I have been on the grind lately. I just started buying Gem Apples with my Gold Points. Story Mode and Party Mode are my friends here, because my Nintendo Switch Online just expired.
I haven't paid for Switch Online yet, so I can't even buy Star Quest Codexes, but I've seen reports that multiples of those don't even raise the number of Gem Apples you could randomly earn all that much anyway. If you're playing for free in the long term, it can be a good idea to buy all the Adventurer-Gift Codexes as that guarantees you another 6 Gem Apples every 23 hours. As your Vigor bar grows, you'll want to prioritize buying all the Codexes of Vigor so it doesn't take ages to refill the bar and you can fit in lots of free quests per day for plenty of level-ups to make up for not being able to afford the greatest gear available yet.
Do heroic missions, I've already done most the easy ones plus can't afford gear to do some plus not a high enough level to clear missions like clear this in 30 seconds, or do this while getting platinum, especially when when you get poorly leveled and armored and upgraded team members, it makes it hard to do party heroic missions
Stay up to date to not miss passwords, me who started the game when all the limited time passwords already expired and only able to put in ones that are not limited time at all cause I started in 2022, what a cruel world.
I swear whenever I do Star Quests, 85% of the time I tend to get Elemental fragments and Rare fragments rather than Gem apples. =/ I have leveled up the Star Quest Codex as well and I swear after I did that, I tend to get so many Rare fragments I don't need.
You know, I’d just say that if you wanna play this game, your not getting it all for free, in my personal opinion, you should have a level 6-10 tree to play the game at a moderate and enjoyable pace, and it’s not that bad ether, you can easily just use your gold point exclusively for the apples. But that’s just my opinion, also another tip, abuse adventurer bells, if your lucky to have a friend or two that’s high level, you can use them to easily beat all the fights you need Edit so apparently level 10 is max so...

They are used for DX weapons and Armor which you’ll unlock at a later level

Rony gaming08 once every weapon and armor becomes available then it will start the DX weapon/armor rotation
