Guys, Alf is not missed as you say. He's with us as long as he lives in our hearts. The show ended twenty five years ago and look - we all still are here, we remember him and that's how he lives! He is our idol, he made our childhood and he will never go away because we'll never forget him! Every time I have a problem, I call Alf and the problem solves in hours that same day. Alf is a compass for us, a powerful one, by the way, and if we will believe he exists - he will exist! Just don't forget him and he won't be gone! Alf bless you!!!!
IKR! a lot of his jokes are pretty witty IMO. For example: I got the Barbecue lit. Specifically the wheels. Hey Kate, where do you keep your casserole dishes? Why? The cat won't fit in the toaster. Sutelor! the gas is on. I forgot to light the oven. Oh well. Better late than never. KABOOM! Aww!........... Well I guess we'll have to order in. We had a Robin hood on Melmac. Did he take from the rich and give to the poor? No. He just stole the hoods of peoples' cars.
I love this show! ALF needs to be in the new fall lineup. Me and my son (who was 3 years old when ALF came on) used to watch this together every week. Priceless!!
There’s a lot more options for television now than back when ALF first aired and the broadcasters, especially on network broadcast television, are fighting for whatever little audiences they can still get. It’s all about what will get viewers and sponsors.
Willie was the perfect counterpoint to ALF. Max Wright had a theater background and clearly brought a lot to his performance, especially considering how messy and tediously time-consuming it was filming episodes of the series.
I'm 30 knew of alf but never watched the show and until now I been binge watching every episode on CZcams for free with of course a ad or two in every episode sometimes 1 and it's so funny and great comedy
They need to have an ALF reunion. I love this show. I've been on youtube for a couple hours. Its midnight and i couldnt think of a better way to end the night than a great laugh from ALF. So funny.
@@deionpehowdy Yeah, they're either not in the DVD set, or they were heavily censored, due to controversial themes. If you watch Toy Galaxy's history of Alf video, he mentions something like that.
thank you for having this I loved him in 1986 in still do now you helped bring back some memories i always liked his dad to one time he said alf was grounded!
One of the funniest moments I recall from watching ALF when ALF pigs out at the dinner table. While he's downing everything, Lynn (the daughter) exclaims, "He didn't even say grace. ALF stops eating and he says, "GRACE!"
The funniest scene on Alf is where he is hiding under the Parents bed.Willie try's to scare him out from under the bed by jumping up and down. Alf says."Way to go Willie"
Max Wright is dead now, so a full reunion is no longer possible. Also, you may not like what they’d have to say. The cast members were interviewed years ago by People magazine and they all said that filming the series was a hellish and tedious experience because of all the puppet work involved in the shots.
Loved this show as a kid, i cried on the episode where he was leaving for melmac but he ended up coming back im pretty sure lol. Unfortunitly I cannot bare to watch a full episode today unless maybe im baked as hell, but it will always have a special place in my heart.
I think this tv serie brought one if not THE best christmas special ever made. If you love Alf i can really recommend the christmas special from season 2... It's an amazing piece of work in my opinion.
ALF is amazing! I loved to watch it as a 0-3 year old kid. Obviously I didn't understand *anything* of it, but I laughed my ass off, according to my parents! Now I have downloaded it again and I'm watching it. :) At season 3 now, it's still hilarious! What a great show.
i love it! the best part is offcource the window closing twice, and where he says "he's quick, i'll give em that" love it, the dutch subtitles where cool to
I almost agree with you and I live in the US. To me, the British style of humor is much more cutting and honest and yes, sometimes it seems more intelligent. I just wish there was a WORLDWIDE broadcast system so we could get more than just reruns of OLD British comedies.
I got the series on DVD (most of the episodes anyways) and I can say that it's as funny now as it ever was back in the 80's. BTW, the original run is almost 24 years ago! Guess all of us were kids in the late 80's and early 90's and we just can't believe we really are gonna be the old men who keep talking about the good old days, eh? :p
I wonder how much of Willie's anger and frustration towards Alf is Max Wright's actual anger and frustration towards Paul Fusco bleeding through into his performance.
Very likely considering what Wright and all the other cast members have said about how extremely taxing and tedious it was to tape episodes of the series with all the puppetry work. But if it adds to the realism and humor of the performances, that can’t help but not be a plus.
Another funny moment I remember with ALF, was when Alf sings "The Song that doesn't end", then he asks Willie how the reast of the song goes, then Willie tells him to be Quiet, Then Alf starts singing: "Just be Quiet, Just be Quiet" over and over. But I forget which episode it was from?
It’s interesting you say that, because I’m sure they tried extremely hard to make the character design be something that would be aesthetically kid-friendly.
"Where do you keep your casserole dishes?" "Why!?" "The cat doesn't fit the toaster!" lmao!!
Grease Fire! Grease Fire! Oh no! Never mind the curtains put me out! LMAO!
Remember Alf? He's back. In POG form.
sexymike1253 You traded my soul for pogs?!
Millhouse give him back his soul, I got work tomorrow

I love Alf soooo much. He's cute, cuddly, and funny. I send him hugs and kisses.💗💗💗💗

He was back, in pog form.
I got all 4 on dvd
no matter what he does you got to love him
Troy Andrew i dont. i hate him
Ava Lee I don't like u then if u don't like him why are u watching him
IKR! a lot of his jokes are pretty witty IMO. For example:

I have enough trouble thank God he doesn’t live in my house
I love this show! ALF needs to be in the new fall lineup. Me and my son (who was 3 years old when ALF came on) used to watch this together every week. Priceless!!
I saw this in Mexico too! ALF's english voice and spanish voice are incomparable, so it was weird when I heard his english voice ^_^
Yeah me too hahaha so different!!!
Really?
@@christianparrish6647 yeah!!!

