To clarify, here is exactly what you need for true 100%:
-100% complete Main Mode (all levels beaten, all spheres collected, and all ability challenges completed [with any rank])
-100% complete Extra Mode (all levels beaten, all spheres collected, and all ability challenges completed [with any rank])
-100% complete Merry Magoland (all challenges beaten, including the extra ones)
-Beat the Arena (time doesn't matter, just beat it)
-Beat the True Arena (time doesn't matter, just beat it)
-100% complete Magalor's Epilogue (all levels beaten with a gold rank or higher, and have the secret level completed)
-100% complete both the Jukebox and Theater (If you find yourself missing some songs after completing all of the above, make sure you have entered at least one HAL room in either Main Mode or Extra Mode, and beat the HAL level in Magalor's Epilogue)
Side note, you won't need to worry about getting all the masks, as doing all of the above will get you all the masks anyways.

I just finished my true 100% a bit earlier today. Just some corrections. You do not need platinums for every challenge stage or Magalor stage. You can still get the true 100% with just bronze on the challenge stages although you do need at least golds for magolor to get the extra level. You also do not need to 100% magolor’s move set. However I still might go back to try and complete the latter for the funny dialogue.
Overall, just make sure every menu icon becomes its rainbow or gold icon and complete the two arenas as well as magoland.
Also some extra advice for the true arena. I’ve found tons of use with sand thanks to its sand hide ability and it’s powerful upwards attack. You can also use souvenir items from magoland in the arena if you are really worried or are running out of health although it will mark this in the ranking.

I just did this yesterday and it was so satisfying. For context you don't need to platinum any of the challenges within the Lor Startcutter let alone get a high rank. You just need to beat them. Same goes with the Magolor Epilogue stages, just need to get gold as well as well as beat the extra stage.
You don't have to max out everything either. (As nice as the new dialogue is) And if you're having trouble with the True Arena, I highly recommend using the souvenirs cause without it, it is not easy in the slightest.

