Thank you this will help me with my transition to Android.
Do you have a review of the square stand?
Come on! You should have about 100k subs at least. Nice work
+Khavand Maharaj I mean I don't disagree!
If I want to take credit card payments, does my phone need to have NFC? I’d really like to get a moto g6 and it doesn’t have one.
Do you know if I can start a transaction on an iPad and then have them sign for it on an iPhone?
I want one for Christmas! Would you recommend?
Do you think the docking station is a needed accessorie?
Use one for the barbershop and I love it!
can square accept International payments
Can we buy it in canada?
Does it print receipts?

Great review
Wait what? I thoguht Chip cards needed a pin???
hey! so I just got this in the mail today. I already had the regular plug in swipe thing and of course this box came with another one and the chip reader. Do I use this new plug in reader or is it just for the chip reader, and I have to switch back to my old one when they don't have a chip card? I know, I probably don't make any sense on how I'm asking..
+Cynthia Rodriguez The new swiping reader included with the contactless one is exactly the same as the one you most likely had previously. The setup would be having both available. if they want to use Apple Pay/Android Pay, contactless payment, or EMV chip, you use the new bluetooth card reader. If they do NOT have any of those, you would swipe the card the way you always would in the past!
Thanks for responding! Appreciate the help, Andrew!
So you will have to pay the 2.7+% for the transaction plus the 2.5% that the bank charges you for using it?
No.. you pay a flat 2.7%. If you charge someone $100, you will get $97.30 deposited into your bank account.
Where can I get that iPad stand?
Donte brown i saw them at sams club
Where did you purchase the stand.

I would look at Toast and other POS systems. My register was nice until I needed a new customer facing display. It has been 8 days, numerous phone calls, hours wasted, escalated to managers who talked to the "fulfillment team" and/or the "engineers" and they still can't get it out the door. Rep after rep, manager after manager, same thing "well it should go out today or tomorrow, call us if you don't get it". Over and over and over while my staff and business pay the price for their inefficiency.
wow were do they seal those at
from Square, Best Buy, Apple stores, and more.
What stand are you using?
The square stand it looks like
sorry for late reply but its not the square stand its this czcams.com/video/TPj9wx1MoAM/video.html
does it work for Android pay?
Yup!
How do you enter a pin? There is no pin-pad?
+Brett Russell Hi! Great question! So at the moment, Square is only releasing these to customers in the US. The US does not use Chip + Pin, they use Chip + Signature instead (which unfortunately, is much less secure :-/)
That means the pin isn't needed, and there actually is no place. The simply sign on the iPad/iPhone/Android device as soon as they make their payment!
Square offers the Miura m010 for PIN but with this reader you just sign for chip and tap.
+Andrew OHara It would be intersting what square does with euopean credit cards. My card blocks all signature transactions.
+simon65xxl even when inserting the chip? Signature is still a valid CVM app on all cards. Now if they block the stripe that's a different story as your chip will still work in this reader and other chip readers in the US, like Walmart. Walmart and Kroger force PIN on chip debit cards in the US, even if you want to use signature you can't.
Is it me or does this guy sound like Chris from Family Guy? Great review though!
Is the rate still 2.75% today?
It is
Il buy it as soon as money hits. Let's support USA
Do a review on this service it has given a lot of people problems they like to keep your money.
$30 for a dock that should come with the chip reader? What a complete rip-off. It's literally 50 cents worth of material.
Most people in the U.K. use contactless now so a chip isn’t needed
