I live in Dubai and the "cheap" super cars have been hire cars. The dealers also grossly under declare the mileage in the ads and claim cars have warranties until you ask to see it "ah it just expired". By the time you ship it to the UK with the taxes and the costs for different regs then all this project is - is for click bait CZcams videos to get ad revenue and "different" but useless real world content

@@alialb20 u can import cars on import plates and drive it there for 12 months, then store it in a place abroad with lesser of a tax on the car etc.

Driving a LHD in UK, i see this guy has got it all worked out. LOL. Awesome. Importing these cars in EU its near to impossible as they have much tougher regulations than UK for imports, specially from US and Mid-east.

Mate its ridiculous, I was there 3 weeks ago and it was 38 degrees C with 80% humidity which made it feel more like 45 in the day and 33 at night. But on the flip side that car must have the max air con on but still.

I think you should also check the lp580 murcielagos. They are cheap, MANUAL, and they appreciate like no other Lamborghini right now
I find it difficult to understand how this makes sense, financially. Even if you buy a car manufactured in Europe, you still have to pay 20% VAT (which is based on the price of a car + shipping).
So an £80k car will cost almost £100k. And - in most cases - its resell value will be significantly lower due to being LHD.
I mean, it’s a cool idea and all, but unless you find an absolute unicorn, it’s (literally) not worth it.

After paying the 20% import VAT &, shipping costs... will there be much change out of getting a RHD one in the UK for 150k? Are there costs to convert lights or anything else for it to be UK registered? Hope you cover this in a future video.

It is non EU compliant and the Yezzy straight pipe Bro is best only works if you register/insure it in a country that has lack laws(Florida/UAE etc ), then ship it back. In Britain you won't get it insured unless you MOT it. Also don't buy now wait until mid winter. The used supercar market is about to take a dump, over financed and inability to sell to a saturated market they are depreciating at horrific rates.
The "savings" made will be lost converting it to RHD UK spec, and getting it roadworthy after paying shipping and importing costs... I think the Lamborghini will be quietly sold once back in original black, and MOT applied for (might struggle with all the modifications to exhaust emissions) 🤐
The revenue generated from youtube will be the focus of the videos?

This is part of Paul's own interest to keep his own investment some light as he can't afford to drive his own car over the last 5 months. The values of Supercars are going down, look at deprecating McLarens to see how much people are losing on financed supercars. The next 6 months will see who is wearing shorts when the tide goes out. Brexit, winter and a general downturn in the economy means January would be better to buy a Lambo if you have the capital. I would offer a low ball that you want in 3 months and see if they bite.

Be very very very careful, I know of a dealer in Dubai who was selling this same car to more than one person , my mate nearly lost 400k , literally had to get the car on a plane out of Dubai.

First, if you really want a cheap one, you want to look at the trade ins those dealerships will flip at the auction because they are too "beat up." Or the back row in the outdoor lot. In fact, if they have an indoor showroom, that's probably not the place to shop. High mileage supercars will also end up in non-supercar dealerships too. Also, you should be trying to get hooked up to buy at a dealer auction too.
I'm looking at price savings of around 15%. Add delivery and tax and you're adding 20% to the total cost. How are you saving money?

@Andrei Andrei2 shipping itself is typically 8,000 AED, $2,000 - $2,400 USD with most shipping companies.
Taxes / GST is different in all countries obviously. But shipment wise no more than $3,000.
Just shipping in container will be around $2500 USD

That "wrapped" Ferarri is made of a forged composite body! Instead of wooven carbon fibre, it's forged kinda like metals.
Don’t forget your HMRC Duty costs, EU/UK emissions/regulatory related costs plus shipping - sadly it adds up
GCC specs are actually more stringent and regulated than EU regs. Those cars could pass inspection anywhere
They lead for GCC but many cars do not comply with UK standards at all in my experience at all

An Aventador LP700 at Prestige Cars in Kent, similar to the yellow one you show, is on auto trader today for just under £150k, with less milage, and 1 year younger, that makes it cheaper than Dubai.

To buy a cheap supercar you need to go private.Dealers will add 4-5k easy on the price and because you're importing the warranty doesn't really matter:)

when shipping over to europe add 30-34% on top of what you paid for the car in taxes ,Vat ,shipping ..etc and you'll realize you're so damn close to the price you'd had paid in the first place in europe for an exotic :)