The German voice is much better than the original (and that is huge exception; usually the German dubbing sucks).
This is my favorite '80s comedy show!
this show was before my time. i was born in 1992. discovered alf through dvds a friend let me borrow. been in love ever since.
why do they don´t do this kind of series today?... why 80s have gone?.... i need it back..
Thank god Shout Factory has been releasing old shows on DVD and Blu-Ray. Unfortunately ALF isn't one of those shows. :(
I wish I can live older...
I was born too late and always wondered what the heck this show was. I could definitely go for a cheesy slapstick comedy right now.
There’s a lot more options for television now than back when ALF first aired and the broadcasters, especially on network broadcast television, are fighting for whatever little audiences they can still get. It’s all about what will get viewers and sponsors.
The actors weren't happy.
at the end when he chases the cat.....
" he quick i'll give him that.."
funny as hell
"Where do you keep your casarole dishes? The cat won't fit in the toaster."
Whatever they're paying those writers... it's not enough. Pure Genius!
Willy was the best thing about Alf. You just got to admire his reactions on the brink of madness. Superb comedy!
Willie was the perfect counterpoint to ALF. Max Wright had a theater background and clearly brought a lot to his performance, especially considering how messy and tediously time-consuming it was filming episodes of the series.
2:54 - funniest scene in the entire series.
This was a fun show!
"Hey Willy, let me know when this gets annoying." Hahaha
used to watch ALF as a kid. very funny :)
I loved this show when I was young, it is like 11 years since I saw it last time. The best thing about Alf is how he is always straight-to-the-point.
Here in '21
Oh My God! This show was so hilarious! I loved the episode where he got sick. Funny stuff.:)
i have all four seasons ALF was the best show ever and still is!!!!!!!!!
Great show great family type of show something that has been lacking for the past 15 years
I'm 30 knew of alf but never watched the show and until now I been binge watching every episode on CZcams for free with of course a ad or two in every episode sometimes 1 and it's so funny and great comedy

Gotta love alf!
He's quick...I'll give him that! Priceless!
I remember Alf as a child. I loved that show. I even bought the Alf hand puppets at McDonalds many years ago. :O)
i never thought this show was huge funny, but it was very likable.
Oh the 80s..... what a time to live in
a very nice show,I really miss him
IKR! I would by the Season box sets, but I heard some episodes are missing.
@@nine_tails137 Missing?.
@@deionpehowdy Yeah, they're either not in the DVD set, or they were heavily censored, due to controversial themes. If you watch Toy Galaxy's history of Alf video, he mentions something like that.

One of my favorite shows. Great clips!
Best sit-com of the 80's!
I love Alf thank you for sharing
good old times with Alf, pure comedy
R.I.P. Max Wright, what a terrific actor.😥
He and the rest of the cast really went through a lot doing ALF, but through all that, he really added to the charm of the show.
I LOVE THIS SHOW!
wow! takes me back to my childhood.good old alf
I love this show.
One of the funniest moments I recall from watching ALF when ALF pigs out at the dinner table. While he's downing everything, Lynn (the daughter) exclaims, "He didn't even say grace. ALF stops eating and he says, "GRACE!"
Thats the right attitude....my old-school greetings from Austria!
The funniest scene on Alf is where he is hiding under the Parents bed.Willie try's to scare him out from under the bed by jumping up and down. Alf says."Way to go Willie"
"Getting out of the window" scene----0:40hillarious!!!
"We're going into a trance now...[sound effects]...it's ok, I don't mind" 1:16---Priceless!!!
Alf's voice changed over the seasons...from a plain monotone sound...to almost a goofy 3 stooges sound.
omg alf is such a legend he is so funny 5/5
If Calvin and Hobbes were ever made into a series, Max Wright would have been perfect as the voice of the father IMHO.
Too bad he passed away. :(
Superb mix! Almost the best of Alf :-D
Love this show! Hilarious!! This group needs to do a reunion show.
Max Wright is dead now, so a full reunion is no longer possible. Also, you may not like what they’d have to say. The cast members were interviewed years ago by People magazine and they all said that filming the series was a hellish and tedious experience because of all the puppet work involved in the shots.
even though i was born in '93, i love this show when my mom first showed it too me and i still love it no matter what its funny.

Best show ever made!!!!!!
That bit with getting caught in the window was the funniest thing I'd ever seen on a sitcom.
I grew up watching ALF in Peru dubbed in Spanish. So cool to see it in English.
"No hay problema Willie!"
I love this show!!
