In this video I explored Aberdeen Beach as well as Pittodrie Stadium, the home of Aberdeen Football Club.
It was an sunny day in November! So unexpected! But Aberdeen FC are a top football team who play in the Scottish Premiership. As well as legendary manager Alex Ferguson, they've had some huge players and managers!
They've won the league in Scotland as well as the UEFA Cup Winners Cup and the UEFA Super Cup!

Aberdeen's run to the CWC final was pretty impressive in itself in that they beat Bayern Munich too in the Quarters and absolutely thumped Waterschei in the semis at Pittodrie (Gaelic for place of manure btw or Shit heap if you prefer :P). Its worth watching the Quarter Final Pittodrie leg (its on youtube) just for THAT free kick. Amazing how many of that Dons team became successful managers too.

Just found your channel a week or so ago, and am enjoying having a look through, especially with not actually getting to games at the moment. I will say, Aberdeen for me WAS the coldest I have ever been at a football match. Livingston drew 2-2 with Aberdeen in a league game Think it was March but it felt like the dead of Winter. to make matters worse we had to wait on the bus after the game good job we drew nothing worse that heading home after a defeat.

European stuff against FC Copenhagen (a 4-0 win) and the Bayern Munich 2-2 Last 32 of UEFA Cup during 2007-08 season then three drawn matches FK Shkendija (0-0), HNK Rijeka (2-2), Kairat Almaty (1-1) in 2015 plus Burnley 1-1 (2018) some of my favourite kind of memory.

Hey mate, a bit of background, the Merkland end is the family stand now, but the turnstiles there let you in to the South Stand as well, and generally speaking most fans would walk down Merkland Road from King St if coming to the game on foot, as they would go to the pub for a few pints first (The Pittodrie Bar) which is on King St. The main entrance is at the Main Stand (sure you know all this by now). The Richard Donald Stand or the 'The Beach End' is the newer stand (still about 30 years old though!!) The Main Stand is the oldest, you can see on the roof of it that its pretty old apart from two sections which has a slightly newer roof, that was due to a fire that broke out one Friday night before a game the following day. My grandfather was on duty that night and helped put the fire out.
