    Day 17. Everyday isn’t going to look the same. Some days we may be more tired, other days we may be the most energetic person alive! Today, I had to tell myself to slow down and listen to my body. To recognise that I’m human and won’t be able to do things with 100% energy, all of the time, and that it’s okay to take things slower. I love how in these practices, Adriene reminds us that ‘we can always do this on our knees’ or can ‘keep the knee down’, giving us freedom to take a step back if we need ♥️

      Thank you for this comment, I needed to hear this today. On days I'm more distracted, more tired and the flow just feels a bit harder, I tend to get down on myself, today was one of those days so I appreciate your words. Knowing we can modify or find different ways to support ourselves in a way that works for us (without judgement) is such a helpful reminder off the mat as well. 💞

      I agree...we might have low energy today and high tomorrow. Thank you for sharing, very relatable... and a good reminder not to be so into getting the perfect poses or breaths... Infact.. I've had few of some unmotivated days, few yrs ago on the mat, I had to take breaks, come back, pick it back up at my own pace, listening to some modifications Adriene mentioned or suggested or just watch Adriene's cute assistant,Benji's😊💞as he marvels in his relaxing positions, he puts a smile on my face everytime but at thesame time... I am listening to her guiding supportive calming voice. Or I give the session a go later during the day after taking some moment off. Yoga has always been very beneficial even on the hardest days showing up....I truly appreciate your comment. Thank you❤️❤️

    Day 17 - this series seems to have gone so quickly. It’s become a joy to get up early for 6am yoga (the time it premieres in London). I hope everyone is doing well; it’s a privilege to share this yoga practice with others. ❤

    ngl after the practice, I had to go back to the moment Benji was expelled from the mat to fully appreciate that noise he made. You’d think he’d be used to having to move by now.

    This is my first 30 day flow and I’m so proud of myself for not missing a day. This has been such a miracle for my poor very overweight, arthritic, hurts to move body-I notice each day I have a little less pain, move a little bit easier. And I’m getting stronger! Yesterday I managed the forearm plank, and today I managed 2 straight arm planks. But mostly I treasure the peace this has given me each day. I love the comments and it gives me hope kindness and love can win out. Have a fantastic day and know that you matter. ❤

      I'm proud of you! This is my first 30 day flow as well and I'm behind a few days as I started late but have done every day in order and enjoy the peace of mind, the slow flow of movement, the calmness I feel after each practice and look forward to my time on the mat. And yes, we are an encouraging community 👍😄

    Something about today struck me as extra special. Adriene's words, tone, and the movements all lined up in a way that felt so supportive, grabbed ahold of my morning crankiness and turned it into a much kinder view of the world and myself. And that little grunt from Benji was priceless. Thank you, Adriene.

    Here's to those of us that aren't flexible enough to get downward dog to look the way 'it's supposed too'; that try to get our knees less bent and our heels less high without getting all the way; that shake on the breath and feel like 'Who decided this was a resting pose? WHO?'; here's to those of us that won't get past our stiff and creaky downward dogs, that still continue to do them. It may be a cliché, but sometimes one needs a little resistance to grow. Keep at it friends, woof woof

    Shoutout to all my fellow big belly people. Those knee to belly moves can emphasize that area and feel frustrating, bringing negative self-talk. You are worthy of this practice and all it gives.     Just wanted to share a little story time here quick for those that maybe need some inspiration to keep going as we flow through the second half of this challenge. A few days ago, a giant old tree fell into my home. We had to gather all the dogs and cat and fish and relocate as it went through the roof and into the house. When we went back a few hours later to safely grab our things, I took my yoga mat and said “I’m not giving up now, no tree is gonna stop my practice!” And it gave my boyfriend and I a silly moment in the midst of chaos. Yoga shows up for us just as we show up for it, and I try to carry its lessons with me through every day. ❤

    Benji's groan when you moved him gave me a good laugh!!! Great to finally hear his voice;) I am noticing how much stronger my core is getting, as are my arms. It's easier to: 1. lower down from plank to belly with proper form and 2. roll down from sitting to lying without "plopping" my back down. This was a great practice with lots of fun poses! Thanks Adriene, Benji, and the YWA team for this amazing journey! Thank You God!

    I realized this morning why i find it hard to come to stillness in Mountain Pose. Mountain Pose is truly the most honest reflection of oneself and when you are trying to find "the most beautiful mountain pose" you are struggling to find the most beautiful version of yourself... There are days when I feel broken and this self reflection is hard... like today, I am struggling for balance... still waiting on a diagnosis for neural disorder.... so many things ruled out over the last 3 years and only breadcrumbs of insight as to what is wrong... Anyways... I am very much looking forward to continuing to work through the self reflection which is my morning yoga practice and find more peace with myself even (and maybe especially) on my bad days

    I had a 14 hour workday today with travel and important presentations. I just finished today’s yoga in my hotel room using a hotel towel as my mat😅 My back was so tight from the stress and travel and these twists were the PERFECT way to end my day! Feeling proud of myself for accomplishing this day and making time for yoga! Also feeling extra thankful for Adriene and this yoga journey today 🤍