I had to do the Magolor Missions 100% solo (couldn't even connect my two joycons to act as two players since the SR and SL buttons don't work) and they were a NIGHTMARE. I have lots of useful insight that you could use for your video as well:
Egg Catcher: this one's easy but i actually went for 30 eggs which was pretty hard so i'll give advice for this. you should keep your eyes focused on two different spots: the middle of the stage, and Kirby's mouth. you look at the middle to know what is coming up (a series of eggs or a bomb) and then you look at Kirby's mouth to determine the best timing. if you only look at Kirby you'll be unprepared, if you only look at the middle you might tend to press the button too early.
Samurai Kirby: not much to say. focus on sounds instead of visuals, and know that "faulting" means pressing the button too early, not getting a tie. I accidentally reset a potential winning run thinking faulting meant getting a tie.
Checkboard Chase: oh boy. let's talk about no damage on hard. the CPU is very aggressive here. the less blocks are targeted by the attack, the quicker they fall; so attacks directed at the border will land almost immediately without leaving you a chance to get out of the way. when the game begins make sure to stay at the middle of the stage and focus on dodging without attacking. let them attack each other, they'll lose lives quickly enough anyways. you should only attack when it's 100% safe (no enemies in cardinal directions of you and you're far from the border) and you should only do that to balance the live count. when the stage becomes smaller, attacks will become basically undodgeable. the only way to win is to make sure the last enemy remaining has exactly one health when it eliminates your other enemy, and then land the finishing blow before it does. you'll both fall, but it won't count yours as a fall if your enemy falls first and you win the game. when dodging you can also use the pause menu when in a tight spot to have time to think where you should move to maximize your chances of surviving.
Bomb Rally: when you get perfect timing on your hit you'll do a smash strike that's a lot harder to counter for enemies. if they use a Smash Strike though, counterattack in the safest possible way. it's hard to hit the bomb too early, but you could easily press the button too late. swapping hands before hitting also increases your chances of scoring a KO, but be careful as it limits the time window you have to attack.
Crackity Hack: the bars aren't nearly as important as aligning the marker perfectly. in general, if you want to save time, all runs without a perfect marker on the highest difficulty are 90% sure to be a loss. you don't have to get max power on the bars to get a 999.99 (yes the CPU can and will get a 999.99) though, and a tie will still count as a win.
Smash Ride: for no falls, if a CPU is aiming towards you try hitting them before they do instead of running. even with a weak attack you'll stop their charge and be safe. also do this mission on the easiest difficulty to have better odds. for high score, probably just don't bother hitting the big blue mouse guy. it's a pain to knock down and gives very few points for what it's worth.
Kirby on the Draw: if you have very fast reflexes, play on touch mode. needless to use, you should remove joycons to have a better grip when using the Switch like a tablet. otherwise, stick mode is very balanced and actually gives you time to react. it is a little more luck based though.
Ninja Dojo: i should give advice on each specific target, but i honestly don't remember them. for me, it was more of an instinct thing than a methodical approach. i guess you can try to improve your timing through trial and error like i did, but there's probably a better way. memorizing how the target moves in each specific animation will be crucial though.
Tome Trackers: pause the game every time a tome is revealed, this gives you time to see which one it is. if you don't remember where it is, you can at least see which part of the screen has tomes of that color from the pause menu. Rush Time is when the game is decided though, and that's mostly luck based from my experience. you can still try the pause method but it helps a lot less.
Booming Blasters: the bane of my existance. hitless hard mode is a huge pain, as 1) even when you aren't being targeted, stray bullets will rain on you 2) the Super Shot ALWAYS spawns near an enemy as ALWAYS targets you. it will happen, so you can either run away if you are far from the enemy and try dodging, or run towards it and shoot it before it can launch the Super Shot, as being shot removes it from the enemy's hand. 3) the CPU is both very good (at dodging) and very bad (at hitting each other), so you have to play aggressively and finish them off yourself while still maintaining enough distance to dodge attacks. now, for more general guidelines: begin the game by standing as close as possible to an enemy, and shoot it as soon as you can. this ensures the attack will land, and it's relatively safe because the ai isn't programmed to attack on the first frames of a game. if anything goes wrong, you can just reset and lose very little time, so it's still worth trying. try to continue attacking the same enemy to charge your shots, which is massively helpful, and get him out of the game as soon as possible. a 1v2 is a lot more manageable than the initial 1v3.
pay close attention to ammo spawns too, as enemies will easily target you in those spots. at the same time though, you HAVE to secure those resources as without bullets you won't have a way to scare off enemies to create some space for yourself and targeting an enemy that has no bullets will get you some easy hits in.
and for my last and most important piece of advice: as you should know, the preferred way to dodge in this game is jumping over shots. on your side this can be used to safely get close to an enemy and land a sneaky close shot, but the CPU will perfectly time their jumps to dodge your shots without moving an inch. what you may not know is that if you shoot while in the air, the game keeps track of your height and gives a height value to the bullet. a high bullet will hit an enemy in mid air, but will pass over the head of a grounded enemy without hitting them. on the hardest difficulty the CPU seems programmed to jump over enemy attacks about 70% of the time, so that most shots miss and hitting the enemies feels hard. however, it seems the CPU does not keep track of a bullet's height when dodging, jumping straight into it when it passes over their head. this is extremely powerful for two reasons: you can turn that 70% fail rate into a 30% rate, and you can shoot these shots even from all the way across the stage like a sniper, remaining safe, because even if the game increases the chance of a CPU dodging depending on how far you are from it, the higher chance to dodge actually turns into a better chance to land the hit if the target tries to dodge by jumping. so your best bet is to do short jumps every time you shoot. if the bullet has a height value and actually passes over the enemy's head, you'll see them jump into it like idiots. this is not only extremly helpful to defeat them quickly, but also very amusing.

Tip for the True Arena (if anyone reads the comments), use the Tornado ability. It makes huge damages on the bosses and also gives you quite long invincibility. This was completely op on Wii, and it seems they didn't patch it.

Most of the Magoland challenges can be done without computer players taking part if you have enough controllers handy. I'm stuck on the last two True Challenges, beating Meta Knight twice in a row in Samurai Kirby level 3, and getting 10th or higher in Worldwide Samurai Kirby. Everything else (aside from the eggs, which took me a few days - didn't settle for anything less than all 30 eggs in all three modes) went by easily. You only need to include computer players if the challenge specifically says so, like with the sub-game from Kirby 64, or Samurai Kirby.

Sword's a decent pick for the True Arena without it feeling too cheesy. The i-frames on the spin slash can make for a brutal counterattack to certain attacks, but the ability does tend to struggle against the Big Doomers and Hydriath (You can't even reach the crowned doomer with twister slash most of the time and Hydriath is just f a s t). They gave it Twister Slash for Deluxe, meaning it has an easier time doing damage to airborne foes.

I already 100% the game before watching this video and everything you listed seemed hard except completing the jukebox. So after finding all three Hal rooms I went to the magalor epilogue one as well. After I did that I returned to the mode selection screen and turns out you just need to complete the jukebox for the 100% Wii mode selection music to play. Now another thing I did before watching this video was the merry magoland true missions. But other than that I didn't do any of the other things. Now this isn't to not encourage someone not to do any of the other things listed in fact I'm still going to go back and get all platinum ranks on the copy ability. I hope anyone found this helpful.
