- We look back on a successful day out at Wembley on May 25th 2015. City came out victorious against 4th place Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final, despite failing to beat them in the regular season.

Left home at 4am. Had to travel by bus from Yorkshire because the trains were on strike. Found out I was going to be an Uncle for the first time on the way down to Wembley. Watched us win, saw that stunning team goal from Redmond. Got back home at 2am, had to be back in work at 6am. Best. Day. Ever.
What an incredible day that was! Pure joy when Redmond put the second it and loved every minute! Love this club so much! OTBC

The first half of the match was probably the best of the best as a start,when I watched Jerome’s goal was a clinical strike and as for Redmond his goal was I felt he was comfortable on the ball and he knew he would tuck in,to be fair though Norwich were the better side than Middlesbrough in the first half.Second half you might be thinking that Middlesbrough will be back in the game but apparently not,they haven’t got the quality,as Norwich they deserve to go to the premier league.
Not quite the Man City game, but this was still a good game for Norwich in terms of silverware

There was no contest Norwich were just better than Boro on the day simple as that first goal was fortunate Jerome picks Ayala's pocket and Konstantopolis should really be doing a lot better but the second goal was just classy. A lot of Norwich fans were thinking that Lewis Grabban would have started as the striker for this final instead of Jerome considering his goal drought before the play off semi against Ipswich but Jerome's goal proved that Alex Neil made the right decision to stick with Jerome and leave Grabban on the bench.