    Today I finished Day 17 ! I’m going in order but at my pace!!! I had to walk away and come back, redo, been interrupted you name it ! BUT I COME BACK ! everytime , I’m so Proud of myself and if your reading this I’m proud of you too! Even if you are just reading the comments right now, wondering if you will ever get started !     I have to say, that the 'do nothing' moment at the end of this practice felt sooooo Incredible & different. I'm not sure there's even a proper word for it. But I am grateful for you work Adriene.     I am so grateful. My Foundation seems to be crumbling around me, which gives me opportunities to create a stronger one. A dear woman shared an oracle card with me about the bat spirit guide as one of the things that happened was I found a bat sleeping in my garage very close to where some work needs to be done. My day ended in a car accident, and the Sweet Soul, who I hit, hugged me and sensed that I needed to find myself as he said. I burst into tears as soon as I bumped into his car after all the things that had happened yesterday. Today's practice rinse was so perfect to try and let go of all that yesterday held for me, including my divorce being finalized. I needed a bit more this morning, and I went back to Adrian's 12 minutes self-love meditation after this yoga practice ended. It gave me the release that I needed as I stopped through most of it and also felt the warming of my hands on my heart. ❤

    My mental health and my relationship with others and myself have improved dramatically with practicing yoga for 17 days this January. I am impressed. If you ever struggle I would recommend you do some movement every day, be with your breath and you might even be able to get away from moments you thought were unending and unbearable. This has helped me, but everyone's journey is different so be compassionate with yourself. light to you!

    One thing I've loved about this journey, is how a lot of days aren't meant to kick you in the booty (or the abs - **cough** day 6- ) so they allow you to really think about the integrity of your movements and postures. A lot of times, I only think of how to get a sweat and don't always move with the most integrity. This helps us build those reflexes🤗

    I've been studying all day long for an exam tomorrow. To be honest I am terrified that I won't pass and also overwhelmed by all the information. This practice really helped out with calming my mind and rinsing all the stress. Now I no longer feel exhausted and scared, but instead I found the motivation to keep studying and focus on positive aspects. Thank you so much. This practice was a gift both for body and mind

    When Adriene said ‘take a moment to just do nothing’ 22:43 it made me realise, normally at that bit of the practise I get up and start getting dressed but I realised there’s no rush and it’s actually one of the most important parts of the practise.     It's the day before we head into our new school year here in Australia. Hot and humid and just a touch of anxiety. I'm well set with Adriene's yoga journey and just signed up for Tony Robbins 3 day free seminar set to start on Friday to finish my week. So grateful for all these free offerings from one teacher to another, thank you and Namaste.

    I really struggle with anxiety and other mental health issues. Leading with the breath has really been helping me calm down. I love these yoga sessions with Adrienne and I'm just really happy to be here.

      I also deal with anxiety in my life… I’ve found that accepting it and flowing with it lessens its impact on my life… and yogic breathing is huge too 💕. Wishing you ease of being & peace ❤

    This month is really hard for me, because a year ago I lost someone through a terrible incident. And even though I am struggling hard with trauma symptoms, these daily practices are giving me so much strength and hope. I am excited for tomorrow’s practice each day and feel this gentle calmness wash over me after every practice. Thank you all for showing up and doing this journey with me- you are making me feel a little less alone in this world ❤ Sending love your way!

    I spent today mostly asleep on anti anxiety medication. When I woke up I was given the opportunity to finally let go of a relationship that had been dragging me down for the past few years. I was feeling a bit groggy from the medication and it was past midnight when I landed on the mat. Today's theme was a good fit for my state of mind. Now I feel calm and grounded and free.

    I’m really enjoying how each day of this challenge starts off with floorwork and builds off of that, but always keeps us rooted to the fundamentals (plank, down dog, alignment and breath). It feels like we’re really building something we’ll carry away even after these 30 days are over 😊

    woke up this morning allowing myself to rest in bed for longer than usual. I noticed my breath and after sleeping for 11 hours and experiencing multiple very odd dreams, I felt well-rested and happy to be alive. my mom joined me for today's practice, as we are both doing this 30-day challenge and sometimes the time of day we decide to practice perfectly aligns. I enjoy the time I spend with her, knowing that both of us can be very hard on ourselves, as we take care of ourselves simultaneously. now it's time for tea and biscuits! practiced with 5021 others today, glad to have this wonderful community and presence each and every day. thank you

    Benji’s grunt and tantrum walk off made me giggle and brought a little extra spark of joy to my practice today! Especially when he huffed back but refused to lay directly by you, then eventually forgiving you and coming back beside you again. I’m so glad you allow him to be part of the practice.

    Having Benji there makes all of Adriene's practices so much more "real." She has a life outside of these videos, and Benji reminds us that she is human just like all of us.     I tried something different today…instead of rushing through the pose because of difficulty…I decided to be present with each pose and pay attention to what my body was saying. It was still hard but more enjoyable. ❤

    I had a tough time getting on the mat this morning, but was grateful that I did as soon as I saw Adriane wiggle her fingers for the wavy screen effect! That tiny bit of silliness reminded me that I'm allowed to enjoy my body, and I loved carrying that feeling through this flow.

    Namaste and Good morning to Adriene and all followers from Tenerife. Yesterday there was such a bright sunny day Yoga with Adriene was a listening comprehension as I couldn't see a thing on my laptop. Today sun disappeared and made way for some big and grey clouds just in time to do yoga in the shade. In mountain poses I could see some rain clouds coming in from the ocean. I was lucky the rain clouds headed some other way. Namaste and have a great day it was one gorgeous and difficult lesson.❤

    I recently discovered this program and it has drastically helped my mindfulness. Its so easy to get carried away by the day but having a yoga session after a long day and workout really helps my sleep. Definitely need to share the news.
