ps5 and series x skills way more fun.
I want the graphics and snappy/responsive feeling of D4 with build depth of LE/POE and the full mmorpg exprience of Lost Ark. But no P2W or shitty asset swap.

These bots 😂 It looks like an "amazing" low budget regression of PoE, which is already a low budget D3, which released, get this, 12 years ago.
The only thing D4 has on it is story. Gameplay is great, build variety is great, crafting system is great, being able to actually target loot end game is great, loot filter is great, etc. LE has all this and D4 can't even get a fucking gem bag. It's also half the price of D4 with no mtx.@@vabbiq8584

@@nikovz4719PoE2 has been around the corner for like 5 years now... and even today their projected release is 2025 (aka a literal year away minimum) so idk why so many people bring it up. LE is a fun game for anyone that doesn't want a second job playing PoE, and i say this as someone with thousands of hours on PoE.

diablo 4 is used to be a solid 8.5 this season its maybe a 7, but I'm just glad there's another decent ARPG besides D4 and Lost Ark (I hate Lost Ark now though)
ARPG genre has sucked for a decade, besides Grim dawn and seasons 0 and 1 of Diablo IV, hopefully they get back on track.
I'll probably try this if it goes free to play or like 80% off, not paying $35 for a 6/10 on Steam

@nAh yes PoE the kings of graphic design, famous for classics such as "Blood red spell effects on a blood themed boss in a blood red arena, also theres random pools that will kill you and are also red" and "black and white foggy zone with fog themed enemies that cast fog colored attacks".
Anyone who has played PoE even a little seriously knows the graphical design is not a highlight.

Last Epoch is a great ARPG i agree, but it is not "raising the standard"
It is actually now a classic formulae, the ARPG genre has stagnated..
We need something actually fresh and new that breaks away from the traditional made up "rules"
D4 miserably failed, PoE is still the master, but this is still old stuff
hopefully PoE 2 will raise the standard with its unique combat with WASD
Comparing all the ARPG's you mentioned you could argue last epoch is raising the standards for a release.
Even though PoE is clearly the best and its not even close imo the game on release was horrific, same as diablo 3 and 4 (didn't play the previous ones)
So yh its not "raising the standards" compared to a game that's been building on its success for 11 years and has had 35 seasons but Last Epoch does an awful lot right for there very 1st season.
@@vPzWalkerx Yes you are totally right,i was talking about the genre as a whole, but i phrased it very poorly, Last Epoch definitely sets a new standard, specially when it comes to quality of life features and how easy to come up with your own unique build, it fits perfectly between diablo and poe and even surpasses diablo imo
@@vPzWalkerx It's obviously infinitely better than the disaster that diablo 4 was fated to be, but unfair comparison to poe, this game have been on early access for 5 years, I've played many of it's patches in the past and I've been playing a lot of patch 1, server issues doesn't bother me at all as I just expect that kind of shit with every release of any game, but saying the game just launched and comparing it to 2013 poe is as unfair as it could get, a fair comparison would be 2018 poe, and although they did make a pretty nice game with new features in last epoch, it's not really raising anything, but I like having actual competitors so chris wakes up and fix some shit already, for example jonathan rogers saying poe 2 will have AH because they saw the community reaction to last epoch market, and maybe (probably) poe will get it too eventually.
Arpgs really dont need unique combat if you want that go play dark souls ha
